  1. woah man I can't believe how incredibly crap the scene has become! I tend to consider the Shambala mixes to represent the best that the scene has to offer and this year it has ONLY crap, I actually had to force myself to listen through the whole mix, only 2-3 tracks were mildly interesting and even then nothing really made me want to jump out of my chair
  2. 32... but when I do acid I feel like I'm 16
  3. brand new Shambala 2012 up for grabs!! (you have to fill in your email adress to get the download link though ) https://www.facebook...190322544333196
  4. FUCK YEAH!!! This is what I like about this forum: just when you think you everything there is to be known on a subject, someone comes over and shows you that you still have a LOT to learn
  5. hmm I've written a lot of personal stuff in this forum over the years, not really sure I'd want to share my private adress with everyone
  6. Is it me or has the D&B scene gone really soft lately? What ever happened to those in-your-face dark tunes where the basslines seemed to bark at you like huge mad dogs on rabies trying to bite off your legs? http-~~-//www.youtube.com/watch?v=sARp5oZOMj8
  7. So I don't know if any of you are following the new series Alcatraz? It's made by Lindelof and shares quite a few elements with Lost: the island lost in time-space theme as well as Hurley! Although this time around he plays a quite serious detective role which is pretty dissapointing IMO Well, I'm liking it It's far from being as good as Lost, but still the best new series our there IMO. BTW another series capitalizing on Lost's fame is Person of Interest starring Ben Linus, he actually plays a role pretty similar to Ben's, although less manipulative. Still, after 2-3 episodes I got pretty bored with it... So what are your thoughts?
  8. actually I DID see it, at first I didn't feel like watching it till the end cause like I said, knowing this type of movie I knew that it would take a loooong time and not really go anywhere. Then I had a lot of time to waste and I said "ah what the hell, I'll just watch it". And indeed it went nowhere... For rip-offs, for example that scene where the android crushes the woman's skull in his hands is a total rip-off from the famous scene in Blade Runner! For the lava lamp comment, well, people tend to say that about stuff that is too reminiscent of the 60s, it kind of goes around when commenting on such stuff so yes not really an original idea I know But anyway, I guess that if you like this type of movie, go for it. If not, just stick to the classics...
  9. heyyy I was wondering, could we have a way to "see" soundcloud tracks directly on the forum (the same way we see youtube vids)? Since more and more artists are moving to soundcloud and this is esentially a music forum I suppose it would be a great feature tu have no?

  11. hmm nice but sounds a bit generic, there's not that extra touch that makes me go "wow" 7/10 http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=WLAIq0SRjZk#!
  12. LOL yeah it seems this guy is a pretty big hit in the US
