I'm pretty sure that song is on Travelling 4, I only have chapters 4 and 5 and I know it's on either of them. Too bad my chapter 4 disc 2 is stuck in my old busted cd-player, but I'll try and get it out so that I can confirm this to you. Stay tuned.

Yes it is a great tune indeed, well worth buying the compilation.
-
Doesn' t Aerodance's "Pop Freak" have that melody? By the way, there is a Finnish pop-song too with the very same melody.
-
No I'm afraid it's not that one... But THANKYOU THANKYOU THANKYOU for trying to help!!! Others, follow his example!!!
-
Infected Mushroom (the band) has made a track (The Gathering) that has a sample like that. Capisce?
-
I always thought it was dang-a-long...
-
Must be one rare little bastard this one, since nobody recognises it despite the pretty unmistakable sample.
-
But Pop freak isn't minimalistic (although everyone is naturally entitled to his/her own opinion on that matter).
-
What's the track with a sample of a woman saying "I looove shaking it!"?
-
Oops, pardon me! I was in a state of temporar(?) mental dis-order and totally mixed "Visitor" and "Passenger". So none of that applies really! I apologize for any inconvenience!

It's pretty good or at least okayish if you like MFG/AP -sound, but the covers are absolutely hideous, if it was for them I would never have bought such cheesy looking crap. I think it should be widely available, have you checked psyshop and saikosounds?
-
I'm pretty confident that it's a Dark Soho -track indeed, or at least in very similar style.

V/A - Goa Inside 1 Artist: Various Title: Goa Inside 1 Label: Connection Date: 1996 Track listing: 01. Phreaky : Paranormal Activity 02. Encens : spiritual Transgression 03. Man With No Name : Low Commotion 04. Total Eclipse : Can't Do That 05. Eat Static : Bony Incus (Man With No Name Rmx) 06. Sundog : Touch The Sun 07. Mindfield : Let's Get Stoned And Watch The Freaks 08. Alier : The Day Before Point 09. Cosmosis : San Yacid 10. Joking Sphinx : Nysos Review: Ok, this still is one of the best compilations I own. It was released only in Finland, and it hasn't been for sale for years. The reason I'm reviewing this is that everyone should go and get these timeless classics by any means necessary (yes, even MP3s are allowed). First track by Phreaky is probably the best of the best. I mean woah, it's so good and intense it'll blow your socks off, guaranteed! Truly full-on, truly melodic. Track 2 starts less hectic and developes into a beautifull morning-tune, superb. Next track by Martin Freeland is quite possible the best he ever made, uncompromised goa without a hint of club-cheese. Not too fast, soft and melodic. At this point you probably think I'm starting to go out of pro-verbs. Well, yes I am, but it doesn't matter really, as no words can do justice toTotal Eclipse's "can't do that"! Pure acid killer that'll mess your mind badly if you are not careful! I think "Bony incus" is the best known out of these tracks as it's appeared on several compilations, but it's great nevertheless. The following two tracks by Simon Carman and John Ford (+ Mark Allen in Mindfield) are catchy and a bit silly, but especially "Touch the sun" sounds very unique with an oriental theme, really nice. "Let's get stoned and watch the freaks" is somewhat weaker a track but the sample is arguably unforgettable. The only bad track on this album is "The day before point" by Finnish artist Alier, the levels are phukked up and only thing you can hear are the hi-hats. I can't imagine why this track got released at all, let alone on this otherwise great compilation. Oh well, on with the good ones, then. "San yacid" shouldn't need to much of an intrduction, let's just say it's an essential track to own, melodic tune in perfect Cosmosis fashion. "Nysos" by Joking Sphinx rounds up the album quite nicely with it's mellow rhytms and melodies, although it's pretty clearly audible that it was made ages ago. But at least it has aged with style. All in all, all the tracks except "The day before point" are a significant piece of goa trance history, and this compilation is a masterpiece among Finnish releases (BTW, where are they nowadays? And I'm not talking about overly-weird Exogenic stuff.). Make no mistake, this one gets a definite 10/10

No no but it isn't really a flute -listen to Depth of emotion and you'll hear what I'm talking about, it's just that my english isn't good enough to explain it well. Thanks for your attempt though, I'll check that track out.

Ok there is this awesome track I'm looking for previously discussed about in this thread: http://onewayltd.dyndns.org/psyforums/read...f=9&i=197&t=197 I've come to notice that it sounds very much like Dark Soho - Depth of emotion from 3:50 onwards, but especially the eerie sound, the flute(no but I don't know what that high noise that goes on should be called) is different and that's the instrument that makes the classic ghost house melody in the track I'm trying to find. Are there any tracks that sound similar to Depth of emotion, or is there maybe a remix of that somewhere?

Uh, that subject of yours is kinda misleading you know...
-
Haha, look no further: Saikosounds lists it as "available", although the price is surprisingly steep (but then again, I don't know how much the CDs cost there in the land of fjords
-
Wow, I mean WOW, what program is that from, I mean is it from some travel-series or...? I'd like to see the whole of it.
-
Aaaw, is it just me or does that "Goamuzikfest" seem like the dodgiest thing ever? Hopefully that won't be the only thing for the New Years there, otherwise I'll have my year changed at Gokarna.
-
Exactly my thoughts too, especially since those nice Italians have undoubtedly made some serious cash with their records under the names Pleiadians and Etnica, it shouldn't be too much of a decision for the record company to make, to release or not to release the Crop Circles -album too.

Phase2 - What day are you flying to India?

I really hate to sound desperate, but that's what I am right now! C'mon people, some of you MUST have heard this song, and some of you MUST know the name of it!

I've given this album quite a many listen-throughs as I feel that I should love it. Can't help it: I don't. It starts of with somewhat lame Logic Bomb -track. Level of psychedelia is quite high on this one, but I feel it has no flow or direction to it, and ends up being just boring. Compared to, say, their album or more recently the track "Glitter" on Dimitri's dat bag, this is sub-par. Then comes a tune by ninja traxx, fast and hard-kicking but that's about it. This is the only track I've heard from them, so can't really compare to anything. Track 3 is Labyrinth's Imprint. I absolutely hate this poor tune, it sounds so basic and uninspiring that it makes me sick. Yuck yuck, definitely 'not my cuppa'. Ok, from this point, the album gets a lot better (for a short while anyway). Parasense's Microwave has lots and lots of groove to it, pumping night-time stuff with just enough twists and turns to keep your mind occupied. Excellent. And the it's time for the absolute gem of this compilation. It seems that Neuromotor is unable to make a bad track, and this one makes no exception. It starts of great and ends up even better. I'm not particularly keen on the samples at around 8 minutes but they don't ruin anything. One fantastic stomper, ALMOST worth buying the whole album. Back to misery, then. Xenomorph -track is veeery bad, basic 'thirteen in a dozen' -kind of tune. Nothing more to say. Track 7 by Fungus Funk is one of the better ones but still nothing to gaga over, nice beat and weird sounds. Listenable. Number 8 and what can I say. Nice(y) but not excellent nor even very good. I guess you shouldn't listen through the whole album at once, as it is likely start sound very repetitive. BUT: Aerodance's track is an odd and wonderful ending! I'm sure certain people will find it cheesy and silly, and in a way it is, but I can't help loving it to bits! Just the kind of stuff to put a WIDE smile on your face! It's made stranger still by the fact that a part of the melody is exactly the same as in Finnish song 'Kuusamo'. Somehow this doesn't sound traditional at all, it's more of a groovy experimentation, or at least I see it that way. G O O D ! So, I give this album 6/10, but sometimes it's 7/10, depends a bit on your mood. A couple of great tunes and a bunch of dullies. 'nuff said.
