Hello! I've decided to share my ambient/ethno/psybient/dub mixes, 2 pieces. They're fringing the boundaries of what I think is allowed in this forum but includes many producers from the psy/goa/ambient community. My memory power is quite crap when it comes to my collection, especially my CDs. But I remember really liking the Futurology - Martian Chronicles CD and Ishq - Flowering Mountian Earth CD. All of the CDs are really good though. Yeah, starkraver is right about Omni Vu Deity as it is being a bit more beat oriented like his first album Orchid. Nganga is lending a lot of progressive rock elements too, remember playing it in one of my ambient sets lovely track that.

I've got 3000 records so it should be about right there. I wonder the worth of Ukiros collection... M/ -

Minimum: €16,475.96 Median: €27,581.81 Maximum: €46,376.49 No way in hell I get 46K euros for my collection though. If I'd ever sell my entire collection in one go (which will never happen!) it probably would go only as high as maybe 5-6K euros. M/ Number 1 Spot Maximum: https://www.discogs.com/Pleiadians-Alcyone/release/345836 Number 1 Spot Median: Same as above Number 1 Spot Minimum: https://www.discogs.com/Electron-Wave-The-Uncertainty-Principle/release/351241 -

Thanks for the responses both of you. The most debilitating part of being insecure is that I depend solely on others opinions (combined with 0 self esteem I'm surprised and very happy that I'm still alive) about me and this is, after 25 years of sleepwalking, very hard to let go of. Even though I know that I have to in order to grow up as person. Emotionally I'm still 7 years old, and I'm not in any way bending the truth here. M/

I'm now a few days past my second month of sobriety, hopefully it'll stay that way for the rest of my life. Why stay sober? Because I'm littered with fears, really a bunch of irrational fears and the only way for me to handle this before going sober was to drench myself in alcohol and to stay drunk as long as I possibly could. My primary fear is being abandoned, have had that since I was little kid. I'm very very insecure. My secondary fear is that I think that everyone thinks of me in negative terms and I pretty much always interpret every signal from people around me as something untoward directed at me. Generally this stuff is mostly linked to a very low or complete absence of self esteem which is the case for me. I never fit in in any situation mainly because of my fears above. I don't know how to stop feeling frightened about social encounters or other situations where fear is irrational. Right now I'm trying to see it as tinnitus, like "get used" to it. Also working on a way to stop my mind from starting these endless thought patterns of idiocy and fear.

I have a lot of CDs but I don't collect them. I simply buy the stuff I want and suddenly I simply have a lot of the CDs I want. Sometimes I try new stuff when finding bargain bins. I think I have to go through my CDs and see if I can get rid of some of them... haven't listened to CDs in awhile now though... I started buying CDs so I'm completely lost when it comes to digital. For those that missed out on the CDs and got introduced to digital the first thing with music must have easier to get into it rather than start buying CDs. Actually I'm a bit confused CDs still exists, must be the artwork then, hmmm? M/

Music gives me comfort. Always has. Of course that means stuff that i got attached to in my early years stays with me even though I might have years of a break on 'em. I have a lot of trance neo goa psychedelic stuff that needs a bit of a listen as I've only ran 'em through once. But I surely try to evolve through the competition albums/compilation threads I do, I've not been keeping pace at all. The problem here is to simply to put on music and just let it play. I've been having a real hard time with this. Voting Artifact303 with 5/5 and still I know completlingly (wat!?) nothing about the album in question. So on so on, I need to do more of the above, sit down and just read a book and set up a playlist!
