  1. I like to read small reviews of albums I don't own. I like to read detailed reviews of albums I own. I do't do drugs.

Repulsion What a masterpiece! No wonder why Polanski became famous after this movie. Definitely a movie ahead of its time. Superb direction, superb script, superb acting, superb atmosphere. 9/10
  4. Still haven't watched it. Is it any good?
  5. I agree, but this happens to every music genre.
  6. You must have balls to do such a thing! I congratulate you! :clapping:
  7. +1 I mean it's easier for me to go to the Saikosounds page than search p2p sites (tbh I don't even know how they work) and wait till they're downloaded. After all if you can't understand the music in 4 minutes samples then you suck
  8. Nice alternative album. Some indeed very good songs. But I'd still choose 'Le Tireur..' over this though.
  9. I don't disagree that there are many awesome trance tracks outside of the psy field, but this forum is called Psynews.org, not Trancenews.org so here is your answer.
  10. I voted for both, although I can appreciate music much better in home.
  11. Possibly a silly question. I myself can be very affected by the cover of an album. Although a great cover can't help a bad album, a great cover can make a good album even better. There are many times that I bought a cd that I didn't have a clue about it only cause the cover spoke to my heart. There are many bad albums that I gave many-many tries to like them only because the cover tell me to do it Also the cover of the album plays an important role when it comes to the synaesthesia colour/s the music gives to me. And some of my favorite albums are so connected with their covers that it's impossible to separate them. Every time I listen to a track from IFO the colours and shapes of the cover pop in my head. I can't help it! So plz to all the labels out there plz stick to the good covers and most importantly plz try to match the style of the cover with the style of the music. I wouldn't like to see IFO with a black and white cover, Orchid with a vampire-themed cover or a Kindzadza album with a naked chick on it.
  12. The Cell Lost Highway Tideland Altered States Blueberry Xtro and many, many strange b-movies
  13. I haven't bought it yet, but like my daddy used to say ''It's Timecode. It's good''.
  14. Yep, that's it. I listen to my tracks many times for mixing purposes. My older tracks didn't translate well in different sound systems and I'm trying to fix this. So I listen to my tracks with my headphones and then again with my speakers and then again with my earphones, trying to find the ideal balance.
  15. The main reason I give up, is that I end up in a point where I'm not interest in it anymore. I try to fix the problem with a major chance, something that will motivate me to go on and finish it. Then I change another thing and another and soon realize that it's better to start something new as long my enthusiasm is strong.
  16. I have the Insight album. It's good, but a bit generic IMO. But back then most of the full on was generic. The track Beyond Time is very good though. I haven't listened anything else from them since then, but I'd love to.
  17. +1 I love Sky Input soooo much that everything after that sounds weak in comparison. Some thoughts about Daze Of Our Lives. This album is awesome. It's amazing, maximal, psychedelic, colorful, mad, energetic, melodic, ecstatic, it has everything. I have to say that this is the perfect example of New School Goa. I said in the past that Sky Input was old school. Well Daze is New School. It takes everything we loved in the old Goa days and evolves it for the 21th century. Plus this is the essential Psychedelic Goa Trance album, where Goa meets Psytrance IMO. Pretty much just like Pleiadians did some years back. It's totally great that Jannis kept the madness, the layermania, the multi melodic theme and added more storytelling and SUPERB liquid-chorus basslines. Plus the production and the mastering is awesome. One thing though. Just like Heliopolis the melodies are a bit more forgetable than Sky Input. In Sky Input each track has at least three melodies that instantly stick to the mind. Epic melodies. In Daze the melodies are somehow simpler. Overall this album deserves nothing less than 10/10. And like Penzoline said if for the next album Jannis combine the best from the Sky Input era, with the best from the Daze era we'll have the best album in history.
  18. Fifth track in a row I worked for almost a month that I decided to abandon. I couldn't find the Eureka moment to go on. A sixth attempt has already begun *sigh*
