Thanks a lot guys! BTW I agree with Anoebis. Out There is the best track of Ofer and one of the best ever!

Here's a question I wanted to ask like for ever. Ofer Dikovsky has two tracks with his Solaris project called Out There. Although the name is the same, the tracks are different. They're both 100% sure Ofer tracks since they both have the classic Ofer's style. The first one (the most aggressive) is in the Astral Trance trip 2 comp. The other is in the Voyage Into Trance Vol.4-Atomic. Anyone has any idea what happened there? Is it a tracklist mistake? And if it is which one is the true Out There and what's the name of the other one?

BIRTH REBORN FROM THE VOID LIFE IN A BOX WALK OF DEATH HALLUCINOGENIUS VORTEX OF VIBRATIONS

Some tracks are superb, some other very good and some other just good. Since it's a Shift's album my hopes were too high but this album didn't let me down. Still it's not even close to the masterpiece Excession. Best tracks are Decadence, Pump and of course Dead Meat Part II...this one is from another galaxy!!!

Ok, first of all this album has the best production/mastering ever! Second the album is great! Lev's music is much more mature than it used to be. Some years ago he just cared for the power but now his music is much more experimental. Although it's not a masterpiece nor better that Psykovsky's Debut or Osom tracks is awesome psychedelic music. Weird music for weird ppl. Rating coming soon. BTW Shivaya Voda's last melody is great! Oh... and we need AN OSOM ALBUM!!!

Hey! I know that! (Just don't ask me why I didn't do it)

Four Carry Nuts-Pendulum. And I think there's a dark track with the same sample but I can't remember it. But if your track is a melodic one then it's definitely Four Carry Nuts.

Cool Anoebis! 1050 Psy cds? Oh, I'm so jealous...

Chemical Brothers used to be great. Actually they were one of my non-psy fav groups. Tracks like Elektrobank, Dig Yor Own Hole,Block Rockin Beats,Hey Boy Hey Girl, Private Psychedelic Reel are classics but today they suck soooo much... They totally lost it. Mainstream clubby stuff. Galvanize is pure shit! IMO

Nice album! Suomi crazy stuff (but Sienis is Swedish, right?) Experimental, forest in a faitytale way and crazy! Best track Phinary(!),Sum=Thing,Digital Dealer and Me Against Myself, but the rest are good too. BTW this must be the only album that the bassline plays the main melody. 8/10

Although it's not a masterpiece is damn good! It's colorful, psychedelic, peaceful, kinda spacey and with some good melodies. Also every track has its own character which is great. But if there's a reason to buy this album is th Villa Ghee People track. OMG! The melodies remind me the old Doof or somethnig, superb trance feeling. Actually if the leads were louder it would be one my best tracks ever!

Talamasca used to be a God. Then he became an average human. Now he's a... worm! Discusting cover, crappy music.

The hottest chick in Psy scene is Chrysalis from Trishula records. The hottest man? Well, according to the US Cosmopolitan Skazi is in the top 100 sexiest persons list.

Anything from Timecode and Nexus Media records.

I'm sure it will be great although I don't except something that come close to Excession. That album was one of the best in Psytrance history! Still his last tracks in several compilations (Dead Meat,Cerebral Cortex rmx,Pump) are absolutely amazing so... Bring it on Chris!
-
According to the link this album will be back to the original harder Shift style, so don't worry. After all both the masterpiece Excession and Byte Me were more alternative than the usual SA sound and that's why Chris released them under the Crystal Matrix label.

Yeah, Of course the quality is not the same. After all nothing can match a good complex Goa melody, but still I believe that the melodies are starting to become more and more complicated. We'll see... Thanks for the avatar. Big C' loves kids!

Is it just me or the melodies are back in Psytrance? Especially in 2007 I think that the melodies are more than ever (except of course the Goa period 94-99) Psytrance had gone realy minimalistic from 2000 to 2002 then in 2004 the melodies came back and now they're here again! And I'm talking about all the kinds of Psy. Full On, Progressive, Freestyle, Goa even Dark Psy is much more melodic that it used to be. Ok, some melodies are more clubby, some others simpler while others more epic, but I definitely believe that the Psytrance artists are discovering the melodies again. Especially the old masters of the scene although their music now can't stand against their old Goa tracks, they are more melodic than the past 5 years. For example Pleiadians. Ok, Seven Sisters sucks if you compare it with IFO or FOL but at least it has melodies! Do you remember the tracks Etnica wrote some years ago? (Nitrox album for example). Is it only my idea? NP:Rabdom L-Black Hole (six lead goa-ish melodies)

Thanks a lot guys! You made my day

There is a new style out there. It's just like the usual mad, dark, twisted Psy but faster...Well a lot faster. Compilations like Morthor Spede or Distinctions and artists like Gorump Peyya or Infect Insect. So the question is simple. What do you think about it? Personally I always like extreme, twisted, uberpsychedelic music and yes fast as well, but... I hate to say that they're always limits cause I believe there're not. The problem is not that these artists go beyond the usual limits of Psy bpm (135 to 160), the problem that in that speed the music is simply not good! To enjoy a track I have to synchronize my mind to it. The track can be 138 bpm, 140, 145, 150 even 155 or 160. After all many of the Goa anthems are really-really fast (Hallucinogen-Space Pussy anyone?) but when the track is around 165,170 or 180 bpm then the whole ''synchronization'' simply vanishes. After all it's not only the bpm. This kind of tracks have a furious bassline as well and fast noises instead of a steady melody so the problem gets bigger. The funny thing is that many of these track would be good if there were slower. The Morax track is the Morthor Spede comp has a gothic feeling but the 190 bpm make the track more funny than good. (It's like listening a normal track in double speed, it's always funny). The SEKT track in the same comp is damn good and I'm thinking that if it was 10-15 bmp slower it would be superb. I think that many of these artists believe that when a track is faster it's also sicker or harder, which is WRONG! Psyovsky and Osom are muck more sick and twisted without being extremelly fast. So what do you think?

Here is my new track called Quantum Morning. It's psychedelic and fully melodic with influences from Goa and modern Psy as well. I tried to create melodies that give a nostalgic feeling of the old good days. I think it has an ok production (well for an amateur artist). Here is the link: Exelization-Quantum Morning (Scroll down a bit and you see the link next to a red flashing arrow). Hope you like it. Thanks in advance!
