1. Yes many darkpsy sound as forest and many forest as darkpsy. For me they share more similarities than differencies this is why I found strange for someone to like the one, buit not the other. I also like psycore as long as is not too fast. Everything above 170-175 bpm is too fast to take it seriously.
2. What do you think of this?
3. DarkPsy-Fear One of a kind darkpsy with unbelievable bass and kick and some of the deepest tracks ever including Hell In Pain which is amazing. Insaneacyde-Squigeeverse Rough, melodic twilight psytrance that reminds of Slide meets SA psytrance. I'll post more later.
4. Not to sound like an ass, but you can't bash darkpsy as just kick, bass and noise music while posting a Midi Miliz track. Midi Miliz is just kick and bass and I like Midi Miliz.
5. I thought you were more in Forest and not 'regular' Darkpsy. My bad.
6. Check this video here. I'm glad that people here are not so negative about it. About the bpm I agree that it maybe too fast now, but keep in mind that if you follow the music for years you adapt in the higher bpm. For me there are three bpm ranges in darkpsy/psycore: 140-165: No problem with it 165-175: Only by artists like Furious/Crazy Astronaut, Kashyyyk or the new Kindzadza. They seem to know how to create really fast psytrance that still has a groove. 175 and more: That's a no-no. BTW here are some recommendations of last years' darkpsy that isn't too fast or hectic. 7. I predict the poll will go as: Love it - 2 Like it - 1 Hate it - 50
8. It seems that the vast majority of Psynewers hate it (even though we do have a darkpsy track in our compilation voted by you ). Apart from me and Rotwang does anyone else listens to it? I don't mean liking couple of tracks, but actually following it.
9. It's the first time I listened to Ghost Circles and almost creamed my pants. Unbelievable track!!!
10. ^^^ DAMN!!! I came here to post the exact same thing! Yes it's the best I've ever listened.
11. I love Darkpsy and there's nothing better to enjoy a dark track in night time. I actually prefer when I'm alone than being in a big audience. For me Darkpsy and Forest are very introvert genres.
12. So has anyone tried the ghost chilli or the scorpion butch T? edit: scracth that. Apparenlty moruga is the hottest chilli in the world with 2 million scoville heat units. Why? I mean why?
13. One of the few progressive artists that I like. I remember listening to them in Aurora festival and I was like 'Wow that doesn't suck!'
14. I have to agree with the OP.There's nothing more annoying that trying to find a track you once listened in a set. What's even worse is when a dj refuses to reveal the track even when you ask him directly. When I was younger I went to a Psy party (one of my first) and after the set was over I asked the dj about a specific track he played. He answered 'no, no I won't say anything'. What a douchebag.
15. I have Manju and Tavi. I haven't listened to the first one yet, Tavi is nitzhogoa. It's ok if you can stand the cheese.
16. I hate hot stuff. How are you supposed to taste anything when your mouth is on fire?
17. I have no problem with playback, but I do when I ripped them in my pc. A lot of times the last track gets ripped with errors. Even with new cds.
18. I remember that my first post was about a gms track. I searched in the lost tracks section and I found it.
19. You're one month older than me in this forum.
