  1. As far as release of a new Jikkenteki album in 2007, there is no maybe on that (whether you want it is a different story) as it was finished last week We are trying to bankrupt ourselves in 2007 with 3 releases, VA - Mainspring Motion, Jikkenteki - Flights Of Infinity, Zekazy - Be Your Own Boss. Mainspring "should" be out next month (depending on the jacket artist) and "Flights" I could see coming out sometime March - May. Album I personally want to see would include Metal Sharon, Eat Static and maybe something new from Psysex.
  2. That should be 11 vs Symphonics.... Symphonics was half of Phi while 11 is is a different guy entirely. While we a mentioning kick as Phi tracks, Afrobad is my hands down favorite and it ALWAYS brings the house down on the dancefloor.
  3. That will be because all the CDs are "da bomb"! ????
  4. Actually I never even thought about signing the CDs. Somehow I have a hard time imaging myself as someone who should sign cds so the thought even even entered my mind. As for addressing, while I usually write them, this time around the printer was my friend. Due to the weekend and my work schedule I can't get the last 6 cds out until tomorrow but I'll send them out first thing in the morning,
  5. Update on my side of the shipping of things. 18 copies of "The Long Walk Home" were mailed out yesterday. I ran out of bubble wrap and it was getting late so I got those copies out before the post office closed. I'll get the last couple copies and the Neptune's Garden CDs out as soon as I can. Sorry for the delay with those winners.
  6. I'd get the Phi cd sooner rather than later if you are planning on buying it. I think the supply if getting pretty low and from what I hear, the international distributor is officially out of stock. Obviously fans of Phi should check out Slum and Symphonics since they are the two halves of Phi. as for other good full-on, I've been into Hydraglyph a lot this year.
  7. Yeah, its a great track, although there are a mess of tracks I'd put before that when it comes to personal favorites in the Symphonics catalog. The big question is when will all those other tracks see the light of day? 11 is kind of unofficially in charge of taking care of that side of things and he's pretty busy with a new business at the moment. Not to mention a few tracks need to be seriously redone, for example the one that suddenly just drops into the entire chorus of John Lennon's "Imagine" out of nowhere before taking off into dark techy land
  8. The late Symphonics was a friend of mine (and un-late 11 as well) and its the first of Symphonics' many tracks to get a proper release so even if all the the other tracks sucked (which they don't) I'd probably still vote for it for sentimental reasons.... I mean I bought a copy of it even though I received a promo copy months ago after all.
  9. My number one choice is probably self evident, but after that the choices are quite difficult if only because I usually am about 9 months behind on most purchases. I tend to let everyone else fllter stuff for me and only buy the new stuff people are still talking about half a year later or so. OOOD will probably get a vote and my favorite compilation choice will probably be Elf Music's Far East Technology, although I might be accused of bias on that choice as well After that....... time for some review of this year's purchases I think.
  10. The EQ works for me fine in Cubase, maybe try reinstalling it?
  11. The PAR-2 Productions related CDs (minus the ones that Faze hasn't received addressed for yet) should go out in the mail the day after tomorrow barring some unforseen events.
  12. Everyone is invited. We were talking about the end of Jan. as a deadline due to the holiday rush and all, but we never really got that 100% decided? What does everyone thing?
  13. Shakta - Out Of Site This era of Shakta is by far my favorite so far. Love those funky beats..
  14. Actually thank Faze. He's far too nice a guy. This was the first (and probably only) time I had to actually fight and eventually force someone to take a discount on the cost of the cds... lol :)
  15. Yeah, my track for this is on hold until I finish the last track for my album, but I've been quite impressed with Highlife actually. Kick ass free sampler that is and surprisingly good for drums.
  16. Amazing music from Jikkenteki!

Par-2 is definately a label on my watch list.

    Nice!

  17. What is silly about that? If the condition of getting a track from an artist is that you don't share it, you DON'T share it. A promise is a promise, it's as simple as that. I don't have any unreleased Etnica "killers", but I do get tracks from artists occassionally and the ONLY time they leave my hard drive is if I send them to my partner for release consideration. Anyways, enough about that. I'd like to see a lot of these unreleased tracks finally properly released (I know there are some people working towards that goal in some cases), especially the lost Chi-A.D. album.
  18. My first exposure to any sort of sequencer was when I got my first synth, a Yamaha SY-85 back in 1992 so that would have made me 19 I guess. I never touched a computer based sequencer until Fruityloops in either 2000 or 2001 so making that final jump to the computer side of music production was a fairly late thing with me being 27 or 28 at the time.
  19. I don't know your source true, but you don't know mine either. I am also talking about the 90's stuff. .... Oh and by the way, my dad can beat up your dad.... Just kidding...
  20. From what I hear about the Etnica crew's production habits back in the day (from reliable sources) I would guess its very unlikely you are only missing 3 or 4 unreleased tracks.
  21. Science Of The Gods is by far one of my most favorite albums of all time in the electronic field of music and one of the few cds I've ever had to buy a second because I wore the original out. I don't always get into everything they have released, but I can readily see that even the stuff I don't like so much is still good. Another thing I really like about them is that they aren't afraid to release damn near anything under the "Eat Static" name. It really irks me sometimes when artists feel the need to change their name for any tiny stylistic change of vaguely different side project regardless of how small the said change is. I wish more artists were willing to show some depth and experimentation under their "proper" artist name. I'm probably wrong, but all this hair splitting just doesn't seem good for the scene both in terms of open minded-ness and in terms of marketing. But I digress...... Eat Static kicks ass
  22. All the Neptune CDs we received addressed for were sent. I recall there was one winner whose address we never received so one copy never went out. Perhaps that was yours? I'd look it up but the company who provided our server service completely crapped out a while back and I lost almost all of my email. I know one winner in the Long Walk Home give away got lost in that same server crash problem as well
