Yeah, you spell it ok, but I don't get what you mean with a 'milestone album'? A very important album?

Forget spirituality. Forget melodies Forget story-telling for a while and let's speak about pure super aggressive tracks. Not just hard or powerful but mean stuff. Recommend me some. Goa, full on, dark, everything you want. Here is a selection I've made to give you a clue: ManMadeMan-Drama Twisted System-Disrespekt Shift-The Face OSOM-Over Game Highko and Naked Tourist-Divine Blast Christof & DJ Mael-KLM Manic-Meltdown CPU-Shot, Shot Voila KinDzaDza-Kamakazi Lemurians-Take Off To The Cosmos (Shift remix) Xatrik-Particle Flux Somaton-Fearful Symmetry Neuromotor-Fuck The DAT Mafia Trance XP... to name a few. I need more!!!

Here is a question I asked before in many forums but still haven't a clear answer. The problem is: I have a copy of Cubase SX and a P4 2.8G and 256 RAM. I start a new project and everything works fine till I add a new VST instrument. Then half of the times the Cubase ''freezes'' and crashed down. To solve the problem I have to save the project, exit cubase and reboot my PC. Then I load my project again and everything works fine including the new VST I just added. This happens as I said in half of the times I'm adding a plug-in. Things are worst when I add an audio file. I import an audio file (small or large, doesn't matter) and the cusabe's crashed down again. I do the same thing save-exit-reboot-load but sometimes then the project works with serious problems like random play of the various tracks etc. So I wonder. I have these problems because of the low RAM I use or the copy I gahve is a bad one? I don't think it's a CPU problem, right? I mean, I have 2.8 Ghz processor. I need more? Plz help me. Some gus told me it's a RAM problem, while others that the copy ain't good. Any ideas?

Early Shift, old Damage and Cipher compilation exciting? I still remember the very first track ever listened from Shift: Insane-boooring!!! Cipher is definately the worst comp from Timecode. It's good but nothing to do with the later stuff. They haven't changed the formula since then? What Shift's new album has anything to do with his first tracks? What the power more melodic and colorful Psy they produce today has anything to do with the scratchy, techno, almost boring stuff of 2002-2003. I see a huuuuuge difference and the most important they still powerful (actually even more) and not cheesy at all! Don't want to start a war though

Psygone-Optimystique, need to say more?

The thing I love most of them are the basslines and the fat sounds. They use the real full on basslines. Agressive is the key word. As for the fat percussion.. finally some artists that use blasting snares and loud hi-hats instead of minimalistic boom, psi, boom, psi

No Nexus Media but Timecode. Twisted System coming at ya! One word: Maximal

Just wait until Feb 3.

Different sounds in the same MIDI track
Ormion replied to Ormion's topic in Music Making and Production/Industry
I actually have bigger problems with RAM when I use audio files! I only use 256 RAM and when I add more that two audio tracks it crashed down, dunno why actually Anyway thanks for the Send info, didn't know that -
Different sounds in the same MIDI track

Yes Cubase, actually I want to make a crazy track with many fx etc. but I have problems with the RAM when adding many MIDI tracks. -
DAMN!!!!!! I'm in a net-cafe with no headphones! I was waiting for this album like a madman, I have to listen to them right now!
-
Ok, maybe this sound a bit silly but I always wondered. Can use two differents sound-patches from a VST instrument in the same MIDI track? I know there is always the program change parameter but it's a bit annoying. Example: let's say I wanna use 20 different sounds in track using only VST instruments. I need to have one MIDI track for each sound?

the paranormal attack cover is definately one of the worst EVER!!!

This one has the worst comments in the old reviews database than any cd. But the rating in discogs is ok. Weird, huh?

There is only one game with pure psy-trance music and this is the first Extreme-G in N64. But not all the tracks! Actually there was one track in this game which was one of the best stuff ever listened! The rest of the futurustic racing games have not any psy music, but music related a bit to psy like pure trance or crazy techno with real drums. And about the Gran Turismo 4.... this is not Psy-trance. It's commercial club shit, even from Simon himself!

Nothing groundbreaking for the dark genre but still a very good release. The best track is definately from KinDzaDza. Better day by day. True psychedelia and blast off power. Highko and Naked Tourist track is a real bomb, fast, hard and incredibly agressive. Very good tracks from the rest, too. 8/10

11/10, one of the five best albums of all time. Κabalah, People Can Fly and Enlightened Evolution are ultra classic tracks. Nothing more to say: the classic! BTW who says that it has been released in 1995?

Man, Lunar Civilization remix!!! This sounds even better than the original. I'm gonna explode! Jesus Christ Jannis what have you done? A-W-E-S-O-M-E!!!
