  1. Personally I couldn't freakin' stand that One/ Your Name track when it came out is was EVERYWHERE and I just couldn't understand how such a simple track could have so many fans. BUT somewhere down the line I stumbled on this vid where they explain how they did it and it turns out it is much more complex than you'd first think. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vLbGrfnRGK4&feature=fvsr then I heard their new track on the radio and I must say I'm impressed. I mean, again, if you don't really pay attention it sounds extremely simple and generic but then the more you pay attention to details the more you realize there's a LOT going on in there. So what do you guys think?
  2. so then yet another year has gone by and I was wondering what are your most recomended movies of 2011? Preferably small easy-to-miss productions that you feel people should pay more attention to? And while we're at it, what would your worst movies be? For me... ummm well I can't really say that I've seen anything that would get the "unmissable" status. The worst one would definately be The Tree Of Life.... maaaaan that was long and boooring!!! I don't know whoever told Terence Malick he could direct, every single movie by him bored me out of my skull!!
  3. lol how to undress a girl by drifting http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=04LDCl2mes0&oref=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.youtube.com%2Fresults%3Fsearch_query%3Dgirl%2Bdrift%2Btoyota%26oq%3Dgirl%2Bdrift%2Btoyota%26aq%3Df%26aqi%3D%26aql%3D%26gs_sm%3De%26gs_upl%3D7939l10963l0l11251l11l10l0l9l0l0l182l182l0.1l1l0
  4. hmm sorry but I don't really see the dubstep elements in there... it's very good breakbeat psychill but not dubstep IMO
  5. how bout this? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wbQ5gPQwrXY
  6. woah that sounds really cool For me, since most places are overcrowded and you don't really get the "right" type of people at new years parties IMO, like 99% of them are just wasted beyond belief and start picking fights and shit. So I just went to a small party with my gf, had a good time but nothing really special.
  7. best chill-out: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UTDguGZ-ezg
  8. best vocal trance: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2lBCRvGA0_Q
  9. best commercial track: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tg00YEETFzg&ob=av2e and this one definately gets my vote for funniest track of the year lol http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XKMoVAObbhE&ob=av2e&oref=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.youtube.com%2Fresults%3Fsearch_query%3Dduck%2Bsauce%2Bbig%2Bbad%2Bwolf%26oq%3Dduck%2Bsauce%2Bbig%2Bbad%2Bwolf%26aq%3Df%26aqi%3Dg4%26aql%3D%26gs_sm%3De%26gs_upl%3D33066l39884l0l40050l23l22l0l13l13l0l210l1417l1.5.3l9l0

  11. oh man there are TONS!! As a general rule I'd say that dubstep bought the most (pleasant) surprises this year in spite the over-commercialisation of the style there is still plenty of uncharted territory to discover And as an artist I must say that I'm most impressed by Avicii, this guy is just 21, came out of nowhere, using just a pc and FL Studio and is releasing massive hit after massive hit! How the hell does he do it?? Anyway, here is my list of best of the best of 2011 in each category: Best dubstep: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Z81xhqrtTVM Best electro: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_ovdm2yX4MA&ob=av2e
  12. umm maybe you mean this one? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JwemepEhOPA
  13. yep, these guys actually mingled into psytrance territory for a short while: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=O6qSFwW-T1g however personally I'd put them into the "forgettable" pile, I guess they repeated too much that In My Mind track on MTV when I was a kid lol
  14. umm... nice but I don't really see what that mix had in common with psy... for me psy dubstep would be more on the trippy side like this:
  15. hmm why do I get the feeling that this was written by a Brit? lol
  16. A seemingly intoxicated moose is discovered entangled in an apple tree in Goteborg, Sweden late Tuesday September 6 2011. Per Johansson, 45, says he heard a roar from his vacationing neighbor's garden in southwestern Sweden late Tuesday and went to have a look. There, he found a female moose kicking about in the tree. The animal was likely drunk from eating fermented apples. LOL
  17. In a mud pool at the sea salt mines near Bourgas, Bulgaria locals gather. He applies the mud from the pool and then stands upright until it is dry only to take a dip in the nearby sea. Afterwards he gets a relaxing swim in the 30cm of water in the salt mine. lol I remember my parents tried to get me to do that once when I was a kid and I found it sooo disgusting...
