Shift-Excession GREAT album, all tracks kick ass but Cerebral Cortex is un-be-lie-va-ble

I've made before threads about hard or crazy tracks but some new opinions are always welcome. I'm looking for intense Psy and I mean INTENSE You can suggest me tracks from dark to hard full on or goa, anything style you want but it must be intense, Psy to the limits! Here are some intense track I heard recently: Goa: Filteria-Domestic Modulator (melodic chaos) Dark: Vous Deux-Moonday (brain cells death) Hard Full On: Twisted System-Disrespekt (most intense track ever) Any recommendations?

Most of the tracks mentioned here have indian melodies not egyptian. But delars is 100% right here. Moulii Karaki is 100% egyptian track, one more is Sundog-Touch The Sun

Sure man and to be honest ,I don't believe that SA is the future. For me the FUTURE will be the kind of Psy that will be better than Old School-Goa and SA music ain't better than Goa. But with all these craps today is really nice to see that some ppl still release quality stuff and SA IMO are quality artists.

Do you know anyone? With samples from Videogames or melodic parts from a vg theme.

What I mean is this "Let's suppose that SA music is the future and you don't like SA style, is there anyway to agree that they are really the future?" @dmtree Are you sure? The first Shift track I listened was Insane back in 2002. UNINSPIRED! Just a bass and some fx, nothing more. Or Sternoptyx of 2003. Great track but compared to his today stuff sounds very simple. Today, Shift is more melodic but still powerful and chaotic.

Wrong. I have lot of cds with non-4/4 dance music and I still believe that the best for dancing is 4/4

I see that lot of ppl believe that the future of Psytrance will be a combination of Psy with Breaks or D'N'B, means not 4/4 kick.I disagree on that. I believe that good DANCE music will always be 4/4, cause it's the perfect way to move your body and trip with your mind. I'm not bashing Psy-break or something like that, I actually like some stuff from this genre, but I don't think that the future of Psy is a non 4/4 rhythm. Do you agree?

Nitzhonot is the kind of Trance with very cheesy oriental melodies, annoying zappy kick and hmm cheese! The best way to get it is to listen it, artists like:Holymen, Cherouvim, Star Children, Space Odyssey, Goldenfinger etc.

I think that Psy with over 150-152 bpm ain't that good, well except some experimental stuff. Of course there's no limit. I can make a 10.000.000 bpm track but what's the point?

Yeah get Broken. I can't say I love Psy-Breakbeat but you HAVE to listen to Shift-U Can't Say. Amazing!

Fucking amazing!!! I was excepted a great album but this is unfuckingbelievable! Why? Well it's 100% South African style, maximal Psy, power, super basslines, sharp production, chaos, but the most important melodies! Yes, it has melodies and very interesting melodies, I can say. Some of them actually are really goa-ish. For example the last melody in 10th Day is goa melody IMO, and the whole Moonchild track is a combination of Hard Full On with Goa-Full On. So, Excession is Goa? Of course not! But it has some goa elements IMO. After all, agree or not you can't say that it's a uninspired album. Much better than his first album Red Line. And this is why puzzle me when ppl say that SA artists used to be good but now are so so. Back then they were more techno, fx madness all the way but today the are still powerful but more melodic. Also, although all the tracks are 100% Shift-style each one of them is unique. Strech for example is morning and more melodic, Moonchild is spacey, Push It is brutal, Cosmic Cortex is....fractalish (sorry, can't find other word for it) and so on.... Overall 10/10, best album of 2005 so far, it proves why SA artists kick ass!!!!! +great cover, here it is
