Nice review Thats indeed strange that there's so much difference in sound. Maybe Renato gave You unmastered or remastered wavs? I was thinking of buying this album, but samples on psyshop & mp3 dloaded sounded totally fucked up, (I don't know bad production, or mastering)

I can hear the difference. One point, You have to have good audio equipment to hear the difference clearly, comparing to to wavs, or audio CD properly mastered. About year ago I was also in the oposition, saying to evryone that there's no difference, or the difference is unhearable. But these days I was listening music on weak eqipment. I think You will hear the difference when You decompress mp3 to wav & put in in the cd player, not through a soundcard comparing wavs & mp3

I'm buting only physical CDs. Maybe I'm oldschool, but digital wavs are too expensive (bestport) If You want to buy new music in wavs, You have to pay twice as CD. Due to I bought VG audio equipment I can't listen to music in mp3, since there's for me huge loss of quality.

When I see post "extremely limited CD" I must ask this question. Is it going to be CDr or pressed CD?. Please tell the truth, don't be like some labels saying they're selling cds , while it's cheap CDr which after 1-2 years of usage become useless piece of plastic.

I've tried lot of coombinations with equalizer listening to E-Mantra Arcana, but I failed, it sounds like overcompressed, loud, sound mess. I have NAD 356 ampl. & Canton ergo 695 speakers, all other music sounds great on this equipment

The same here, I bought another one which was also soon in 2 parts. Problem was with inner tray which was to big for hole in the CD. When I was buying 3rd copy I asked shop to check it, remove from digipak & send in another box

That was probably aobut CDrs. Their maximum is around 10Y. I have Czech classical cds from 1988 & they're all fine, my wife is listening to them often. I bet they're going to live another 10 years easily BTW I'm also archiving my collection on 2 drives (1 backup) & I'm on D letter (sorted by labels)
