Well to be honest I think I would vote for 2.5/5 as well. The things I don't like is that it sounds way too Hallucinogen style for me which was never my favorite. I also find the melodies forgettable or a bit cheesy (not the good cheesy kind). The tracks are all well crafted, but they can't keep me interested and they are anti-climactic (something that the whole new school scene suffers from IMO). Also there is way too much reverb!

After some listens I have to lower the score to 2/5.

I haven't got it yet, but I'm not surprised. His previous downtempo album 'Endless Universe' was -to put it simpy- a Masterpiece.

Are you talking about the 4cd boxset? I have bought that boxset for 10 euros yeeeeaaaars ago(we still had drachmas back then) in a basement store I walked in just for fun! Oh the memories! The memories!

Huh, cool stories guys! I will never forget the day (not many years ago) that I went to a huge virgin megastore to look their offer selves. The store was closing down so they had put almost every cd they had as an offer. Needless to say they were all in random order. So the only way to find a cd you were actually looking for was to search them one by one. They were thousands of them. It took me 3 hours. I finally found Hara Gobi's album. I paied and left smiling. I'm sure the guys at the store would think that I was some crazy weirdo!

This is kind off topic since it's not about psytrance specifically but anyway. What I miss the most today is the cd hunting. And I don't mean the online one. I miss the real cd hunting. Taking the bus and go to the other side of the city to local cd stores and try your luck in order to find some psy cd. That was the days! I remember going to every cd stores I could and searching for goa/psy cds. Some of the rarest cds I bought them that way. I will never forget the escitement of going in a really small corner store and find a dusty copy of Doof-Let's Turn on! And so many others. Good, old romantic days.

Well yeah, but you know most/if all of the answers that introduced in Lost even from the beginning can't be explained with scientific terms. I mean how to explain a sentient black smoke or an island moving or consciousness traveling etc. etc. Yes you can use electromagnetism as they did, but we both know that just naming those stuff 'electromagnetic' phenomena doesn't make it scientific, does it? For example in the last epidose the mother called the source 'the light' making many people angry, because it sounds like magical, mythical shit. But the exact same thing the Dharma folks called it electromagnetic pocket. But it's the same thing, isn't it? BTW: S5 was by far the best season of Lost IMO.
