  1. This could make a great psytrance remix. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=waacof2saZw
  2. Something by AP. Either Mahadeva, Let There Be Light or People Can Fly.
  3. Kokoretsi It's basically lamb guts (liver, kidney, lung etc.) wrapped in intestines. Sounds horrible yet is amazing.
  4. IMO the american Ring is vastly inferior to the Japanese one. I'll say that the famous Sadako scene in Ringu is the scariest scene I've seen. Inland Empire is not a horror movie per se, but it has probably the creepiest atmopshere. Lynch is the master of unsettling. I think hidden footage movies are love or hate. I guess you have to watch them under certain circumstances, completelly alone, in pure darkness and let yourself loose like listening to an ambient track. Paranormal Activity is another favourite. Too bad Hollywood butchered it with these endless sequels.
  5. Ringu, The Blair Witch Project and Inland Empire must be the scariest films I've seen.
  6. Why are you all laughing? It's true. Last time I went to a Skazi gig an interdimensional being asked me to borrow my body because it really wanted to dance to these killargh beatz!!!
  7. What the hell? Matsumoto with hair? I don't believe it. Awesome prank, I love those guys. Not a prank, but simply unbelievable. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-ZQsKjAuh54
  8. With the tons of releases today it's easy for an album to get buried under the pile, so in this thread we may shade some light to some of them that deserve more recognition. Please narrow down your selections about albums released between 2010-2013 so we don't have endless lists. Orestis-Recursive Consciousness It's 'normal' darkpsy that many people seem to seek out. No superfast bpm, no glitches, pure darkpsy. LAB-Roleplayers Another great darkpsy album that got lost. Very impressive. Mojo-Urban Tribal A combination of progressive, full on and tribal trance. Very interesting. Dragon-Spirals Of Time Not entirely unknown, but for its quality vastly underrated. It's cyber-forest psytrance or something. The Daleks-All Your Bass Are Belong To Us Completelly unknown release with a very unique characteristic sound. Freestyle psy with dark atmopshere and melodies. Leppy-Rust One of the few albums of the last years that still contains that pure phat South African sound. Hybrid Leisureland-Variable One of the best melodic ambient I've ever heard. Manju-Now Pretty similar with artists like Yudhisthira and Imaginary Sight. Melodic, forest neogoa or something.
  9. Sky Input is an album created by God. When I first listened to it I could't believe how it's possible so much awesomeness to fit in a single cd.
  10. Holy crapoly! 14 years and still going strong.
  11. Trust In Trance has much more classic tracks, but Another World has a more complex and spcey sound.
  12. Track: Pleiadians-Family Of Light back when it was unreleased. It was something out of this world, I've never heard such sounds and melodies before. Album: Astral Projection-Another Wolrd First Goa album I bought and it was unbelievable. Melodies and sounds from outer space.
  13. Audela is all you need.
  14. In case you know know more about the various Psy subgenres you may want to check this.
  15. Yeah, I've also heard that he's a cool dude.
  16. First impression is highly positive. And the Discovalley records is pretty 'normal' darkpsy for those who want that.
  17. Awesome album. Bodyhit has one of the best basslines ever made.
  18. I was writing a list, but soon realized there's no reason. Buy everything from Timecode and Nexus Media. Seriously apart from Hydraglyps-Euphonics which was meh everything else is top notch. Some other stuff: Xatrik-Project A Xatrik-Inside Information Shift-Excession Phatmatix-Sorcery Hiyarant-Colission Frozen Ghost-Edible Technique Brethren-The Price Of Prophecy
