I don't like German music that much. Early X-Dream yea, but the tech-trance fad is beyond me.

Didn't hear their first albums, they are quite rare and hard to find. But i bet they are nice. As for Underworld, nothing came close to their Dubnobasswithmyheadman. Absolutely hypnotic piece of music. One of my favorite sleep time cds.

It's not he, it's 3 guys. Their latest album Puppy is not cheesy but more darkish and technoish. I didn't connect to it much. BTW, they exist since the late 80's and released 6 albums and also a single collection. http://www.discogs.com/artist/Fluke

Most was already said here i think. The high frequencier are too pronounced in the mix and the intro should be a bit longer. And also try to dry it a bit. I think there's a bit way too much reverb on the drums. But apart from that, it sounds very refreshing as opposed to most of the chill that is out lately. Good luck, sounds like you've got mucho talent!

And as for Nabi Shnabi Records. Dude, even on a scale of dark psy Nabi releases crap. I heard some previews of their last compilation and it sounds like a fart sound stratched over 70 minutes with some reverb and over distorted kick drum. Or in other words it sounds like Happy Hardcore. And frankly after hearing albums such as Hallucinogen's Twisted and yea UNS2 i have bigger urge to play my mom's Garth Brooks' albums than to suffer with this aural rape. Jesus, what are you high on? Ariel Ultra?

I usually read reviews by some people that i trust. The guy that started the topic usually posts reasonable reviews and i usually pay attention to his thoughts. Than i download several releases that i marked and hear them. If i like it i might buy it. I usually prefer artist albums and preferrably local, Israeli, releases, although they are quite sporadic nowadays... If it's a new and small label than i usually prioritze it's purchase. If it's Spun/Hommega/BNE i usually think twice. I seldomly buy mainstream. Only the worthiest pieces like Pink Floyd or anything in the caliber. My 3 cents.
