well... whatchya gonna do? party costs 30 bucks cd costs 25 bucks some peoples rent costs 900 a month people pay bills people need to eat and stuff people like music. but... artists have rent and bills and need to eat also. equipment is damned expensive they spend a lot of time doing this. its a job. how would you like it if you went to work and didnt get a paycheck? in the long run...the artists are in the right. but theres no way people who can not afford to buy cds are ever going to not get it some other way if they can. the problem is with people who CAN afford it not buying it. those are the ones who make a difference. and those are the ones who really should be ashamed of themselves. i really cant blame some guy who has almost no money for stuff. it doesnt matter anyway. that guy isnt going to buy the cd no matter what. if he doesnt get it for free he wont ever get it. the artists are loosing no money with people like that.

kristian, i completely dissagree with you. i happen to like wizzy a lot. and i find it to be very psychadelic. this is not techno. if you think it is i suggest you listen to actual techno. wizzy is a trance act...no 2 ways about it. and if you read the other reviews you will see that most people here think so too. you have to realize that there is more than one approach to goa/psy trance. is pink floyd classic rock? how about led zepplin? do they sound the same? how about the doors? greatfull dead? thank you for playing.

well.... hhmmmmmm. its good i guess. i dont know, theres just something about it thats not grabbing me. i certainly dont think its all that crazy or wicked. i dont know..its a little flat for me. i especialy got a little bored of the same muffled kick drum in EVERY song. i mean i know its a silly thing to get hung up on...but the kick is weak...very weak..and its the exact same kick in every song. its not a bad album its just not all that good. theres plenty of other stuff out there you could get that would be better.thers some good sounds in there. i think its a little lack luster.

well...if it goes. there will be another one to take its place within a week.

well i agree with the gist of what most people are saying. the only difference is i dont ever use the word "progressive" when refering to goa/psy music. progressive trance = sasha, digweed, van dyke ....me puking what some people call progressive psy/goa = son kite, atmos, m.o.s., noma, absolum, spirallianz, auricular, shiva chandra, ........ me dancing like a maniac with a stupid grin on my face. i call the later (if i must distinguish between styles) minimal goa/psy trance. in fact i dont call progressive trance trance at all. that whole webster hall club trance crap is not trance as far as im concerned. i call that stuff cheesy club music. (which i propose to be the official genre name for it.)

dont know if this would qualify for you as dark ambient (id does for me) but try seefeel - succour the whole album is really good. also if you like delerium ( a front line assembly side project) try another front line side project a listen. its called "will" i recomend starting with the album "pearl of great price" also try these bands..not really ambient but etherial dead can dance this mortal coil cocteau twins julie cruise

by meshing well with the other font...what do you mean? do you mean it doesnt lint up right...it doesnt match the look of the other one? do you mean it doesnt match the font on the bottom? please be specific so i can see where im not getting things to look right. thnx every one.

huh... i listen to those bands all the time. ive been listening to some of them for 5 years or so. i never heard the term "idm". hey give seefeel a try. i little slower but really nice. go figure.

Mindbender, thanks for the feed back. yeah, i know what you mean about the sounds needing to be a bit cleaner...im not sure what happened there. the sounds just fine as a .wav, but it keeps exporting to mp3 a bit dirty, im very new at this so im not sure what im doing wrong in the transfer proccess. it either gets dirty or it comes out too quiet...i cant seem to fing a middle ground. ill keep trying. and to me thats a big compliment you saying it reminds you of coil. i like coil a lot. thier version of tainted love is a masterpiece.

man i shoulda gone to this. i went to synth-sad last week. it wasnt very good. medecine drum was god awful. oforia was merel ok and i dont think slinky wixard played at all. unless it was slinky and not oforia...or maybe they all played. it looked like it was yhon-e then medicine deum then someone..and whoever that someone was played til the end.....unless i just couldnt tell it was someoone different. i dunno. oh well. how was hux flux?

and besides....this might not be my entry at all. especialy if we can only have one. this was just my first idea.
