  1. TANDU-MULTIMOODS Phonokol 1997 TRACKLIST: 1. Alien Pump 2. The System 3. Naughty Moves 4. New Aura 5. Orca 6. Visually Distorted 7. Rodeo 8. Interstealer Dawn The ultra classic album from the Indoor ex-members Ofer Dikovsky and Marco Goren remains one of the best album in Psy history. Classic melodies, power and full energy in a time when Israeli Psy was unbelievable. Few words for the tracks: Alien Pump: One of the most popular Goa tracks! Fast with airy sounds and jumping melodies and one of the most effective build-up’s ever. It builds and builds and builds until it blasts you with the classic final melody. Kinda old-school full on (not to be confused with the todays meaning of the term). Sooper-dooper-classic!!! The System: A bit darker but still melodic, totally uplifting with an eastern touch (like the whole album) but not cheesy at all! The last minutes are very nostalgic and beautifully melancholic. Awesome! Naughty Moves: Simply one of the best tracks of all-time. Distorted kick, powerful bass, power and melodies from another world. Uplifting, energetic, maximal. The climax at the minute 7’ makes me go mad!!! The classic of the classics!!! New Aura: Slower track but incredibly beautiful. Emotional and deeply nostalgic, all together with smooth melodies and liquid sounds. Wonderful track! Orca: Again nostalgic track with strange sounds and happy melodies. Not a killer track, but a tune which will touch your heart. Love it! Visually Distorted: Get me the todays most killer track. Get me a track with a killer bassline, 150 bpm, non stop fx madness and crystal production. It hasn’t a chance against this! This is power stuff, no bullshit. So much energy, so much power and the of the most uplifting melody ever written! Sorry guys but this is the true KILLARGH!!!! Rodeo: Hard, epic, beautiful and psychedelic. A great track until the moment of 7’40’’, cause after that moment everything is history. An incredible 100% Dikovsky melody hits your ears and shock your mind. The beaty of this melody can’t be described with words….. Interstealer Dawn: Another great tune in the well known Ofer’s style. Not something superb, but still very good. Very energetic and uplifting again, the bassline is awesome. Overall? A MUST-HAVE for every music lover. An absolute masterpiece. An album that makes you wonder how Ofer produces such average tracks today. Fav: 1(!!!),2(!),3(!!!!!!!!!!),4,5,6(!!!!!!!!!!),7(!!!!!),8

    Khetzal - Corolle

Well... It's good but not that great as I excepted to be. I don't think it's very uplifting. I'd call it more trippy and smooth Goa than uplifting. I don't like this ''too much eastern'' feeling in it and I think the melodies are a bit simple. The best track is by far Avasari an A-M-A-Z-I-N-G ambient, one of the best I ever heard ! From the dance tracks I prefer Ganesha Pramana (the only real stomper of this album) Nyiragongo. It's a very good album but just like Ethereal is too ''floating'', without climaxes, build-up's or ecsatic melodies. 7/10
  3. Khetzal album track 3. So far nothing great, let's see...
  4. The ambient tracks are great but I didn't enjoy much the dance ones. Anyway nice album.
  5. Crap!!! Awful! and ladies and gentlemem I give you the worst cover in Psy-Trance history!!!
  6. Is it Psynews? Isratrance? Trance.net? I think that www.psyreviews.com is great. They guys there care only for good music of everything Psy-genre: Dark, Full On, Proggy, Ambient. I like it cause they review a release with clear mind and without the ''killargh cd'' or the ''another killargh cd'' comments. Although I disagree sometimes with them (Trojan comp. 5/10 wtf?) it's a very good review site. And btw check out their t-shirts good Bush, bad Bush
  7. Holy Night (KinDzaDza remix) Just kidding

    Digital Factory

DIGITAL FACTORY 3D Vision Compiled by Christof Drouillet Style: Full On Cover: Morawec.net TRACKLIST: 1. Absolum-Take Off V.2.0 2. Species-Get Your Groove On 3. Theoreme-Myauuu 4. Azax Syndrom-War Of The Worlds 5. Shift-Kamidogu 6. Wizzy Noise-3D 7. Sirius Isness-Sanctified 8. The 3 Mosketeers-Galactic Wisdom 9. Electric Universe-Shadow Wizzard This is the new compilation from the french label and get ready for some aggressive stuff, similar to the previous 3D releases. Just like the previous 3D compilation Killers Inc., this one opens by Absolum with the second version of the Take Off track. The original was a typical Absolum track, really nice but a bit slow (140 bpm). Version 2.0 is a bit faster, not insanely furious though and it has similar sounds and samples with the first version. The Absolum basslines together with the well known CPU sounds make this track a real dancefloor smasher. The main difference between this and the V.1 is the two new melodies, the first one around minute 3’30’’ which is a groovy line and happier than the usual Absolum stuff. The second melody is the final one, which hits you with an amazing climax. Since Absolum ain’t known for his climaxes, this is a good surprise. The last minute is really intense, but the melodic part could last longer. Very ggod track, definitely better than the original. Next come the Species from Serbia. This is more in the typical full on formula, but faster. The bassline is really groovy and fast, but nothing is happening in the first minutes besides the well know full on sounds and farts. Fortunatelly at minute 5’ we get a melody, simple but really nice and groovy and a nice climax. Too bad it’s the only melody in the track and you have to wait five minutes for it, but it’s a nice track and much better than the crap I thought I will listen. Nice one. Track 3 from Theoreme, a Japanese artist. Theoreme’s style is more 3d Vision-ish than the most of the artists here. It’s harder and more aggressive than the usual with nice melodic lines and really intense. If you liked his album, you will love this track for sure. The first minutes remind me a bit of his track ‘Nom’. Funny sounds and furious melodies combined together in full power, letting you wonder to smile or to dance. It’s not his best track and it’s a bit simple compared to other tracks by him, but it’s very good. Next is Azax Syndrom from Israel. Azax passed three stages during his Psy career so far. First he produced pure Dark Psy, then he went to aggressive-night Full On and his last tracks are more melodic and clubby Full On. Thank God he sticks in the power side of Full On. Th first minutes are pure Azax fx madness all the way with some simple melodies and the typical melodic climax around minute 5’. The melody is not something extraordinary and definitely not dark. Breaks, climaxes and pads for the last minutes and you got a nice track. It’s harder than the typical Israeli full on, more 3D Vision style, but it can’t be compared with his previous tracks. And time for full power from Chris Hoy. South African phat Psy! Powerfull basslines, fx madness to the max, phat snares and crystal production. The first minutes are more techno style, but after minute 4’ we get some melodic parts together with additional fast, melodic bass and power pads. After the climax the track explodes and getting more powerful and more and more! The last minute is pure psycho-chaos. Best track by far! Wizzy Noise, another group that change its style. From the dark tech-trance of 2001 to the pumping Full On of today. 3D is furious and really uplifting with an amazing minute (4’-5’) of pure euphoria and more screaming sounds after that. Full On to the bone, this is a pure Psy killer, ten times better from any Israeli fluffy Full On around. Kick-ass track. Next are Sirius Isness, one of the most popular melodic Full On acts today. The opening melody is 100% ethnic old school style, but the track is still Full On. Fast bassline and annoying samples and a screaming, kinda distorted melody. It’s a melody you’re going to love or hate. I like it, reminds a bit of the old days and it’s one of the most interesting Full On melodies I’ve listened in 2005. These guys have the talent, they like melodic Psy, but they have to evolve their sound, cuase they are typical full on. We want more madness and spirituality and more melodies, but it’s a good track, hard and uplifting. The 3 Mosketeers is a project of CPU and Inner Action. I used to love CPU back in 2003 but he has gone bananas IMO. The style of the track is too typical Inner Action… No imagination at all. Repetitive bass, annoying samples and lot of fx. It’s suppose to be powerful, but it’s not. Please Samy go to your previous style, we want your metalic, super-furious track, not this typical Full On formula. It’s not an awful track, but you have heard dozens of tracks similar to it. And last Boris Blenn. Full On again, furious and a bit more colorful. The good parts of this track is the wild 303’s (or something similar) and some melodies, but it’s again typical Israeli Full On. This has nothing to do with the old EU tracks. There is no spacey atmosphere here, no liquid basslines and it’s worst than the Cosmic Experience album. Typical track. So, if you’re looking for spirituality, ecsatic melodies or maximum psychedelia search somewhere else. This is full power for dancefloor smashing. I think it’s slightly better than Killers Inc., but much worst than The Sound Syndicate. Thanks to five very good tracks it deserves a 7.5/10 Fav:1,2,3,5(!),6,7
  9. Full On and Dark Psy have many common things, just like the speed and the furious basslines. But I disagree that Derango is full on or you must like full on to listen to Derango. The differences are much more than the common things. After all, many old school artists used fast basslines (Slide for example), are they full on? Also Derango are not typical Dark Psy. They're dark, cold, ritual, forest psychedelia.
  10. ehmmm... I'm talking about the autopan midi-effect which is included in Cubase SX. Is it a plug-in? Dunno really, I'm a beginner you see. The weird thing is that I managed to work with it once but it doesn't work now, so I don't know what I'm doing wrong.
  11. I hope to be similar style with the System Critical track than with the Urantia Rising tracks. System Critical is AMAZING!!! BTW guys, change the cover of the Corona album. It looks gay!
  12. Hehe, that's good news. I mean the rarity not the money I can gain from it, since I don't sell my cds.
  13. The basslines of Derango fit perfectly in their style! They are sick and fast. Also most of them are in a low volume which is perfect for Derango's style. Remember it's Derango, not KinDzaDza. It's forest Psy, not hard Russian style. Their basslines are perfect for the ritual music they want to create.
  14. Well it's not something extremelly good, but it's really nostalgic. I think some of the groups are Asia 2001 side projects.
  15. Maybe Psychotic Micro-Murder On The Dancefloor
  16. Absolum vs CPU-The Race and The Race (Pole Position mix).
  17. MFG have a Voices track. Check it out.
  18. Here's a new problem. The Autopan effect in Cubase doesn't work. I'm talking only for the pan parameter. I'm sure I made it work once but I can't anymore. All the automations buttons are active and the rest of the parameteres (expression for ex.) work fine. What I'm doing wrong?
  19. http://www.discogs.com/release/214156 I just bought it. I found it in a good price. It's a Transpact release from 1995. I just wonder: Is it a rare one?
  20. I have good news and bad news. Ok, let's start with the good news: Tsuyoshi Suzuki, one of the pioneers of Goa and the man behind the legendary group Prana (with Nick Taylor) is back in Psy! In case you didn't know, Tsuyoshi had left the genre back in 2000 and started to djing funky house music and produced experimental funky (and crappy I must add) housey Psy with the Joujouka project. But now Tsuyoshi is back in Psy with two compilations! Check them out: http://www.psyshop.com/shop/CDs/fbr/fbr1cd003.html and http://www.psyshop.com/shop/CDs/fbr/fbr1cd008.html Kailum, now is Dave Saragosi, an old school artist known mostly for his legendary track Karina together with Moshe Keinan aka Xerox. He released an album back in 2000, which I don't own but I know that it was intense and acidic goa. Now he's back with a new album! Check this out: http://www.psyshop.com/shop/CDs/bbi/bbi1cd009.html And now the bad news: As you can see from the tracklist the new Tsuyoshi compilation Psytrance Wizard Is Back is Israeli full on. Black & White, Electric Universe, Eskimo etc. Well, I don't have problems with full on genre generally but I hate Israeli full on! The other compilation is more weird and I don't know the style (and bored to listen to the samples) but Theoreme is full on (great full on,though). Now, the Kailum new album is pure crap. I bought it and I cry for my money. It's Israeli full on, a bit different than the usual style, but still boring, clubby, fluffy, uninspired and boring. It has nothing to do with his old tracks. So, they're back, but is this good? Do you think that one day, when the Israeli full on mania will be over to have great tracks from them again?

    Artifakt - Artifakt II

Maybe the most original and innovative album you can buy this year. A combination of South African hard full on with old school elements and breakbeat. Ultra-phat kicks, snares and hi-hats and fresh ideas. I still prefer Shift's album much more, but this is definately one of the best album of the year. 8.5-9/10
