1. I need your help. There's this track from 2010 that reminds me of another old school track. The synths at the first half are pretty much the same, even the melody is almost identical. But I can't remember which is the track. I'm trying two days to remember it, any ideas?
2. Elysium is and will forever be banned as long as we're admins/mods.
3. The worst part of the video is the I'm looking the camera and crying because you left me. Who fucking cares? Sing and show us your boobs!
4. Come on man. There's no reason to leave a forum (twice) over an internet drama.
5. Infect Insect has a unique indeed. Arhyperziiman-Fuckin Very Killa iDmercial-Behold The Power Of Brack Metar are the only tracks I can think that are close enough. And these three that although not in the same style they use white/brown noises style synths. Silent Enemy-Lord Of Destruction Xylamanda-Evilangelism Fatal Discord & Hishiryo-Ijiwaru
6. Does time really considered a dimension?
7. I vote for Shift's remix of NIN-Closer Unbelievable
8. Antiloop were my GODS before I discovered Goa. But I don't considered them poptrance. I'm still waiting for the Nowhere To Hide psytrance remix btw.
9. Hundreds of them. One is Slide-Saturnalia which IMO is one of the best tracks of all time. Yet most people I know prefer Unstable or Unobtanium more.
10. Time to write my impressions for Brainwavz M5. At first I couldn't properly fit them in my ears (the left one actually) and I couldn't hear the low freqs. Thankfully it has a big selection of caps and I found the ones that fit. (Which surprisingly are the cone shaped ones which I guess it's because the earphones are straight and not curved). The sound is indeed impressive. The highs are very loud, but sharp. The lows are very clear (I adjusted my mp3 equalizer just a bit to boost them up a bit) and the mids have impressed me! Overall sounds great. Good job Rotty!
11. Another thread for another legendary big beat group. Do you like them? Dig Your Own Hole is one of my favourite albums of all time. It was huge for me back then. I loved most of the tracks (Electrobank(!),Block Rockin Beats, the title track and the two melancholic songs Where Do I Begin and The Private Psychedelic Reel). Surrender was nice too. More poppy, but some great tracks like Hey Boy, Hey Girl, Under The Influence and let Forever Be. Unfortunately they lost it since then IMO even more that Prodigy. Their sound became too commercial for my taste.
12. IMO Breath is the single best video of all time. It's godlike. And of course Smack My Bitch Up. Prodigy was my first edm love. They will always be in my heart.
13. All of their tracks from Experience. Music For The Jilted Generation and The Fat Of The Land. All of them.
14. Even the fact that two of the three Indoor members are legends of their own (Avi Algranati and Ofer Dikovsky) I find hard to call Indoor underrated. They may not be as popular as AP or MFG, but for a group that have relased only onE album they're pretty known IMO.
15. For example Indoor is a legendary group. They may not popular to younger audiences, but they're considered legends of Goa. Darshan are usually the very first group that get mentioned when somebody asks for darker Goa. Planet BEN is one of the most popular early prog artists. BOTFB are considered the best Forest Goa group ever (although I'm sure D-Dave was joking). Spirallianz are the most popular techtrance group together with Midi Miliz. Psychopod are...Koxbox. A lot of the artists mentioned here are very popular and known, I don't think you can call them underrated. For me underrated artists are the ones that rarely get mentioned when talking for best Goa/Psy although they have great tracks. Bypass Unit is a great example. They have a unique sound, three albums, but they're not that popular. Other great choices are Sundog, Ololiuqui and Mindfield.
16. We all know some guy that listens to Astral Projection and say 'Oh, that's techno', don't we? Do you know other styles that people outside of the scene confuse Goa/Psy with? Here in Greece we have the uplifting trance. For those who don't know uplifting (an ultra-cheesy version of nitzhonot) was HUUUUUGE for a 2-3 years period around 1999-2002 and of course everybody called that Psytrance. Yesterday I just realized that even today when uplifting is basically dead people still confuse it with Psy. When I told to an internet friend that I listen to Psy he replied 'Oh Psytrance. You reminded me all the good times I had with napster and Cherouvim (an uplifting artist)'. I was like 'not this shit again'. Any stories to share?
17. To be honest half of the artists named here are far from underrated.
