here is an easy review to understand: if you do not like minimal...move on. this isnt for you. if you like minimal.... hot damn is this good. it is very psychadelic. it is very hypnotizing. it is very beautiful.

digipacks do not look "nicer" they just look glossy-er. that same exact look is possible with jewl cases...only it will be protected by a nice plastic cover and wont get all messed up. there is absoluely no advantage to a digipack. none. zip. ziltch. nada. goose eggs.

i was just wondering if anyone knows if absolum is planning on releasing a new album anytime soon...or ever. i tried to find some info but wasnt able to locate any. thnx.

i was in northridge california when they had that big quake. not very fun at all. i hope none of your stuff gets broken.

digipacks main drawback is that the cardboard is very easily damaged. when it does get damaged you can not fix it. the artwork is unprotected and whatever inserts they use are limited in size. i know inserts in jewl cases are limited as well but you can fit much more in a jewlcase. and the spine on a digipack is horribly weak, they get smushed and bent out of shape very easily. did i mention that jewl cases are replaceable? if you break, scratch or otherwise damage a jewl case you can just take all the stuff out and put it in a new jewl case.

yeah bomble i understand what you mean. in fact i was thinking about using some of my hand drwn stuff but because of the type of paint i use i wouldnt be able to scan it in. and im very very particular about the paint and how it looks, if a painting of mine were to be used they would need to have the original to scan and then use metalic ink to print it up....a real pain in the patooty. but maybe ill give it a go anyways...just to see.

fruity is a bit limited i think. i dont think you can get very original sounds out of it. i dont have reason but ive heard the same about it. reaktor i think is very very good and also very versatile almost unlimited with what it can do... but extreamly difficult to use. its rather complicated to create your own patches and stuff with it. there are tons and tons of soft synths out there. jeskola buzz is pretty good... and free. maybe start with that (cuz its free) http://www.buzzmachines.com

ive got one on there as well. look for darkwyrm or hymns for a new moon or ouroboros whatever. it seems a bit tricky to get a hold of. even though i know there are a bunch of people who have it. anyway, raider, to get your mix on ag. simply make it into an mp3 (if its not already) and place it into your shared directory. when you have your satalite running it will show up.

well i agree with etherdesign save one thing: embryo is kinda in the same boat as the others as far as being played out.... at least to my ears. even if its not actualy used too much.. it has the feel and sound of something that is. in keeping withthe empryo theme: womb hhm... i think womb is used more than embryo but for some reason doesnt sound like it is... i dunno voices from the womb echos from the womb i kinda like those.. pluss they refer to the music as being from (mostly) new artists.
