It's too mad to be Power Source and the kick + bass don't sound like Sandman IMO.

Michael Jackson: Tracks thats been remixed (RIP)
Ormion replied to psytones's topic in General Psytrance
Damn! I always thought that Smooth Criminal would be great for a psytrance cover. The bassline is almost psytrance-ish I didn't know that it has already been remixed. I'm not aware about Sabretooth, but Sirius Isness? I guess it's pretty cheesy. -
Emmm....what?

If you search there are a lot of videos out there that show MJ without make up and you can clearly see black spots all over his body, similar to all ppl who suffer from vitiligo. Plus ppl with this disease are extremely sensitive to sunlight so he needed this infamous umbrella everywhere we went. AFAIK the only way to fight both vitiligo and lupus (another disease he suffered from) is extreme heavy medical treatement which eveltually kills the body cells. Possibly this is why he looked like a freak more nd more and none plastic surgeon could fix him. IMO the biggest mistake of MJ is not to tell anyone about it (until 1993 when he finally confessed it) and prefered to lighten his skin tone more and more, making ppl to believe he's changing his color for other reasons.

For me 145 bpm is simply perfect for dancing. I can dance to anything from 140-160. Tracks with slower or faster tempo can be 'danceable' only if they have a moving melody or rhythm.

I gave another spin to my Dangerous copy and I just remembered how much of a masterpiece this album is. RIP Jacko

I was just kidding, don't worry

I would! Minimal psy should die and never-ever live again.

If you think you can write better music then I would love to hear it. Ishq is genious and only when you're completely relaxed and focus you can understand how great his music is.

Well why only the Israeli style can be considered as pure full on and not the more aggressive stuff? After all full on as a term means energy so the purest form Full On for me is the Absolum style and not the Israeli stuff. This is how I see it: Back in 2000 the were two sides of Full On. The Alien Project/Astrix style which was born from the GMS formula and the more aggressive 3D Vision style which was born from Absolum-Wild. Eventually the Astrix style dominated the releases and sales, which led many ppl to believe that Full On is just that, while they were other more aggressive Full On acts even from the early 2000's. IMO of course.

Sounds like Technossomy

Supeeerb tracks!

IMO the problem with the Full On scene (and the reason that it's regarded as pure shit) is simple. Most ppl believe that Full On=Israeli Morning Clubby Full On which is a HUGE MISTAKE. Israeli Morning blah, blah Full On is only a subcategory of Full On. And I can tell you that the Full On field is pretty diversed. Absolum-Inside The Sphere and the first CPU albums are Full On. Yet they are agressive, metallic, pure badass psytrance. Rastaliens and Fractal Glider's latest stuff are Full On. Yet they are pure melodic non-cheesy trippy stuff. Miraculix and Orca are Full On. Yet they are dark-ish melodic stompers. And don't even wanna start about the South African scene. The bottom line is that FULL ON IS NOT ONLY ISRAELI CHEESY FULL ON. Simple as that and yes I do like full on a lot! As long it's not cheesy and poppy. But this goes for every psy subgenre. I don't like cheesy Goa either. Or Progressive which is after all a much more cheesy subgrenre than Full On IMO. I don't think anyone disagrees that the majority of the full on that it get released is indeed crap. But putting everything with a rolling bassline in the recycled bin is not very wise IMO.

I agree with Drosophila. I've listened to a loooooot of Suomi the last years and I find really hard to think of some artist that gone more full on-ish. Of course they have changed/evolved their style over the years, but full on? I don't think so.

Interesting. Write a review or leave a comment when you can.

MJ was genius. In all levels. The sad part about him though is that he died lonely. I never believed this stupid pedophilia accusions. Like mars said MJ was a child in a man's body. He never had a childhood. His father was abused him and his was just a kid when he became a world superstar with Jackson 5. After Thriller though he became such a star that he couldn't walk in streets anymore without fans hunting him down. He was just a boy. And what about his vitiligo problems and the fact that he had to take heavy dermatologic treatments, make-up all day and avoid sun? Ppl around the world started to mock him. I used to knew MJ as a weirdo star that he wanted to turn white cause black ppl never made it to MTV. Bullshit! He was just sick. He spent most of his life in Neverland alone and sad. Yes, he was weird. Yes, he was still a child. Yes, he didn't understand what it's politically correct when you're around children. But can you blame him? Can you crucify him? Anyway if he's really dead then RIP dude. If he's still alive, then I hope he'll live happily now.

Don't worry I'm pretty sure it will come soon. Multistate are very active. And in case you can't wait, Lost & Found's debut album is coming soon on 3D Vision.
