Death of the consciousness is the most possible explanation, but at the same time the scariest one. The idea that everything that makes a man: ideas, thoughts, emotions, personality all gone forever is terrifying. Of course the dead would never know, but it's terrifying for those who live. The idea that their loves ones are nothing more than dust. Physically and mentally erased. Brr... I want to believe that once something exists it will always exist consciousness included.

I have one track like that. It's Hybernation-Planet Oth. I have no youtube video, but there's rattle sound that seems that it's coming from behind. I remember when I first listened to it I thought that someone came into the room.

AFAIK Future Prophecy used to write a lot of tribute tracks especially X-Dream ones. Maybe they did the same with Spiritual Healing?

Oh you're right. Silent Enemy is psycore for me, Silent Horror is darkpsy. IMO Enemy is more aggresive and horror influenced than normal darkpsy. And iirc his albums Diabolic has some pretty fast tracks as well.

I rewatched it on blu-ray. This is definitely one of the best action films ever made. You should watch the extras as well. Everything is practical and I mean everything. They only removed the wires in post production and add some digital backgrounds like the storm. The stunts are mental. Batshit insane.

Even by this definition I think Silent Horror is pure Darkpsy. If anything he's the epitome of classic Darkpsy. edit: scratch that. I confused the "Silent" artists.

I never understood what's the big deal with Atriohm or Encephalopaticys. Ppl mention them all the time as great examples of darkpsy/forest, but IMO they're pretty boring. What you say makes sense, but I doubt the more someone listens to a track the more he likes it. If anything I would argue that the more you listen to something the more you'll get tired of it. In the Sideffect contest we had 11 tracks since day one, but iirc only one of them won. Plus soundcloud has no option of private groups.
