  1. And who exactly did they copy? Cause IM was the one group that had a completely unique sound. The Gathering, Classical Mushroom and dozens of compilation tracks are masterpieces.
  2. The movie was amazing. Pure Mad Max experience.
  3. Mad Max movies never had a story.
  4. Still, how the mainstream audience discovered them?
  5. I was thinking about it lately and I find it pretty strange. There were a group (albeit popular) in a very niche genre, but today they have fans everywhere and huge stadium gigs. I know guys that don't know who Hallucinogen or AP are, but they never miss an IM gig. Even their video clips have millions of views on youtube. I don't get at what point they became super famous. I guess with IM The Supervisor? Still I don't get what causes this dramatic increase in popularity. The vocals and the more commercial sound help, but is that all? Especially when other artists did the same, but never became huge (at least outside of Israel) like Dali or Michelle Adamson?
  6. We forgot Simon Carman. Sundog/Mindfield
  7. I have Underground Resistance. I haven't listened to it in ages, but I remember I enjoyed it. Arsenic on the other hand is pure acidic mindfuck.
  8. Holy crapoly I just discovered this! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OlVwLu4D4bU
  9. Totally agree. The term Goa trance is very limited today and only contains music that sticks to the formula. That's not a problem with the music though, but with the listeners. IMO almost 40% of the old school Goa tracks wouldn't be called Goa using today's narrow term.
  10. Let's talk about this great group. They were always highly melodic, with great storytelling melodies and pretty psychedelic sound. IMO their best track is The Secret Side. The melodies are breathtaking. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-hD4-Be25j8 and Mr.Sandman in trippy as hell. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xXcQCNmGEJE Feel free to talk about Braincell & Southwild (Rastaliens solo projects) as well.
  11. Zolod (Parasense/Terminator) Polyphonia Jake Stephenson (Shamanic Tribes On Acid/Alien Mutation/Colourform/Optica) Bonky
  12. It has the worst mastering I've ever heard. Most of the tracks are below average. There are some gems (Morphic Resonance, Imba vs Trinodia), but the mastering ruin their sound.

  14. Interesting. I have very strong synethesia when listening to goa/psytrance. Colours and fractals dancing all around. Check this thread as well. https://www.psynews.org/forums/topic/68998-synaesthesia-post-your-colours/?hl=synaesthesia
  15. I can suggest individual tracks, but whole albums? Kinda difficult. Maybe Ozmali-Forest Fusion?

    Nomad?

Nomad kicks ass. He with Absolum and Talamasca were the main pillars of 3D Vision. I wonder where he's now. Exploder is his best track IMO. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=crOISvidN4A&list=PLIOKvokb1WnyA-e-srtDn8r2S9o4qSAiZ&index=9
  17. This is in my opinion the one style I miss the most. The kind of psy/goa Xerox & Freeman played. A combination of Goa and old school Full On with a lot of attitude and energy. I miss this kind fo music and IMO no one does that anymore. Another examples are Talamasca's debut album, Absolum's early tracks, Fractal Glider, Passenger.
  18. The more good music is coming out the more this situation will change. I guess the majority of goa lovers still prefer old school from new school. The better newschool is getting the more praise the new artists will get.

    Anxiety

The problem is not that I'm not healthy. It's that I have the illusion that I'm not even though I know I am. It's a freaking paradox.

    Anxiety

All my life was what you would call an anti-anxiety person. I never cared much about things, I definitely didn't care about my health, I even had OCD as a child and beat it all by myself. However something has changed the last 3 years. I think I'm suffering from anxiety disorder. Pretty much every month I discover something new about myself either it's a health issue or an appearance one and it makes me very nervous. This lasts from 2 weeks to a month. Then I chill for a while until I discover something new. Basically I go to the mirror and suddenly I see something that I swear it wasn't there before. This is a list of some of the things that gave me serious anxiety the last 3 years: -I'm suddenly getting bald -My hairline is weird all of a sudden -My eyes are crossed -My eyes hurt -My contact lenses hurt me -I see many floaters all of a sudden -There's a ridge in my skull -I have two bumps behind my ears -Hearing loss -My nose tip has a ridge all of a sudden -My teeth are getting crooked more and more -My balls hurt -There's a strange vein over my eye -My this -My that -I even discover a hole in my eyebrow ffs What the fuck is happening? Since I know I'm getting paranoid I avoid going to the doctors. I did go to some of them and find me perfectly normal. Usually this makes me relax, but sooner or later something else comes at play. Needless to say that thinking about an imaginary problem makes it almost real. I really don't know why this happens to me. This is the exact opposite of what I was and it drives me mad. Anyone else having similar problem and how you cope with this?
