I still can't figure out who are the fucker/s that hacked Psynews. I'm trying to remember banned members that have the knowledge to hack a site and I can't think of anyone.
I don't like the situation when the hidden track is great. So the only way to listen to it individually is to fast forward the last track.
For example the hidden track in CBL-World Of Sleepers. I's my favorite track of the album so I needed to cut the wav file myself.
Safi Connection's early tracks (2002-2003) were horribly boring.
The next 2-3 years he produced some of the best full on ever created with super melodies and driving power. Tracks like Give Me Gitara<-Awesome!
And now he produces shit? I refuse to believe it.
Really?
I loved Timelapse In Mercury. It's not better than Orchid, but after all it's a totally different style IMO.
But I didn't hear any annoying sound in it.
There's a cool feature in similar to Psynews sites.
It's the Today's Birthday feature.
I think it's gonna be cool to have it.
Come on, even 48hrs has it!
Hypnotic artists (Bypass Unit, Psygone, Abnormal etc.) have a dozen of eastern influened Goa tracks.
Check them out.
Plus Shamanic Tribes On Acid has a lot of eastern melodies, but his style is love or hate.
To be honest I find the overall sound quality of most of today's Psytrance releases simply great compared to the budget of the procuction/mastering.
Of course there are expections. but it's really amazing that some albums that have been made in home studio can sound so great compared to mainstream ultra-high budget music.
Even most amazing is that psytrance is a multi-layered music and still can sound amazing.
Check out for example Furious both albums. The sound quality is flawless!
I haven't heard anything in mainstream music that comes even close.
Check out The Nommos-Primal Meltdown and Artifakt-The Magus and how superb the mastering is.
Not everything sounds bad in Psy scene. I actually believe that the majority sounds more than good, keeping in mind the low budget.
Maybe I'm wrong, but I like what I hear (quality-wise).
I really don't have anything against you radi, but it wasn't very smart that you posted your tracks in the general forum and asking not to be removed.
Dozens of Psynews members produce music and ALL of them post their tracks in the music promotion area.
Emmm.....What?
