ok trancer... please bear in mind that i am only suggesting a pc to save you money. if money was no object...id say get the mac. it is a little better. what kind of computer? thats not as easily answered as it would be for a mac. there are many many configurations. the best thing to do is figure out exactly what you want and need...and either get a costom one...or buy one as close to perfect as you can and costomize it yourself. (easier than it sounds) one thing about macs is they are easier to to get exactly what you want right in the beginning. you can do it with a pc, it just takes a litle more research and legwork...and it will cost less money. also if you dont already know how to use a mac...and you do know how to use a pc...the mac is confusing (its not that its bad confusing..im not saying that its a poor osits a good os...im saying if youre used to a pc only..macs are confusing)

i like them both. i lean a bit more towards minimal, but full on is always fun too. i like full on for dancing and minimal for my journeys. but they are easily swithched. dancing to minimal is cool trancing to full on is cool. id makes no real difference.

Audio files created with these sounds are subject to sample copyright laws and may only be transferred to Mixman only via Radio Mixman and public performance is only allowed via Radio Mixman." haha... nice try mixman. firts of all... they could never...ever prove you agreed to this. they could never prove you used thier software and therefore they cant prove you agreed to this silliness. all they can pove is that you used sound of thiers...but they cant prove where you got it. besides thay cant copyright say..a 4 4 kickdrum..boom boom boom boom.... its silly..how can they prove its "thier" sound? they cant. besides... while using mixman it tells you when you pick the trk. file if its royalty free or not..and they are all say they are royalty free...thus negating that whole shpiel. it it says royalty free...than its not your fault. they cant tell you none of thier sounds are royalty free...and then label them all royalty free. by labeling royalty free that forfiet thier claim on them. the only things not royalty free are trk. files derived from signed artists (this does not include the skinny puppy disc...as almost none of those sounds are actualy skinny puppy). i have heard plenty of mixman .trk files in songs. i say use as many as you want...they cant do sh1t mixman is a terrible company with horribly overpriced product and they cheat their costomers on a regular basis...believe me...i have had plenty of run ins with mixman costomer (dis) service. so use the sounds...just dont use them in mixman as mixman is incredibly limited in what you can do.

for trade... no these are the soundiscs that are from mixman. they are completly royalty free... go the the mixman website and look for the soundiscs. you can listen to samples from them and everything.

hehe... nope no standard. they just master them the way they want them mastered. im not even sure it would be possible to have a standard....i think to have a standard every one would have to master with the exact same equipment and use the exact same levels..ect. ect.. of corse i could be wrong.

hey, hows it going... it is very possible that the cds are not recorded at the same levels. i cant say for sure about 3d vision but i have had this problem with other music.... namely when i used to mix a lot of industrial i found that nearly 100% of the time skinny puppy was distractingly lower in volume than all the other songs. like i said i have no idea if its the label or what, but how the cd is mastered does make a difference.

well...... im glad you had a good time sthspun...as did i and many people. but to say that "anyone that bitchesdoesnt understand anything about trance" is a little much. and just because raja ram said it was the best party hes seen in america.....that doesnt mean it was the best party in america.....far far from it. all 3 new york s.u.n. project parties ive been to were better..the absolum ss party was way better. the ss party with doof and dragon was better...x dream was better..in fact this ss party wasnt even in the top 10 of ss parties let alone if you add in the tsunami parties the omni tribe parties and the free outdoor parties. all of last years free outdoor parties (bridge..that field in brooklyn) were better than this ss party was....and if you dont think so..maybe you dont understand as much about trance as you think you do. the ss party was indeed good...but it wasnt THAT good.

hey me, i hear ya man... the sound at ss parties is always too muddy without enough highs and mids..thats a spot on assesment. and that absolum shiva chandra party at roxy was by far the best synth-sad i have gone too...and ive gone to a lot of em. but the parties are still always pretty fun so i keep going. i think the 35 dollar price tag is a little steep though.

yeah the party was pretty fun i agree. the location...well i dont think its really that much better than amazura. if only the security at this place was at amazura, amazura would be great. i did like the outdoor chill out and it was roking once the sun came up. but for 35 bucks..i would like to see an actual bathroom....port-a-potties dont cut it for that price...especialy the very limited amout of port-a-potties they had. the sound was a bit too loud at first then they took it down...and then it was too quiet..and i agree definately too much base...well actualy not enough high and mids. all in all a very fun night. cool people cool music.... fun time indeed. another successfull night for the s-s crew. anyone going to see i.m. at tsunami? im not.
