  1. in flemish but most of the interviews are in English, even Paul Oakiefold himself speaks for a bit. Pretty funny to see how people saw electronic music back then Part 1 Part 2
  2. what would it feel like if Google was available in the BBS days? [EDIT: damn, there seems to be a bug in the code ah well, try Bing in BBS instead ]
  3. ha that's odd, I don't get any pizza cutter when I click... anyway if you want to read the article:
  4. Etnica still delivers some nice tunes every now and then... Pleidaians on the other hand
  5. hmm to my ears that sounds more like electro-goth...
  6. went to see this at the cinema after all the rave reviews and wondered why the hell did it get such positive reviews? It's a total rip-off of The Running Man and Battle Royale, there was almost nothing original in there! What the hell, movie critics don't watch old movies anymore??
  7. heyyy catching up with 2011 thanks to your recomendations and it turns out that I missed out on some pretty cool stuff. Well, as always, I complain and then when I actually take the time and effort to dig through the pile of crap I realize that there are some gems in there. Current overlooked favs: Into the Void and Catfish Thanks for the infos everyone!!!

    Your sex

why do I have the feeling that general activity on this forum sudenly dropped once people realized that there weren't any chicks around? lol
  9. hmmm that twilight fad really died out fast IMO... just like with every sub-sub style of psy, it sounds great when ONE artist is doing it, but when you have 100 artists that jump in the same bandwagon it's not fun anymore
  10. Oh they never really went away, they have always kept relasing stuff here and there, just on a lower profile. Of course, their style has nothing to do with oldschool ManMadeMan but it's still pretty nice IMO. http-~~-//www.youtube.com/watch?v=jbPwD3R26Go this one is actually one of my favorite "warm-up" tracks of all times free dload available from ektoplazm BTW
  11. playing around with my new toy and got a fancy for a game called Taptap Radiation where you basically tap you hands on the screen to the rythm of a melody (ok I know it sounds stupid but it's incerdibly addictive ). I got bored of the music that came with the game so I chose to download an extra music pack and I found none other than... Hallucinogen?! Ok, Hallucinogen In Dub but still... Now, if you had a time machine and went back in time and told Simon Ps fans in the 90s that one day his music would be used for games I don't think they would've appreciated it. So, what are your views? Sell-off or a visionary aiming for the next big thing? Personally I'm just amazed that anyone at Apple Apps even knows who Hallucinogen is lol
  12. aaah another gem http-~~-//www.youtube.com/watch?v=3-08lUVQSC4&feature=related
  13. Personally I'd say that these apps look more like toys than real stuff... although some proffessional reviews made me reconsider. And after all, when computer DAWs first hit us, "professional" musicians were laughing at them but noone's laughing anymore today, so I'm guessing that the same will happen with iPad DAWs in a few years. So I was wondering, is anyone here using them? What do you guys think of them? From what I'm reading Nanostudio seems to be the most apropriate for electronic music making although I've never tried it personally, on the other hand I'm pretty amazed to see that FL Studio Mobile gets pretty bad marks, I thought this would be THE best app out there...
  14. oh yeah there was actually a show with some rocker-magician who had to escape from the roof before the deadly powerful lights went back on
