not really happy about this one.. just got it (on mp3 off course, I aint gonna buy this before I listen ) and listened fast trough it.. so far the only track i liked was track 4, Dance of The Cosmic Serpent, which sounds more than ok but some typical elements ruïn it.. i don't got problems with these full on basslines in the track, most of the time they sound better and more funky than those old school basslines, but the fluffy delayed and reeverbed full on sounds that i have heard 100000 times bother me a lot

Is the 'Down at the crossroads' track a remix from an old blues song or is it a creation from Bilbo himself? if it is a remix: GREAT REMIX! and if he created all the melodies by himself, AMAZING SONG!!!!
-
I saw them live in 2004, was pretty decent, but not amazing.. I do like some of their tracks a LOT
-
it's true that it is not really entrancing, it is more like 'oh my god this is insane '-music When he played his set in belgium in february I was really suprised that his new material was way better than his other stuff which is also really good, and you don't really go in a deep trance, but he lets you see every corner of the room :posford:

in fact this is the best 2006 release
-
suomisaundi doesn't need top notch quality
-
sounds like a must have, My expectations are high for the Penta, Para Halu, Digitalist and Encephalopaticys track the last one did a 3 hours live=dj set at a party here in belgium in march and that was one of the best sets i ever heard.. and if i'm not mistaking he played the para halu track at the end (but not sure though, cuz it is only a sample)

I like minilogue, maybe i should check this out btw is minilogue son kite??? I didn't know that
-
Exactly my thoughts.. He knows what he is doing.. and Waves from Outter Space was very good, but I think it is way better.. more crazyness, but maybe less entrancing because of the glitches it is different but that's a good thing that he keeps innovating

What music are you listening to right now?
Jeller replied to Sputum Rotgut's topic in General Psytrance
At this moment you should be all listening to the new Kdd album -
Kindzadza - Waves From Inner Space 1. Crystal Inside 2. Inner Vibrarion 3. Superstrings 4. Shivaya Voda 5. Keep It Clean 6. Wide Range Broadcasting 7. Proto Constructor 8. Spirit Of The Wind 9. Rapid Life System This is the second solo album by Kindzadza, you all know him so no further bla bla bla There is no use to review this track by track, because you are supposed to listen this from the beginning to the end.. The style is still Kindzadza like we know him, but more psychedelic and better production.. Yes it is possible!! It does have more glitches and some tracks even have real melodies :drama: Further words can't discribe this perfection, that's why I'm gonna keep this review short. The closest discription that I can give to this is that this is psychedelic fysics. The real use of a review is to get an expectation from what you are going to get, so the only thing I should do is telling you how good this is, but I can't find the matching words :wank: . So you will have to buy this and hear it for yourself. One last sentence to convince you to get this is: this is, I can tell you this after listening one time to the complete album, the most psychedelic and intelligent piece of music I have ever heard. *can't find the most enhanced word* to Leo!

Penta is not dark full on.. in my list Naked Tourist also isn't in fact, but it isn't really dark psy too Penta also isn't dark psy, but it has kind of the same structure.; just like Cosmo, Highko, Kindzadza, Osom and Quasar .. they aren't dark psy because there is nothing dark about it, but they aren't full on either because full on has an other structure with more breaks and different type of bassline and I don't really know morning full on songs that are as good as The Prayer, maybe some other tracks on that cd are even, but most other full on songs get cheesy.. maybe Electrypnose - Ca va barder.. not really morning full on off course, but it nice and melodic oh and Intriga has a lot off nice songs, reminds me of old Infected style, but more drive.. his music is unreleased tho, so search on the web, i think you can find it here or on mikseri

seems nice, I like minimal
-
Electric Universe - Cosmic Experience Artifakt - Artifakts II Digital Talk - New Age Surf Double R.E.L. - Cereal Killerz Naked Tourist - Mad Different Methods Phatmatix - Sorcery Rinkadink - Pirate Signal Rinkadink - Rabbit from Darkside The Misted Muppet - From The Legend Twisted System - Core Twisted System - The Dealers imo best morning full on song is Electric Universe - The Prayer i used to like morning full on a lot, but now i barely can stand it
-
Jaïa Khetzal Pleiadians Cosmosis although i prefer crazy acidic above it
-

Haltya - Always Ultra -
oh my god very good afgin tracks!! especially the third one is very nice still have to listne to the other tracks
-
As long as the music is good i don't cae, but unfortunately most of the tiem that is not the case.. well Gorump Peyya, Xikwri Neyrra and Sekt for example have some nice tracks, but most other songs above 160 bpm are very bad and boring tracks over 160 bpm that are nice: Sekt - R U Mental? (165) Osom - Night Flirt (160-190?) Sekt vs Aremakki - Wood Man (180) Electrypnose - 2013 (166) Gorump Peyya - Jowy333 and his leads (168) these tracks are original and not only based on speed and bassline.. but i still prefer deep dark psy but most of the time i prefer hardcore at that speed, the production and construction is better.. and psybasslines don't soudn groovy at 170 bpm.. but maybe it will get better with the time
-
i also like it, but apsara is better imo
-
nice review.. interesting, i'm gonna get this soon
-
the good thing about this is that it is very spastic, but Penta has the spasms under control, pretty paradoxal this makes it so amazing
-
I also prefer apsara.; nothing here matches the Ypsilon 5 and Goasia track imo
