  1. Come on guys. Hitech may not be everyone's cup of tea, but at least something happens. Now listen to this. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ihq2X_pjjvo They made a loop, repeated it for 7 minutes and went to sleep!
  2. How's that even a question? Progressive. It's a loop repeated for 7 minutes.
  3. The problem I have (or at least I had since things are getting better) with new school Goa is that most artists decided to take the most obvious characteristics of Goa (eastern melodies, multiple layers etc.) and ignore all the others. Then tracks that break that formula are not even considered Goa today. To be more specific the field of Goa trance today is very narrow. It's like we erased all the progress and started over. Old school used to be the exact opposite. Stuff like Psychaos, Phreaky, Pleiadians, Elixir etc. If these artists released their music today I'm pretty sure someone would call them not-goa because they don't have the above characteristics. Like I said many times before what I don't like from new school Goa are: -Too much floatness. Waaayyyy too much. Pads everywhere, multiple uninteresting morning mellow melodies. -Not enough dark Goa artists (although that's changing). -Many eastern melodies. -Many nitzhonot influenced tracks. Thankfully things are getting better. The last two years I heard a lot of edgy, darker artists that focus on strong melodies instead of floaty atmospheres. Even Suntrip which almost exclusively focus on morning Goa (Ka-Sol excluded) released Blacklight Moments which was by far IMO their best compilation. Finally what Goa trance envolved sound like? There's only one answer. Pleidians-Family Of Light.
  4. Awesome EP. Spacey, melodic, edgy, powerful. Exactly what I miss from newschool Goa. Congrats to the artist!
  5. I wasn't interested until I read about Imba's karaoke. I'm coming now.
  6. I really like Artifact303 compilation tracks, but I don't like his album. I found it very, very floating for my taste.
  7. Daughter...yeah right. Come on man you love Harry's haircut, admit it!
  8. I've said it before, I'll say it again. Pleiadians + Transwave
  9. I have a lot: X-Dream: Pretty much everything except some tracks pre Radio. Radio itself is a snoozefest for me. Hallucinogen: He has some great tracks including two of my favourites, but most of them it's not my taste. I especially dislike his celtic melodies. Shpongle: Not my taste at all. Not a fan of this style in general. Juno Reactor: Feel The Universe excluded I can't stand anything by this group. E-Mantra: The bass is awesome, the synths are awesomes, the atmosphere is awesome, yet all you have to do is to listen to the first minute and you know how the rest of the track will be. I will give everything to hear a full power, twisted, full melodic track by him, filled with twists and turns. Ra: The same with E-Mantra. Actually all the floating new school Goa. All Prog: Including classics like Atmos, Son Kite, Freq etc. I just don't get it. 1200 Mics: I mean the debut album. What's the big deal?
  10. It's nice if you like his style. Most tracks sound the same though.
  11. Well that's true for me as well. The examples I gave are very extreme. Most of the times it doesn't bother me that much.
  12. Yeah, exactly that. You can hear the beginner's enthusiasm in most of the tracks.
  13. Alnitak Sunrise and Breakfast On The Balcony are amazing. One-Eyed Reptile is very nice. The rest are ok to meh.
  14. I don't even want to say which on is mine. I'm afraid I will get banned for this. Juno Reactor-Shango. Pistolero is a cheesefest. Hulelam and Badimo are simply annoying. Insects and both Nitrogen must be the most forgettable tracks ever. Song For Ancestors has the most irritating sample ever. Masters Of The Universe used to be cool, now it sounds like ass. The only good track is Solaris. Fuck this shit!

  16. Bad, good, weird experiences. I have to say that pretty much all the psy/goa artists I've met in real life were lovely guys. Filteria, Polyphonia (RIP), Kindzadza, Miraculix, Prometheus, a lot of Greek artists all awesome fellas.
  17. This promo video is hilarious! His album Deca is awesome btw, and has nothing to do with nithzo. Pure acidic Goa.
