I have to admit that every once in a while I listen to this... BEST love ballad ever BTW http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ktRsl2hAPhY

hahaha I just had to post this one:
-
hmm well that's because I chose tracks that had a bit of electronica elements in them and which I like more than the usual hip hop influenced tunes Here's a longer mix of a "typical" trap set, that way you get a better idea https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2F6d6crjRyU

So, as always, I'm always interested in the latest developments of electronic music and I've stumbled on this, well actually I guess you've all heard it on the radio here and there but without knowing it was an actual music style in it's own right, some sort of cross between hip hop and dubstep. Pretty damn commercial but, like in any style, some stuff that isn't bad at all: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NGjFNhbq0Hk https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5wn7Yol3Cpo so what do you guys think?

actually I thought this was a legend but it seems that it is for real, a festival on a deserted island in the Carabeans (!!) and a pretty impressive lineup. Anyone ever thought of going there? It must be one hell of a party... wouldn't dare imagine how much it would cost though
-
yes, this sounds crazy but it's true! They will organize an electronic music festival on the old set where they shot the planet Tatoonie scenes in Star Wars, which still stands today in Tunisia. It's not psytrance although I rekon it could be a pretty magical experience, who wants to go there? article in french (sorry, the news just started to hit french news, I haven't found an article in english yet but it will probably follow) http://parisfaitsoncinema.com/tatooine-fait-son-festival-electro/

Beware, Tomorrowland is an Illuminati festival!
Lemmiwinks replied to Lemmiwinks's topic in Off Topic
well obviously, it's supposed to be a fairytale land, do it takes a lot of its inspiration from fairytales... which in their turn took inspiration from pagan elements who were later deemed "evil" by the chruch... As from Tomorrowland being far from the trance dance experience hmm well yes and no, yes it is very expensive and the main scene is commercial, however there are lost of other smaller scenes that keep it pretty real (including a psytrance one ). And tripping while wandering through the deco, I can tell you it's one unique experience -
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fDX_hXp1uEQ bwahahaha this one had me laugh so hard I just had to share it with you all

Sorry, the article is in french, but it's really worth the read/ translate... Basically a girl explains how she realized that the parties were actually a massive conspiracy to enable entities from other dimensions to inhabit our world by taking possession of our bodies while dancing, and that DJs are wizards that throw spells on the dancefloor. Ok, it made me laugh (especially since apparently the girl saying this doesn't seem to be aware that it was all in her mind), although I have to admit that I've had similar visions while tripping... What are your thoughts? http://www.2012un-nouveau-paradigme.com/article-l-elite-noire-derriere-les-rave-parties-122011947.html

BWAHAHAHAHAHA!!! I couldn't stop laughing!!! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=d-iBJQFMvgo https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NicfLmpYuy8

basically it started off as a prank, and then some youtube videos went viral, now everyone wants to do it anyway, I was part of it and I'm proud
-
aparently this is a trend that started in New York, basically some pranksters took the "common" nightmare when you dream that you're going along your business and suddenly realize that you're naked or in your underwear and decided to make it real. So everyone meets in their city at a certain hour today, take off their pants and go on for a subway ride, minding their own business... Anyone up for it? I'm going in Brussels http://improveverywhere.com/missions/the-no-pants-subway-ride/

happy new year to you all!!! for me 2013 was a pretty mixed bag, I had a lot of fun, work-wise it was ok, but but my love life sucked... let's hope 2014 works out better

Merry Christmas fellow psyheads Since just wishing Merry Christmas is a bit tacky I was thinking of making a topic where we could share funny/ interesing Christmas-related posts... here is mine: How Christmas morning would look like if it was directed by famous directors like Spieberg, Woody Allen, Stanley Kubrik and so on: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DnKcTTPUjyU

haha cool !!! apparently there are also other easter eggs but they don't seem to work on my computer... maybe yours? One would be typing "ponies", another "use the force luke" and "beam me up scotty"

Big Night Out - small docs on underground events
Lemmiwinks replied to Lemmiwinks's topic in Off Topic
hehe yeah now that you mention it, I probably should've said "small docus"... and yes, we had a similar show here too but like you say, they just concentrate on the mainstream scene so it becomes boring after a while, the nice part about Big Night Out is that they show the general public scenes that most people don't even know they exist
