Psyfactor-Endless Universe Unstable Elements-Technical Illusion from 2006 both.

What's your favorite traditional song from your country? My absolute fav is this Giannis Markopoulos-Who pays the ferryman DiViNe mUsIc!!! Dload it and listen to it! Trust me it's aweeesome!
-
Bad quality, though
-
Actually he did. He was ready to release the second album called Organique, but Hypnotic teared the album apart and released the tracks in several compilations using different artist names. No wonder why he left the scene.

It just can't!!! I know I've made many threads about Psygone before, but this guy deserves all the hype. We must have an ''Official Psygone appreciation topic''. This year is the 10 years anniversary of Optimystique and this album can't get old!!! It's the epitomy of energetic music of any kind. It's an experiment on human's resistance to dance. And this experiment always works As hard as you try, you can't stop yourself dancing with Psygone's music. It is and will be the most ''dance like nobody watching'' album ever! Everyone must listen to this monster, old school lovers and new listeners. Let's hype this album as hard as we can. It is a diamond known to such a few ppl. And if Mikael is reading this thread, please-o-please bring us the new Psygone stuff as you promised. Show them how is done man! Now Goa lovers let's all shout: PSYYYYYGOOOONEEEEE!!!!! This thread was written by user Ormion while listening for third time in a row the Optimystique album.

Who says that Dak Psy can't be spiritual? Derango, The Nommos are perfect example of Ritual Psy. And compared to Full On or Progressive Dark Psy is definitely more spiritual. Yes it can! Nothing, nothing, just nothing in the whole world is gayer than a cover with high heels shoes. What the fuck were those guys thinking?

If you're talking about Greek Nitzhonot aka upilifting (my ass) Trance, then only Cyan have some good tracks. The rest is a huge pile of BullSHIT!!! Especially stay away from Cherouvim (totally disgusting)!!!
-
Haha That's true!
-
I'm almost as hairy as he is but I don't play the flute. That was close, though

Get ready... ...

Since eveyone is posting random covers, here's my turn: Sorry if they had been posted before:

Actually is Terranoise. But still the cover sucks.

I don't have the new Broken Toy nor the previous one. I like his music a lot though, maybe I have to check it out. This period I just can't stop listening to Frozen Ghost-Edible Technique. It's ultra-phat South African madness with totally awesome final melodic lines, both super aggressive and groovy. The last track (Edible Technique) is the closest to MFG's Metamorphosis (in a 2007 sound of course) I can imagine. Check out the samples here: http://www.saikosounds.com/english/show_ar...?artist_id=4469 There's also an artist that he's style is very close to the Multistate sound: Hiyarant. Check his tracks too.

Project A is really different that Inside Information. It was darker, more aggresive, less groovy and no melodic. I guess you'll enjoy Inside Information much more although it's not as good as Multistate. But seriously you have to check Lost And Found's last tracks! He's geting better and better!
-
Multistate are Xatrik and Lost And Found. It's full on yes, but it's South African full on. And you can't compare SA full on with the rest of full on shit. Great act, great album.
-
Agree! This album is what Full On is all about or to be more specific what South African full on is all about. It's hard, it's grrovy, it's serious, it's metallic, it's melodic, it's psytechno, it's psytrance! I wouldn't call it a masterpiece, but it's a perfect example of how to make good Psytrance today. I love all the tracks but my fav is Nefarious!!! BTW Otto, since you loved this album you must check everything by Xatrik and Lost And Found (=Multistate) Check out the new Timecode compilation Future Cuts since it's been compiled by Multistate.

That's a double-sided situation. One side is that is much easier to create music with software only, so YES it's really easy to everyone non talented musician(?) to create a crappy track. The other side is that working only or mostly with hardware is really difficult, it needs experience and money and many many guys with plenty of talent that couldn't for some reason to work with hardware now in the software era can finally create their great music!
-
That's right Insejn! I never believed that I would hear full female singing over a clubby bass in a Hydraglyph track!
-
Anything from Timecode and Nexus Media (except the new Hydraglyph which is a dissapointment). Anything from Ketuh and Spectral records. 3D Vision older stuff and some new ones. And check out Tryambaka!!! He hasn't an album yet but all his tracks are I really like Spieces too. Very unique style IMO.
-
I'm gonna say somethnig that will sound extremelly cliche even stupid to some ppl, but for me is 100% true. Psytrance has expanded my mind. And yes, this is a life changing experience.
-
Is Psy Trance really psychedelic? (anymore?)
Ormion replied to filthysock's topic in General Psytrance
Since what is psychedelic and what is not is a subjective thing then I would answer both yes and no. For example new artists like Derango can be extremelly psychedelic to some but non psychedelic at all to others. Or something minimal can be psychedelic to minimal lovers but non psychedelic to the rest. IMO there's plenty pure psychedelic tracks in Psytrance scene today, as well artists that are not psychedelic at all. But who is waht is always something subjective. BTW now playing oCeLoT-Bananas, is 100% psychedelic for me, but maybe not for some other guy. -
I guess these artists will be perfect for you: UX Slide Cydonia Darshan ManMademan (old stuff) Tim Schudt Orichalcum & The Deviant Dark Soho (old stuff) Sandman
