God Of War looks fucking garbage. Cinematic games are killing gaming. Once again we're gonna walk in a straight line listening to the main characters talk about their problems, a scripted event would happen and a shallow action set-piece will take place. Not that the old GOW games were anything great, but at least they had gameplay as their first priority. This one looks as awful as Last Of Us. Fuck this shit. Fuck it!

IMO this is as typical and boring as new school can go. 2.5/5

I've never liked Juno Reactor, but despite being goa pionners they were never a goa/psytrance exclusive group. They cross a lot of genres.

Honestly I can't answer. I could say I'm looking for power, but I like mellow tracks as well. Or looking for complexity, but I like a lot of simple tracks. Or looking for melodies, but I like darkpsy. Or looking for serious edm, but I like happy hardcore...

Colin is great apart from Artha which sound pretty terrible. Maybe it's the mixing instead of the mastering?

Visually Distorted might be his best work. Definitely one of the best Goa trackes ever.

Since Ofer is back with his new album why don't we have a best of? Both solo and group. Let's start with two of my favs among dozens and dozens of perfect tracks.

I recognize zero tracks, but the last one sounds a bit like Ofer Dikovsky early style.

I've posted it and said it many-many times before, but this track is pure perfection and the real (and IMO the only one so far) next step in Goa Trance. Truly alien music.

That's true yeah. On the other hand many compilations have tracks of both styles. They start with more full on-ish tracks and end with almost hi-tech. Plus like I said this style is still unnamed. I personally call it Doof style. BTW another artist that Imba will enjoy. Caveman

Not really. Among other differences Twilight is melodic, while the style Imba posted is not. As far as I know this style doesn't have an official name yet, but I'm sure most ppl call it UK Psytrance or UK Full On. Some labels even use the forest term. Anyway to stay on topic Fobi is a great artist: and this great track by (most of the times boring) Full Face:
