ill try to answer only what you were asking without giving any other opinions.... i think that the part that comes in around the 3 min. mark needs to be bolder. you basicaly have a 3 min. intro and then the track just sort of slips into the main part. it should make a statement a more pronounced transition seems like it would do the trick. hopw that helps.

i also use vanguard a lot, but.... zebra alchemy z3ta synplant ---- crazy synth that makes very cool and unusual sounds. guru for drums/perc

there is a new festival happening at the same location on the same dates. its called coalesce. line up and stuff should be out in a day or 2.

well thats a step in the right direction for sure. i for one was using the bathroom on new years eve (im a guy and i was taking a piss), when one of those FEMALE security people barged into the bathroom yelling at everyone and wouldnt let us leave without being searched. which is completely illegal for 3 reasons, 1- a female is NOT allowed into the mens bathroom 2- a female is NOT allowed to search a male (without permission) 3- keeping us in the bathroom constitutes an unlawful restraint. now if the rest of the security there can maybe tone it down a few notches that would be great. the 2 who have been let go werent the only ones giving people problems. the only one there who isnt a problem is the heavy set white guy outside the door.

optix...i hear ya man. while i personally never had a problem with the security, i see how they are. they are rude, pushy, and they are crazy with the searching. i was going to go to logic bomb last week, but dint because i was sick....didnt really bother me though cuz i really dont like going there. not only thet, but the place isnt even that good. the upstairs is ok, the sound system is no where near as good as they claim, and downstairs is just awful. it smells like a damp musky basement (because thats exactly what it is) and the sound system down there is just plain shitty.

are there going to be problems with the venue like the alladin party? those security people are out of control, and as you must surely know they ended the party 2 hours early....after turning the music down to half volume for an hour. hello bk as a bad venue no one likes it there.

thnx for the suggestions ill check those out. also sorry i should have given examples in the first place. i like stuff like psykovsky, suria, cpc, and elektrypnose. those seem to be more driving and hard rather than trying to be "spooky" with lots of just random sounds.

ok so any of you guys (or gals) out there know of some non squelchy, non glitchy darkpsy. seems most of the new dark stuff i hear is mostly anoying sounds jumping all over the place. im looking for some nice, clean, driving darkpsy with some power behind it. thnx

i saw astral 2 weeks ago in new york. holy shit it was awfull. they were beyond bad....and the crowd...NOT psytrancers at all. it was like some disgusting eurotrash slimeball club. i felt like i was at twilo circa 2003. we left about an hour after they came on we just couldnt take it anymore. the crowd was so bad that the club closed its doors and wouldnt let anyone out to smoke at 2:00. these assholes were all drunk and stupid high puking all over themselves and in the street...causing a scene and attracting the cops. a fucking mess. and did imention astrals music was utter crap?
