  1. SubtractiveLAD-Apparatus Best non psy related ambient of 2008. Amazing music!
  2. Yep, I know that! And man I'm jealous that you have already listen to the new Tickets. I'm still waiting for it. Is it really that good?
  3. Cool thanks! I wait for a new pile of cds including Crop Circles and more, so it's 100% sure that I'm gonna change my results

  5. Oh damn you're right! But it was first released on physical format (cd) in The Shamanisma compilation. I cheated, I know
  6. Oh, I didn't know that guide was so old. Then it's pretty good for that time, I agree. But it needs an update immediately!
  7. This is one of the best tracks ever, but actually it was first released back in 1998 (Forest Of The Saints compilation).
  8. That's because in my ears Talamasca sounds really different than CPU and Absolum. While Lestat was always more on the melodic side of things CPU (well the early CPU) and Absolum are pure dancefloor smashers.
  9. ha that's true I'm a psy sucker, can't help it.
  10. That guide is ok, but it has many mistakes IMO. At least in the trance scene where I'm more familiar with. First of all he confused many styles. Second many tracks are not in the correct section. (The epic trance list a complete fail) and third it seems that he makes genres from his mind. What the hell is buttrock Goa? Actually the whole Psy/Goa section is a complete mess. ManMadeMan IS Goa and the same with Pleiadians-Jungle Track. And the Psy-Tekk section is totally fucked up. IMO it's a good effort, but one person alone can't make a full list. Simply because you can't be an expert to everything. And BTW judging by his comments Ishkur must have the worst taste in Trance.
  11. Well it's 2009! I think it's time for the 'best tracks of 2008 topic' like every year. I still miss many 2008 releases most importantly Crop Circles (which I count as a 2008 release), but these are my top 2008 tracks so far. In random order: Goa: Hi Phuk-High On Wire (Agnet's Phoorgoa rmx) Afgin-From The Heart Afgin-Light Up In The Darkness The Muses Rapt-The Fool Alienapia-Secret Symbols Subra-Enchanter Of The Dunes Filteria-Back To Earth Filteria-The Snail Keeps Crawling... 12. It's simple. If you like the CPU's debut album then you MUST check Absolum-Inside The Sphere Also check out other 3D Vision releases of the same period (2004-2006) they are very good. Now If you like aggressive and serious full on, you have to move to the South African scene if you have't already. Check anything by Timecode and Nexus Media records for the start. BTW CPU (Samy Guediche) has released 4 albums: Central Processing Unit, Computer Error, Discodelic and Eat It. The first one like I said is absolutely amazing. The second is acceptable and the last two way too cheesy and clubby.
  13. Happy new year to all! I was ready for my new year's eve party with Man With No Name, Wizzy Noise and Rinkadink, but all the transportation stopped after midnight, so I stuck in home
  14. If the original is the one I have (which now I'm sure it is) then YES! This track is the definition of the whole Psy scene!
  15. This is one of the best psytrance albums ever released IMO, but unfortunately it has nothing to do with todays CPU tracks.
  16. V/A - Sharp V/A - Igra Drijada Capsula - Synthesis Of Reality Ollie Olsen - Emptiness Juno Reactor - Beyond The Infinite The great stuff are coming next week (Osom comp, new Furious, Tickets, Phatmatix, Crop Cirlces)
  17. Yep, CPC has left Osom, but the project still rocks. I have to buy this cd!!!!
  18. No. Just because both genres started by House doesn't mean that are the same. It's like saying Goa is acid techno.
  19. I have only one track by him and it's really mediocre. Maybe he has improved. I'd like to know too.
  20. 3 AFAIK originally Talamasca were Lestat, Steve Eli and Javier De Galloy. Ok not Goa, but which super project consisted by oCeLoT+Dejan+Dylalien+Mubali+Quasar+Alien Mental+Entropy?
  21. You're in the thank you list of Tetrahedron? Haha cult status reached for that release!
  22. The biggest question of all! Techno or Trance? First of all when I mean techno and trance I don't mean exclusively the classic techno and trance scenes. I mean the overall styles of these genres that can be present in any other dance genre. For example Psychedelic Trance and Psychedelic Techno etc. Second I didn't add a 'both' choice for obvious reasons. I guess 90% of the members here like both of them, but the question is which one you prefer the most? I voted for Trance. I love Techno and it was my first electronic love. I love the intensity and the hard feeling of Techno music. The rhythm, the driven power. But for me Trance was always much more trippy. More colourful. The fact that I'm a melody lover helped my choice. An ideal track for me would be one that combine the best of both genres, but if I have to choose one then is Trance.
  23. Ormion

    Yahel - Xport

Actually the main melody in both Yahel and 1200 Mics tracks is taken from the Iron Maiden-Fear Of The Dark song.
  24. None. More crazy yes, more experimental yes, more psychedelic none.
