  2. The thing with videogame themes is that they can sound really cheesy as psytrance tracks (especially if the remixer is GMS ), but some themes could work great as pure psytrance. Here is my list http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MPkhhLC1tf8 This could work great as a funky morning tune. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=09UAzg3Ualc Best electronic track in videogame history. It sounds already a bit psychedelic-ish, so a proper remix would be awesome.
  3. This must be some kind of remix/tribute because it's really identical.

  5. Yup. It just fades in in the Patfinder track.
  6. This is something that puzzles me for years. We have two tracks: The famous Pathfinder by Chi-A.D. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yu4F4Pi3StI&feature=related and the also famous trance hit Diving Faces by Liquid Child http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UI_yWTv3W3w As you probably noticed those two tracks have they exact same pad! Pathfinder at 04:23 and Diving Faces at 01:03. It's not just similar, it's the same. Same synth, same melody. Now Pathfinder got released in 1999 and Diving Faces in 1998. Now I highly doubt that Dave ripped off the pad from the Diving Faces track. So it's a coincidence or a homage?
  7. This is one of the best twilight compilations of the last years. Funny I think the Digital Talk track is probably the best here. The last melody is so catchy!
  8. Well it depends what you mean machine gun bass. You mean every 16th note bass or the annoying kind like the track you posted?
  9. My fav ocelot compilations track are: Kickstart Synyata(!!!) MVP Decide (For) Yourself Kaliflower Happy Birthday
  10. I have Vector Selector, Dream Selector, 9 Lives, Live In A Zoo and One. I voted for Vector Selector. Although I believe his compilation tracks are his best.

    Insomnia

Beatless ambient saved me from insomnia some years ago.
  12. BOTFB & Ka-Sol-Masters of the Outhouse Mojo-Urban Tribal Loopus In Fabula-Fizzy Beats
  13. Indeed it's an awesome track. The best I've heard from Suria (I don't have any of his albums though). BTW what happened to him? He used to be a hot name back then.
  14. The 10/10 system is good IMO as long as everyone follows the same logic. There are two ways to vote in a numerical system. The first one is what Basilisk said. To use the whole 1-10 scale by 5 being the mediocre. The second one (and what most ppl use IMO) is when the numbers 1-4 almost never used. And bad albums take 5 or 6.
  15. +2 Sooooooo eerie. It gives me chills.
  16. Nice album although again too floaty for my taste.
  17. Thanks for sharing, I never watched that before. Man they're all soooo young! (except for Raja Ram who was already old). Check out Simon, he's a kid! I really feel happy though that Goa didn't become the new trend in dancing.
  18. That's tough!!! Crop Circles Cosmosis Sandman Cydonia Indoor Out: Psychopod
  19. MWNN Cosmosis Prana The Delta Slinky Wizard out: Spirallianz
  20. Some awesome albums there. What kind of music do you want to listen?
  21. About the new Polyphonia album: It's superb. It's waaayyy better than his debut. It's like he chose his best tracks and put them in an album. Too bad it's gonna be the last music we get from him.
  22. Hux Flux indeed! He's the master of psychedelic farting. BTW what happened to him?
  23. I don't know much about Younger Brother, but afaik their last album wasn't trance. I guess ppl who pledged for this one didn't expect a trance album either. Someone correct me if I'm wrong.
