same here.. the melody was pretty strange in the beginning for me.. after listening to it more it got better.. still i don't think this compilation is amazing.. overall i think it is not my style of goatrance.. i prefer acid goatrance instead of euphoric goatrance and this album is mostly just trancy melody... so overall i think it is a bit too cheesy for my taste, but still nice, it is just not really style.. the track which I like the most, is the Aerosis track, but it is not the best produced track in here.. 7.5/10

it is more psychedelic than lots of psytrance and i would call it minimal amazing artist indeed

Take Two has a verrrrry good part in the middle of the track which is so spastic that it even becomes uplifting (3min 22 - 4min08) only Penta can make such stuff by the way, sometimes it is easier to make a track good with some melodies, cuz then it is more than catchy and easier to apreciate than to make a track with just crazy sounds and rhytm, because than it is way harder to make it catchy but off course a good melody isn't easy to make, so it is both pretty hard there is a difference between random noise and the things that Derango and Penta make

Para Halu is nice but not all tracks.. Twist Dreams i also like, but not 100% my style of goatrance, sometimes too trancy Penta - Horn Please is very good, maybe best so far some VA's like Morthor Spede are also very good but Kindzadza - Waves from Inner Space will blow everythng else away :posford:

yeah that one also keeps doing it for me.. definately in my top 10 too and another one not to forget.. Infected Mushroom & Xerox - Acid Killer really funky and psychedelic, outstanding track and recently discovered: Taika Kim - Kuntele Tää.. an outstanding experimental suomisaundi track, amazing melodies and also very psychedelic off course and for dark psy i think one of the best tracks is Highcosmos vs Full Moon Va - BBQ with Mackies.. amazing dancefloor track

the album that sounded too amazing on acid was Quasar - One Day perfect story and so nicely produced

In all subgenres there are nice tracks.. overall i dislike full on and prog the most

Electric Voodoo Man is indeed one of the best tracks ever.. but my best track is Jaïa - Mai Mai, pure bliss :drama:

Va - Hacking the myth reality this is dark suomi from 1996 which is very close to goatrance, but still spugedelic I believe it is released on Psy-Harmonics

7th June that's waaay too long for me to wait.. this album is going to be the best dark psy album ever

i like the aerosis and talpa track the most.. i think constorsion would be te best for the dancefloor en the talpa track is very original!!

yeah i got this album pretty long now, but last month I listened to it on acid and then i realised that this album was more than amazing damn this music is the most psychedelic i've heard i think

i don't like it either for dancing, but not only for the breaks... well some full on is good.. but best state of trance music is Para Halu type of music.. really deep and psychedelic..

yeah this album is very niceee, way better than Funraiser

most plugins have bad presets anyway.. the only plugin i have with very good presets is massive

2006 was very good year, way better than 2005.. but 2007 so far is not that great i think.. but Kindzadza will blow everything away i think Penta will be great too

is it orginal full on or just the same as most goatrance producers do now?

Cosmo not psychedelic Cosmo is überpsychedelic, everything about it just sounds so great on acid and it represents the crazy cartoony atmosphere which you have on a good trip.. if i had to name 10 psychedelic artists, cosmo would be definately be in it!

Kindzadza Highcosmos Ticon Simon Posford Infected Mushroom would be weird result

I think it is very lame to trash Aereosis.. those guys just try to make the music they want and imo they are very good! If you want that goatrance will die completely, this is the right way with the demotivating chat.. Even if you don't make music yourself, you need to think twice about what you are saying. The Constorsion track is very nice and not a copycat song the track from Mindcrawlers - Firebloom (half Aereosis) is even better imo, so these guys don't lack talent at all.. Keep up the good work and make the music you like
