It's funny that some guys bash Isratrance for the full on love while the first and third best album is progressive. Anyway my 2005 favs are very different
-
How can I add samples from movies in my track? I have to download them from a site or I need to get a program which rip the samples from the cds-dvds? (I don't think there is a program like this but who knows?)
-
I only bought twelve 2005 albums and the worst was Kailum-More Reflexions Of The World
-
Shift-Cerebral Cortex Shift-Toxic Shake Khetzal-Avasari Twisted System-Twisted Tiger Hydraglyph-System Critical
-
Pleiadians-IFO Infected Mushroom-The Gathering Filteria-Sky Input I have many more but I guess this is my top-3.

Nice album from Nystagmus! Nice melodies and real trippy style. The only problem with Immaculate Perception is that the tracks are not so psychedelic. Most of them have a bass, percusion and one-two melodic lines, definately not so psychedelic music. But this is still good. I also love the samples, they're very funny and weird. Best track IMO is Tommy Is Dead with a fantastic intro, warm melodies and a great sample story about a guy who died becuase of acid! I hope his second album to be a bit more crazy and it will be a blast, but Immaculate Perception is still very good. 8/10

Vote where? You voted for very good year, but you're ashamed to admit it!
-
No you don't! There's no vote in the average option. You liaaar!!!

Do you believe that me or anyone else here believes that ''newschool darkpsy'' is better than ''oldschool darkpsy''? You're in Psynews.org not Isratrance. But still there is pure dark psy in our days, too.
-
Is that ironic? Cause if it is then you didn't understand what I mean. The genre we call ''Dark Psy'' today is suitable only for the night times. That means is Night Psy=Dark Psy. Simple as that. Except if you know anyone who dance with this kind of music at the morning times.

Ishq-Orchid. A-m-a-z-i-n-g.

It is dark psy, but different from the old school years. I think it's a bit ridiculous to say that artists like KinDzaDza or Penta are not dark. The problem is that many ppl confuse the dark with the scary. Dark Psy means night Psy. Yeah, maybe KinDzaDza music ain't scary or intelligent (although this has nothing to do with the darkness in a track) but you just can't listen KinDzaDza in a morning. Also, many ppl believe that dark psy must be more minimalistic (like Midi Miliz or Hujaboy) which I find completely wrong, since many ''fx madness'' artists are really dark. Anyway I guess the best term for this kind of Psy is ''furious dark psy''.

So, what do you think? I vote for good year. It was definately much better than the crappy 2002 and 2003 but worst than 2004. Of course I don't have to mention the 1995-1999 years... there's no way to be better than these. The main problem with 2005 IMO was the surpises. I mean in 2004 we had Filteria, Misted Muppet, Talpa etc. but in 2005 we didn't have any big surprise. I also think that the winner-genre was the Dark, with very interesting compilations and albums (Derango,oCeLoT etc.)
-
How you know? It hasn't been released, right? Anyway, all of the compilations tracks I've heard from him are amazing, robotic fear. Weel yeah it is, but I care only for his music.
-
I definately gonna check this out. But if you're looking for the new bomb wait for DarkPsy's debut.
-
There are many quality and really dark projects out there. Acts like: Derango, OSOM, oCeLoT, Electrypnose, DarkPsy, Psykovsky, Scatterbrain, Xatrik, Dark Nebula, Savage Scream, Xenomorph, Naked Tourist and many more. Stick ine the good side of Psy, there is plenty of it.

Ok, I have to say something about the Avasari track. I wrote that it's amazing, but I lied. It's not just amazing, it's in unbelievable! I listened to it 17 times in a row! Definately one of the best ambient tracks ever heard in my life. Beatifully melancholic, nostalgic, trippy and emotional. Only for this track I have to raise my rating for the album to 8/10.

For a Ayia Nappa party on the beach compilation maybe, but for a Psy-Trance cd is absolutely crap!
-
56k modem so I can't wait to see them all. I don't know if the Corona album is one of the poll options but it's the worst!
