Nice to see that there is another guy here that knows their music. Actually I don't have their album, I have listened some Magic Mushroom Band tracksand they're all Psy Rock with a little ambient. So, I guess that the Mushroom Band project is different from the Magic one

CPU-Computer Error 3D Vision 2005 TRACKLIST: 1.So It Begins 2.Computer Error 3.Skynet 4.Positronic 5.Third Planet 6.Deleted 7.Black Mamba 8.Last Nite 9.In The Future Second album from Samy Guediche aka CPU.After his amazing debut album (best album of 2003 IMO) I was expecting a great, hard metallic Full On release but no… I’m not going to make a track by track review cause most of the tracks are in the same style and similar.Unfortunately Samy decided to produce some more typical Full On stuff than his previous hard and insane style. All of the tracks are a combination of the typical metallic CPU style with Israeli Full On sounds.I believe that the new CPU sounds more like Sirius Isness,Flexable or Inner Action than CPU.All of the tracks are very noisy with non-stop crazy sounds but a bit unispired. There is no variation between the tracks especially the first five of them. Also the basslines are really simple and typical Full- Onish, too bad cause his first album had some aggressive -Absolum style-bass. So, what I miss from that cd?First-where is the super aggressive, hard and insane track like Down The Stairs?Second-where is the power and the maximal sounds of Virtual Flirt?Third-where is the beautiful melodies of Haight Street Freak? Where is the well known CPU insanity? Before I close, I’d like to mention one track.Last Nite is the funky track of this album and it has some of the best melodies but there’s a problem…a BIG problem. The sample from the well known track ‘Last Night A DJ Saved My Life’. And it’s not just a 5 seconds sample. I’m talking about singing here. I don’t believe this! CPU track with singing!!! Ok, it’s not like Hypersonic but man, Samy what were you thinking? Why??? Overall, still a good album and much, much better than most of the crappy Full On but nothing to do with his debut. 7.5/10 Best:2,3,7

ZEN 2-Out Of Time Déjà Vu 2004 TRACKLIST: 1.Krumelur-Kicks 2.KinDzaDza-May Day 3.Fungus Funk-High Feelings 4.N3xu5-Genki 5.OSOM-Over Game 6.Psykovsky-Wooden Child 7.Penta-Gone With The Wind 8.Psychotic Micro vs Toxic-Crucifiction 9.Damage-Can’t Stop 10.Suria-Earth In Trance Set Chapter two of the succesful release “Zen” and one of the big hits of 2004, this is a hard & dark compilation with some completely freaky tracks, including the instant classic dark anthem Over Game. Track 1 from Krumelur.Minimal but hard Psy,lot of farts, and darkness all the way.Not my cup of tea (I prefer more maximal style) but one of the best minimalistic stuff around IMO, especially for the Dark forest feeling in it. Nice one. Track 2 from the well known Russian producer KinDzaDza with a track called May Day. You can hear the KinDzaDza style from the beginning-evil bass, typical Russian mindkilling effects- but this track is a bit different from the most Lev’s tracks, especially the second half with an interesting insane and spooky melody. One of my favorites here. Russia again. This time for the other freak-Serghei Funk.Do you like his style? Then you gonna love this too.You don’t? Then this is not for you.Typical FF sounds but you never get bored of them, violent and dark of course with an industrial touch.Great. N3xu5(Nexus) is well known for some very interesting hard killers, but Genki ain’t something awesome.Nice bassline and perfect production, but this track is too simple for me.Good but nothing outstanding. Over Game. What can I say fot this one? I guess everybody knows that, right? This is maybe the hardest track ever made. The last two minutes are so intense…sorry but it’s impossible to describe it. SICK!!! Asilisa (or should I say Lev and Vasily?) thank you!!! And when you think it can’t be any weirder, Psykovsky throws you a Wooden Child and he’s driving you crazy. This is certainly the most weird stuff ever. The bass is sick, the bpm changes all the time, the sounds can bleed your ears and the atmosphere make this track slightly melancholic. Warning this track will make you look like the guy in my signature. Penta is next.Rolling bassline all the way, this is the trademark of this track (just like in every Penta track). Some simple but cool melodies and enough insanity but not something extraordinary.Nice one. Next are two big Israeli acts of the dark scene, Psychotic Micro and Toxic.I guess this is more PM style than Toxic.Anyway.Although this track fits perfectly in this comp, I expected something better. It’s not bad and it has a really spooky melody in the middle of the track but I was hoping for something even harder.Nice one again but certainly nothing groundbreaking. And time for some techno-groovy stuff.South African act Damage is here with their best track IMO.More Chemical Crew style but not cheesy at all.Nice percussion, raw beats and the most important-a bouncing melody from 5.22 till 6.30.Very good! Last but not least another Portuguese artist after N3xu5, Suria. I know what you’re thinking, what Suria do in this compilation? Well, Earth in trance set is a dark full on track with (Thank God!) no cheesy melodies here.Instead of cheese we have three great first minutes of pure psychedelia just before the melodies start. The last minutes really remind me Fractal Glider but in a darker way.More like this mister! Overall a must buy for the Dark lovers especially for the track Over Gamea must have! But there are more great moments in here! 8/10 Best:2,3,5( ),6( ),9,10 (plus great cover)

To be honest I didn't find it great. It's not bad but I think Parvati has released much better stuff. The problem with PY3 is that most of the tracks are in the same style especially the Meteloids and GOW side projects. Best track from KinDzaDza, better and better every day.7.5/10 I'll listen to it again to be more sure

Avatar hasn't release any typical crappy Full On so I'm optimistic. After all it's a label that loves Old School!

Ok this is another fav topic. We made a poll about best ambient artist,a topic about the best albums, now is the time for your fav tracks but I want to tell me the reasons. Just write down your top-20,10,5 or top-1 but wite also some comments for the tracks, why are so special to you. 1.Mushroom Band-Denmark Elephant Grey:This unknown group is a project of Swordfish (Astralasia) and Masters.(Don't be confused with their other project Magic Mushroom Band which is more Psychedelic Rock than ambient). This track is the most beautiful and melancholic stuff ever made. A peaceful bass and an amazing acoustic guitar rhythm (although I don't like guitars) not 100% Psy but man....You have to listen to it!!! 2.Astral Projection-Ambience:Too much kick+bass for an ambient track but the leading melody is a masterpiece.I can't believe they wrote such a happy, optimistic but slightly melancholic (IMO)melody.Amazing! 3.LOS-Slime Into The Sound:LOS(Legion Of Space)is a dark-Psy Greek group, very popular here and they released a dark-hard album (Predator). But the last track is an unbelieviable relaxing, beatless track with smooth, mind travelling melodies. 4.Infected Mushroom-Dancing With Kadafi:Mozart is dead but thank God IM are-or were-here.Guitars,violins,80's electro pop sounds and a (...) lst melody.so beautiful that makes me cry! 5.Optic Eye-Anacoluthon:The No.1 mindscaping track ever.Just close my eyes and travel in another time and space. You have to try it.No comments for it. 6.Oforia-Voice Of Delusion:Maybe the most melancholic intro in asong ever. This makes me wanna die .The last melody though is slightly optimistic but still sad.(Strange but true) 7.OOOD-Hartley's Ambient Jam:The first half of this amazing track is really beautiful with a nice asian female singing sample, but the real power of this track is the second half.Beatless, floating sounds feel like my soul leaves my body. 8.The Infinity Project-Under The Overtones:15 minutes of pure bliss. The first 7 minutes are a sound parade with no annoying percussion and useless melodies at all. again a mind travelling track. 9.Mushroom Band-Halfway Down And About To Fall:MM again with a more goaish melancholic,so beautiful that impossible to describe it track! Melodies that break my heart. 10.Astralasia-Aloo:Old School ambient at it's best. One of the most emotional intros ever and melodies that make me so sad-but I luv it! Phew, that was a long one.Now is your turn. C'mon share your feelings!!!

Of course not! I HATE the original, no.1 gay track ever! But the remix is awful as well!
-
Every Skazi rmx especially the "Satisfaction" one. I have to add. Spiritual Healing-Darshan rmx. It's not that bad but there is NOTHING that reminds the original. The melodies, the feeling, the melancholy are all GONE!!! Just a kick+bass all the way.WTF?
-
Hey Astro is that Mario 64 in your GC?

Don't you think that these covers fit perfectly in no.2?
