  1. I want to export a MIDI file in Cubase that includes all the effects I have applied to it plus all the changes in the vst itself (cutoff, lfo etc.) Is that possible?
  2. I don't think aggressive and atmopsheric go together. Yes a track might be both, but it's kind of rarity. One example I can think of is MFG-Why? or Oforia-Why Not On Mars. BTW as much I love MFG-Experience I don't think it's aggressive.
  3. For the Antagon track you can try - Z- Gospodin. - Z - are Antagon and Alpha so their style is pretty similar. For the KDD try this. http-~~-//www.youtube.com/watch?v=o2lV2Au4iyM&feature=relmfu It's a bit rougher compared to KDD, but comes really close IMO.
  4. If someone goes progressive too then all hope is lost.
  5. I kind of agree. There's the psycore tag for fast, powerful ''darkpsy'' tracks, but IMO it fits more for multi effects madness like Cosmo, Highko, Loose Connection etc, than this kind of melodic style. I guess people still use the darkpsy term since the sound it's closer to darkpsy than anything else. But yes artists like Kashyyyk, Crazy Astronaut and now this sound neither as pure darkpsy or simple psycore.
  6. It's the fastest KDD album for sure, but personally I don't mind. I don't usually like psytrance above 160 bpm, but this kind of highly energetic darkpsy sounds great even when it goes around 175 bpm (the same with Furious, Crazy Astronaut stuff). Somehow these artists manage to make such fast tracks without sounding annoying.
  7. I wasn't aware of this track. I listened the youtube video and I can tell it sounds amazing!
  8. I wouldn't call it full on bassline. Yes it's a 16th pattern bass that stays in a key, but many goa artists both old and new use this kind of bass. I agree it's loud in the mix which is imo why most people complain about it.
  9. I personally find it one of the most pure psychedelic trance experiences of my life. It takes everything that make Kindzadza sound so awesome and adds some of the trippiest cyber melodies I've heard. I'd love to listen more of this melodic darkpsy. 11. I might be generalize, but it's my opinion. I understand that many people don't feel that way. I hate to bring back the cliched old school vs new school discussion, but you see I follow new school since 2003 and Ethereal-Anima Mundi and to be honest 9 years later I haven't see any evolution. At least towards the sound I want. This is why I generalize. It's because I can't find that powerful melodic sound of the old days. About how much danceable newschool is I believe that even people who prefer neogoa over old school will agree that is less danceable. Please feel free to say if I'm wrong. It's sad to listen that you will not write any Goa anymore. But I really have to ask why? Goa scene is stronger that ever. Full On is popular for more than a decade. I don't think it's a new thing that Full On is the primary genre in parties. In fact I see more and more goa acts in festivals line ups. Something that it would sound like a joke 4-5 years earlier. I have all your cds and I found Pathfinder much better than your debut. So personally I don't like seeing you quit.
  12. Yeah, my point exactly. Even newschool tracks that are more intense seem to be somehow smooth. I believe it's the lack of strong melodies that will guide the track and that percussion is somehow less phat than old school.
  13. Well to be honest the reason that psyheads don't dance to goa anymore is that IMO neogoa is not that danceable. I'm a huge Goa head and the vast majority of new school goa tracks don't move me at all. I'm pretty sure that if some dj played some old school AP or MWNN ppl will go crazy even if they don't know the track. Sorry for the rant, it's that I feel that the energy is missing from the new goa scene and I don't believe is because of the bass. Actually I believe that if there's one thing that neogoa does better than old school is the bass. But the bass alone is not enough.
  14. So I was checking the wiki entries of Goa Trance and Psytrance and IMO don't do any justice for the music. Goa entry has some interesting facts about the roots of it, but it never covers the milestones. Like the artists that first produced Goa, labels and pretty much anything else you expect to read in an article about a music genre. Psytrance entry is even simpler and slightly covers the history of Psy. I've read much better articles about the history of Psytrance/Goa elsewhere so I guess it would be nice to have something as good in wikipedia. The reason I made this topic is to see what you guys think it should be in the wiki article, to share info and of course to find someone who is willing to write it.
  15. Here is mine: There also 12 more that haven't shelved yet.
  16. Resealing digipacks sounds awesome. Moist has made some of mine into pulp. Where do they sell these cases?
  17. Bassline is fine. Glad to see some power in D5. I'm not a fan of their floating style, but this one sounds awesome.
  18. SA psy. Power, melodies and ENERGY.
  19. His best is Voice Of Delusion. It's amazing and very melancholic. Also New Frontier from the same album is ace.
