i think its a bad practice. and i would personaly never send a fax of my cc# thats just nuts. you never know what happens to that paper on the other end. there is no need for this kind of thing. there are thousands and thousands of on line and phone buisinesses none of which ask for a fax of your cc. besides....it doesnt even prove anything. if i had a cc# that wasnt mine and i knew you were going to ask for a fax of the cc...all i would do is make a fake one in photoshop with thise #s and my pic all that stuff.........see...its a fax...no one would ever know it wasnt a real cc# dont send it.

i really suck at math...and i pretty much suck at music......but im working on the music part. a for your thoery...i think there are some valid points in there. i dont nexxesarily think listening to psytrance makes you intelligent...but i do think that it helps you to learn to notice patterns and to focus on detail. i also think that due to the nature of psytrance..it attracts more intelligent listeners. because of its complexity people who really just cant handle it..wont listen. and they dont..and when they hear psytrance..they think its repetitive and monotonous..they dont see(hear) the soubtle changes. psytrance is the baroque of the modern world. go listen to mozart and then imagine what it would sound like being played on a virus.... bach even (not boroque but still..). i personaly think psytrance is not recognized by most to be the extreamly develpoed and complex style that it is.

elfie, "Tim Schuldt / Evil Playgound" man this keeps happening...evil playground is NOT by tim schuldt..its by front line assembly...he just did a little remixing. and a liitle storie about jarboe's "troll" that i posted earlier.: i have a habit of playind cds as i go to bed. sometimes i like to listen to jarboe as i go to sleep..as many of the songs are quite pretty to listen to. there have been two times where i had a girl over for the night and when we went to sleep jarboe was playing on the stereo. ok.. so in the middle of the night im woken up by a scream and the girl who is over starts packing up her stuff saying things like "holy crap...that sh1t scared the hell out of me..i have to go...what the hell was she singing??..i cant sleep here now..." ect ect ect. all frantic and paniced. this happened twice...with two sepperate girls. im telling you..its a scarry ass song. its not starteling at all..but it gets in your head...its a freaky song.

holy jeebus... that sounds like a killer killer party. i have never seen skazi live..but they kick ass and absolum... forget it...absolum was by far the best live act i have seen. (i dont count s.u.n. project as they are in a class by themselves when it comes to a live set)

Evil Playground (tim shuldt rmx).... i have a comp with that on it and it says the artist is FLA what the? its not FLA. its front line assembly. why dont they put the whole name up there? most psytrance people wont know what fla is. i think its not fair to front line to not credit them properly for that song. front line kicks ass.

im sorry but psytrance is not scary......ever. dark? yes...but not scary. you want scary... try (i dare you...just try) to listen to the entire diamanda galas "plague mass" or for a single scary ass track jarboe - troll hhmm... thats odd.. the two scariest i can think of are both women.

hehe.... yeah.. i never heard of any other albums thet were supposed to be about syd. but you have to admit...wish you were here fits syd perfectly. the words in shine on you crazy diamond...hell the title alone is obviously about him. every song on that album.....they all tell a little story about syd. i mean the song wish you were here "did you exchange..a walk on part in the war...for a lead role in a cage" a direct refference to him being in an institution. but every line of every song fits in as being about syd. like i said..i never heard that any of the others were about him... and the wall and final cut are all about waters and hs father...i agree with you there..the other stuff is better. np---- nothin i turned music match off.

i forgot to mention..... not only do i have the dx-200 but i would also use the cs6x as the contoller for my softsynths and i plan on adding a virus or waldorf xt in the future (hehe the far future as i would have to start saving from scratch if i bought the yamaha). or i could not get the yamaha and i can save up for a virus or xt...but i wont have the money for a long time...months and months.....i could get the yamaha next week.

anyone know anything about it? to buy one new is very expensive.... but used very cheap. that makes me think its not very good. but at sonic state people say its very good and under rated. i have read lots of reviews for it...all favorable, but no stores have one for me to try. i already have a yamaha dx-200 so i would not need the extra card to get some cool fm synthisis. the synth looks very good on paper and from reviews...but i would like the opinion of some one who would know more about how its suited for goa/psy trance. thnx.

oh... of corse. wish you were here and animals cant be touched. 2 of the very finest albums of all time...in my opinion. as a side note, if you did not already know... the entire wish you were here album is about syd barrett. if you listen to it knowing that every song is directly about syd ...it takes on a whole new meaning. a side side note: nine inhc nails's album - pretty hate machine is about tori amos. she is the pretty hate machine (the title make more sanse now...no?). again listening to it with that knowlege is quite a different expierience.

bugbread, the final cut happens to be a very good album. i grant you its a little vauge given how they released it. it was supposed to have been the third disc of the wall. listen to the wall and then the final cut right after...it will make more sense that way.
