  1. I think we need a welcome topic where new members can introduce themselves. Every forum has one of those. Maybe a topic where members can post their photos? I don't think it's offtopic.
  2. Psygone has made his second partially released album Organique available for listening at soundcloud. http://soundcloud.com/psygone08/sets/psygone-organique I'm a bit confused with the last track though. The track Exstatica is the same with the track Psyquest that I have in this compilation. But also in this cd there's a track called Xstatica by Psygone. If Psyquest's original name is Exstatica, then what's the original name of Xstatica track? Maybe Psyquest and we have a name swapping? Can anyone confirm this?
  3. Which is one of the best goa albums ever btw.
  4. That he made it from scratch.
  5. 2-3 nice tracks. The rest is a cheesefest, sorry.
  6. His best track IMO. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3FGR62DhHYY
  7. Oh shit man! I've met him and he was such a cool guy. Plus IMO he was one of the most talent artists out there. RIP dude
  8. Too bad Xtorted Mind isn't there. This track is the closest I've ever listened to Pleiadians. Dark, spacey, psychedelic!
  9. This topic is about ppl that listen to psytrance that you've never expected to. I have two examples: 1. A couple of years ago I was in a big record store searching for cds in the goa/psy area. Next to me there was a 60 yo dude that was wearing an airforce suit. At first I thought he was there by mistake, but after some minutes he picked 5-6 goa cds and left! Some years after that I was doing my military service. One morning I had a daywatch at a gate. Then one car passed by and you could listen that the driver was listening to goa trance. When I looked inside I saw that dude!!! He was older than my dad, he had a son older than me, he was an airforce officer and hes was listening to goa in the airport! How cool is that? 2. I was in a record store that specialized in dance music. Then a kid came in with his mother. The kid was no more than 12 I swear. He started to search the goa section for many minutes. He then asked the shop owner the most amazing questions like ''Do you have the first Astralasia album?'' or '' Do you have the Joking Sphinx album'' etc. Needless to say that everyone in the store was speechless. His poor mother wa standing for 20 minutes waiting for him and then she paied for 20 cds the kid bought. I'll never forget it. What about you? Any stories to share?
  10. No.4 reminds me a lot of Jake's Stephenson style.
  11. I agree that the original is repetetive, especially the middle part, but the minimal use of the classic melody in the remix is unforgivable. I mean you have THE best melody ever and you use it for like 10 seconds?
  12. You know from one hand it's sad to can't find a place where djs play the music you enjoy, but from the other hand maybe the fact that psytrance is still underground keeps it alive. I mean we all know what happened when psytrance went mainstream. Skazi, Dali, Hypersonic happened. I perfect example is what happened here in greece some years ago with uplifting trance, which was an ultracheesy version of nithzonot. Everyone was listening to it and I mean EVERYONE, but the 99% of them didn't care about the music. It was only a trend, now it's dead and only a few hundreds still listening to it. (Which is normal tbh cause it's super crap). I definitely don't want to see psytrance becoming a trend (although I find too difficult for that to happen since psytrance is more crazy and ''difficult'' for mainstream audiences).
  13. I prefer the original because IMO is more raw, in your face psychedelia. The Filteria remix is more uplifting with a beyond belief final climax. The Pleiadians one is more spacey and darker, but I wish they used the main melody more often.
  14. Ehm guys, the main melody in the remix is only used at the end for like 10 seconds.
  15. What the hell? Relax man... I just asked you a question.
  16. Do you dislike full on basslines specifically or all 16-notes basslines?
