Which are the releases with the best mastering according to you? I believe Furious-Not For Fame has the best mastering ever in every music kind!!! You can't believe how clear it sounds, I mean the term 'crystal sound' is not even close to describe it! Another releases with unbelievable mastering: The Nommos-Primal Meltdown Multistate-Collaborating With Machines I must mention Distance To Goa 4, too. Yeah, I know it's a 1996 release but for its time it had THE mastering!

Ganesha Pramana, really? I'm listening to this track a lot lately and haven't notice it! Also GOW have a track with a crow sample.

Synaesthesia sound to visual: Does anyone else besides me have it?
Ormion replied to tone's topic in General Psytrance
It's impossible for me to listen to music and especially to Psy and not 'see' colors or shapes. Actually one of the things that Psy is the best is that is sooo colorful. For example right now I'm listening a Zion Linguist track. It's definitely a green track with some black lines and some dark orange spots! The previous I've listened was a Gappeq one: Pink with grey curtains and silver water! I love synaesthesia!!! -
Let's gather here all the tracks we know with animals samples: Elysium-Trancelestial Psychobabas (Wolves) [There is also a Parasense track with wolves but I don't know the title] Chakra & Edi Mis-X-Files (Monkeys) California Sunshine-Summer 89 (Dolphins) [Actually almost every CS track but I think Summer 89 was the first one] Withcraft-Whale (Whales) Psygone-Spirit Of The Jungle (Elephants) Tim Schuldt-Red Hair Hospital (Cats) [There is also another one amazing track with cats sounds but after so many years and I'm still looking for its title ) Phyx-Hounds Of Hell (Dogs) And many ambient tracks with Birds. I can't remember any more, can you?

Simply amazing!!! Even if you hate this kind of Psy it's impossible not to be surprised by the amount of quality this release has. It seems that Gil and Ariane worked for months for each track! No kidding, this is a piece of hard work! The music is different too, it's not the typical dark psy. It's forest and alien at the same time, filled with amazing effects and weird sounds all the time. It's mean, pure dark and evil but also extremelly trippy. It's perfect for outdoor parties but you have to listen to it using your headphones too. One of the best modern dark albums together with Derango, Psykovsky and Mubali. SERIOUS DARK PSY!!! Goa Gil congratulations!

10/10 Simple as that... All tracks are absolutely amazing but Anahata is THE mind expanding track and Flamycogire..... Best bassline ever!!!!!!!!!

New Filteria stuff and new K.O.B. Directions
Ormion replied to Filteria's topic in General Psytrance
Do I have to say something now? Oh I found it AWESOME!!!!! -
I love the previous OOOD album Breathing Space but this one not that much. It's very different, completelly freestyle and funny but most of the tracks sounds boring to my ears. Thanh God there are two amazing tracks in here. The first one is Eye Of The Beholder with all these old school elements. I wish it was a bit faster. The second one is Free Range. What a happy track is that! The last two minutes are so optimistic and beautiful! I can't stop listen to it! Awesome!!!!

Dance With Me It's kinda cheesy and nothing new. Too bad for both Pleiadians and Arkanoydz. I Believe The best track of the album IMO. The melodies have this ''green liquid'' Etnica sound although they remind me a lot of the Talamasca-Time Simulation. Unfortunately the last minutes are just kick and bass! They fell asleep? Maybe Atlas Just like the I Believe track but opposite. In this one the first half is boring bass+kick but thank God the leading melody is very catchy. A remix by the old Pleiadians would be great Galactic What the hell is that?! Boooooring typical full on. Starbase 11 Some nice 303 style sounds a lot of old school feeling, good track nothing outstanding. Vimana Part 2 How they dare to name this track like that when it has NOTHING to do with their ultra-masterpiece Vimana? The track is good for the full on sound but again nothing special. Condition: Critical I've listened to this track over 10 times and still can't remember how it sounds exactly. Go figure. War Of The Worlds The same with Condition: Critical. Out Of Time A lot of nostalgia and nice sounds but too ''easy'' if tou compare it with the old Pleiadians stuff. It needs more melodies, climaxes and power. Overall As a full on album 7 maybe 7.5/10 (thanks to tracks 2 & 3) As a Pleiadians album -100/10

Just like the in-cover says: Morning Melodic Fusion Trance. And that's it. It sounds like a slower crazy full on, the quality is presented in every track and I can listen the hard work of Aaron in every track but like the previous guys said it doesn't stick to your mind. It's very good but it needs something more. 8/10 for the concept 7-7.5/10 for the music

This is definitely the WORST ambient comp of 2006. There are only two great tracks here. The first one is the Ochre track which is simply great, atmospheric, beatless and very relaxing and yes experimental. The second one is the Electrypnose track that combines classic ambient patterns with darker melodies and a gothic touch. Unfortunately the rest of the comp is ranged from mediocre to bad. The Gel-Sol track is good but nothing special but the rest... If you like dub or IDM maybe you should check it out but all I here is artists trying to make complicated beats and sophisticated drumming over boring basses. It's experimental? yes! It's different? yes! But that means is good? No! Ambient is mostly about emotions and most of tracks here lack of emotions. Actually some tracks have so annoying drumming that can't stand them. Especially the Nalepa track must be one of the worst tracks ever listened in my entire life of any music kind! I think Celestial Dragon must stick to the style of its previous release ''Portal Of Perception'', that was true ambient. Overall 4/10 10/10 for the Ochre track 9/10 for Vin's track.

Thanks!

This is a very-very good cd, a perfect combination of goa with acid full on. It's not that good as Shapeshifter but it has great tracks. Best of all The Acid Test. AMAZING!!!!! 8/10

This release is bad IMO. It has only two great tracks: Tribal Maker which is more Tiesto style than Psy but it's damn good and the Zorba track that again is a bit trancey but darker and very good! Unfortunately the rest of the tracks are mediocre or bad. Yahel's rmx to S Is Here is awful! 5/10 thanks to the two great tracks
-
When I first bought this one it sounded cool, but after all these full on tracks today sounds too typical. It has its moments and soem tracks are cool but nothing outstanding. Mind Refund and The Power Plant are very good! 7/10
-
Totally overrated release IMO. Morning cheesy ful on and nothing more, but I guess it's a hit because it was one of the first of its kind. The only track I enjoy is Ecstasy which is more trancey than psychedelic but nice one. 6/10 maybe less
-
Nice selection of tracks here. Not all of them are great but Jaws and Medieval Times are totally awesome! The first one has some of the wildest 303 and the second one a final melody that sticks to your mind. 7.5/10
-
Good album but not what we expected by AP. I guess it sounds too clubby, without these epic melodies or the climaxes. Some of the tracks are much more minimal than the old AP sound and some other mediocre copies of their old style. Still it has nice moments, some tracks are great (Nexus, Chaos, 1000000 Years...) but not even close to the old stuff. 7.5/10

That's awesome dude!!! Great work with the shadows!
-
Both the original and Jannis' remix are excellent. Maximal Goa 4 ever!!!!!
-
I was never a big fan of this one. Yes, it's really psychedelic some times and I can understand that back in 1997 sounded different but I don't think it's somethung more than a good album. Best track is Where Are you? 7/10
-
Although it's the most cliche AP album (except Flying Into A Star) it's real classic! Fav tracks: Cosmic Ascencion, Soundform and No One Ever Dreams. The rest are awesome too, not big fan of Ambient Galaxy though. 10/10

This is an amazing compilation a definitely must have! It's my favorite DG comp! Some ultra classics in here: Lunar Civilization, Gnocchi, Visually Distorted, Snakey Shaker, Inspiration, Trancelestial Psychobabas and many more cool tracks! 9.5/10
