  1. So does this mean the moderation team just got the shaft?
  2. Here is a collection of kciks from various places. Most are from Isratrance's kick sharing project. Others are from various other free sources I've come across on the net over the years. http://www.par-2.com/choons/Kick.zip
  3. I might agree if he didn't say so himself in an interview sometime last year that he was going to start working on it. Granted he said that about 3 years ago too, but at least the desire seems to be there with in him somewhere. I think its more a question of "when" than "if".
  4. For the record, I've been a regular visitor to these forums for at least 6 years now, long before I had any thoughts of ever being able to release anything musically, so I'd still be here whether I released a cd or not. Any promotional advantage I've gained from being here has purely been a coincidental benefit of being somewhere I would have been anyway. Snowball's point about creating a top group creating an "elite" at parties and such may have some merit in the mainstream media and all, but I don't think it really applies to these forums so much as, at least to me, Psynews has always been the "more underground" the flip side of the "mainstream" Isratrance. Else-wise we'd be seeing more votes for Skazi and the rest of the actual "big sales" (if there is such a thing anymore) psy-trance party "elite" (again, if there is such a thing) here. If me getting a few votes here (which I must say I'm as surprised as anyone about, if not more so) indicates that I'm part of the so called psy-trance elite in terms of popularity, sales, and being booked for parties, then the psy-trance scene is in some serious trouble. Anyways, we are far off topic here so I'll shut up now...
  5. Tough call here as I love both, but I had to go with Chi-A.D. The Pleiadians tracks I love perhaps have a slightly higher "wow" factor, but on average I think Chi-A.D. is a hair more consistent. More importantly, Chi-A.D. just manages to find its way into my playlist more frequently.
  6. You have a point with industry driven top ## lists being primarily for sales, but personally I have always enjoyed fan based top ## lists because they represent the fans direct opinion. For me they have always been a wonderful "crap filter" and a place to find new stuff I have missed for whatever reason earlier. If something is making into many people's lists even though there wasn't a lot of commercial hype around it, it is mostly likely something decent I'd be interested in checking out. As for Rezwalker's comment about my votes on other sites. Last I say before they closed it on Isratrance I had I believe 5 votes. I did a quick goggle hunt and my name seems to have popped up one or two times on a few forums in other countries, but I can't read them, so for all I know, they are "Worst Releases of 2006" lists. Its true that I have a lot more hype here than on any other forum, but then again spend more time here than any of the others (possibly related? shrugs ) . I don't have that many "friends" here (as in people I talk to outside the forum about non-psy related topics, only about 3 come to mind right now) so I desparately want to believe whatever popularly my album has gotten here in the last couple months is due only to its merits (more likely it's due to Abasio never shutting up about it.. ) As for my list at the moment: 1 Jikkenteki - The Long Walk Home (originally refrained from stuffing the ballot box, but after much thought, why shouldn't I vote for what was obviously the most important release of the year for me) 2 Principles Of Flight - Night Time Lullabies 3 VA - Far East Technology 4 Hydraglyph - Kinetic 5 Human Blue - misSTArRyAs Xperience
  7. I think you forgot the "f" before "art" there... Now playing here: Melicia - Play With My Mind
  8. Just finished the ever so classic Nerve - No Foco EP and am now putting on the new Human Blue again. Its definately the winner of the stuff in my last Saiko order.
  9. Ditto here. I have a couple of chill tracks that aren't on my next album and thus are looking for a home.
  10. The infamous TIP - Clear, one of the several Japanese TIP releases. Good album. The vinyl version is one of the jewels of my vinyl collection. http://www.discogs.com/release/596980 NP - Eskimo - Balloonatic Part 2
  11. Just checking to see if everyone's cds have arrived here. We've had trouble shipping to some of the countries the winners were in before (Greece in particular, with shipments sometimes taking months) so I was a little worries about some of the discs taking forever. Also Next World, I still need your address to resend you the CD after the mystery CDR incident. Hope everyone enjoys the discs (not just the PAR-2 related ones too)
  12. Human Blue - misStArRyAs Xperience Fabulous album on the newly revived Transient that seems to have gone by more or less unnoticed.
  13. I was about to make the same comment myself. I'm personally a big fan of non-standard time sigs and wish they were more common.... As for full on, I don't really care what it is, as long as it makes me move. True there is a lot of average (or worse) stuff out there, but there are some gems that come out every year.
  14. Today's delivery included: Carbon Based Lifeforms - World Of Sleepers Artifakt - Artifakts Pleiadians - 7even Sister7 Human Blue - misStArRyAs Xperience Human Blue - Electrolüx Noise Anomalie - Deep In The Bushes and a several days ago, but too busy to open until today.. Shanti - Disfunction
  15. Suomi is hit and miss with me, but this is about the most consistantly good comp in the realm of suomi that I've found so far. NP: Optokoppler - Take A Trip
  16. The word jikkenteki means "wants to be cool and popular like Skazi and will sell out with his second album" in Japanese. Actually it means "experimental", although in my case it actually started as a joke as a pun with the Japanese characters for "teki". I don't use it that way anymore, but the name stuck so here we are.
  17. Email me the info to jikkenteki(at)par-2.com then.
  18. Very weird, I have NO idea how that happened. Anyways PM me your address and I'll send you a proper copy of the CD ASAP.
  19. Very very very strange. This seems just about impossible to me as I packed all the CDs direct from the factory myself. What exactly did you receive? An album case with a blank cdr in it? A cdr case with said cdr in it?
  20. That's only because the time signature is messed up and most DJs would have no idea now to mix out it
  21. All of them have that on the tray card. We are trying to be like TIP World and include at least one major typo in every release...
  22. Just as an update, everything from my side of things has been mailed. New Years is a fairly mad time for the Japanese post office so I'm not sure if that will slow things up a couple days or not, but everything should be well on its way now.
  23. The Big Noise - Outsomnia Unexpected little surprise from the Evolution comp, this one is.
  24. Well it's all about expectations so get ready for it to be a complete sell out, sounding like a cross between Skazi and Britney Spears with some heavy Eurobeat and hip hop influences and lots of killer rock guitar!!! :P
  25. Funny, I was just wondering what ever happened to Activate Morlack the other day.
