  1. I would first like to hear the original unmastered versions + compare it with the mastered versions we already have on CD. Then see if actually it was the lack of mixing and good production or the mastereing thatw as the blame.
  2. Ow my God, what a cute puppy entered the room , but it hates me - sad face - with many many others, congratulations!!! "Is it that why you were placing rude comments all over our label facebook page?" And yes I'm a very very bad boy, euhm label manager Can you give me advice? I can pay you! I'm stupid, but rich(pa). But, don't worry mate: our latest CD was turning break-even in the 3rd month already PLUS...how did you know we were teaming up to destroy Suntrip? Damned: our sceem has been discovered! I told the league of super criminals to be more carefull, i'll have to sent them back to the "Gulag Archipel" where they shall be punished by the ghost of Stalin: hard time!!!! But as I expected, in this hyper sensitive puppy society, everyone takes any grain of critic as a personal attack and starts thinking there is a war of the worlds going on - so insucure... Off the record: Not being convinced by some one else's arguments is the freedom we fought for the last centeries. "IMMANUEL KANT - aufklerüng" Any way (on topic again): Can't wait for 2nd Merr0w album. One of my favourite neo goa acts. Rude, straight in your face and nasthy - play back the 1997's Will never forget his first live set in Belgium: my ears still hurt: thx!!! <3 PS A question that is longer on my mind: "Will there ever be a succesor for Apsara?" Imo the best (no lies) melodic compilation of the neo goa era.
  3. Nice my puppies will arrive soon: they need good music to welcome them home - moehahaha!!!
  4. Would it be better if we can compare the non-mastered track and the mastered track? See what the diffrence is and where you came from. Is the track without limiters on the master channel or not? And what is the uploaded quality? Wav/flac or mp3?
  5. This is one of the best chill albums ever made... Complex in structure, deep, ... all you need for wondering in a dark creepy, though fairy tale-ish story. Extremelly atmospheric, not only by creating a good sound, or production (wich is so damn high here and sounds so fucking professional), but also the emotions put into it made only stronger by the well put voice samples. My Equators hardly can handle the intensity of this music Also the mixing of the sound layers is done perfectly: gives it a smooth overall, gliding feeling. The sound they made is very unique, what makes is stand out far and high from the more generic neo chill out of these days or most of the ultimae & Co stuff that seems it has been produced in the same studio with the same settings. Nothing but good about this CD. I always wished they'd made more off this stuff 10/10, and I wish I could give'm more . what the hell, I'd say: 15/10
  6. Love this album!!!
  7. track 2 has me gone all mad all last night here Wonderfull, just wonderfull stuff. The real psytrance is back!!! Reminds me on old Wizzy Noise stuff; so can't be bad. Deep kick, rolling bassline, good melody. Very very welcome in the (neo) goa. Well thought music.
  8. I'm happy I'm not the only one knowing this. The fact that lawyers (of corporations) can sue countries, cause they might harm profits, came from European countries trying to protect their (private) interests in their (old) colonies.
  9. What do you think about this? The so called 'democratic' agreement that's on the roles between the EU and the USA. Please state and phrase your arguments Pro or contra: make a valid point. We are here to learn In my opinion the biggest problem with this agreement is: 1) There is an ultimate secrecy about it, what always makes we suspicious. Democracy should be about openness. 2) It gives too much power too big cooperations. Not because they want to protect their interests, but that the agreement states it can be done by lawyar and we all know that due to procedural ethics you can buy 'justice' these days. Smaller companies will drain in a swap of regulations and not be able to stand against big firms. This will lead to more world domination of even fewer 'player' on the - what we still call - the free market. Interesting article to start with: http://www.politico.com/agenda/story/2016/06/european-union-trade-cheese-geographical-indicators-000141

    Don't!!! OOPS TOO LATE
  11. This album reminds me a lot of old Wizzy Noise ...at some point almost the same structure and screemingness. What can't be bad. PS Draeke: any news about that Wizzy music? It was already legend you guys managed to release one of their unrl tracks
  12. You still didn't convince me (the toughts are free) Why? Cause you talk in very general words about the neo goa scene in the movie (also like the text of the female voice comment). And the movie is about many topics: old goa (and how it still can be played today), change in the scene and later the so called revival of goa, and to end BOOM festival itself. So that is why I don't believe this a 'docu' about one label alone. ...and yes I agree: if the docu is about one label, you don't mention others. Correct! ...think about my words what you will, I just tried pointing things out peace out...
  13. 1) Simple, cause the video title says "resurgence of goa", (look at 0:08 for movie title) and if it is the case one conciders himself as a ambassador of the scene - as we all are in our unique way - you (better) talk in general terms. Promote the whole as it manifest as a broad movement: cause in the end every one is replacable: dj's artists, labels,... Plus I think the scene is rather small, so we should articulate us much more in that way we show unity and we all are in it togheter. 2) Plus, in the video it is about THE BALKAN REGION (check 3:07) that is full of new artists, not Serbia alone. The Balkan region is pretty diverse: Greece, Macedonia, Kosovo, Montenegro, Croatia, Slovenia, Serbia and Montenegro. That means more variety of artists could have been be mentioned, instead mainly artists of one label. This way it may seem only one label is the driving force of the goa scene today, which is just not true It is all about perception. 3) Like you said - and I agree: this is way broader than the labels and the resurgence has nothing to do with self promo or personal succes 4) Also: Resurgence is a wrong term I guess. Goa never died. Look at the discogs data base. There were tons of (free) Goa releases between 2000 and 2004... ... and it isn't true Goa ever died out and needed a resurgence; it was actually much more active than we think. I once made a post about it: there were so many Goa releases and (small) parties in that period - I can look up the list if you want. There just appeard new labels that sold CDs and the old labels released diffrent stuff or went defunct... (and do we really need labels to make Goa alive? haha! ) And before some people interpretates this as a "anti" post, just because you don't agree, the reason why the post is made cause I think it is vital that the correct info is spread. The Goa scene is a very complex and socialy holistic manifestation: we all work very hard to save the music we all love so much, and that's the most vital and key point here. And in this context a healthy discussion is needed: otherwise it shall have no stable fundation on wich next generations can build upon. We are doing a natural thing of life here, namely making a discussion, so oposing things being stated, not making psychological warfare ...for example: look at all the negative comments on releases in the review section. We should be happy about that too. It means this scene is a live and that we can (and must) dare to contradict eachother. What a dull world it would be if we couldn't?! kissies

@ Richpa Final: Belgium - Croatia Cronomi vs Neogoa
  15. QFT!!! But by crumbling down they try and take as many down with'm. Time the world stands up to them soon...
  16. For me "Electric Universe" is the guy/master of the percussion Very techno-ish like it should be!!!
  17. This is the biggest problem these days: copy paste styled 'goa'. Still I think - like said by others here before - this CD is an effort to get away from that. That's a good thing ...so good luck. The album is well worth the positive attention. <3 The rest what I wrote below, is in my opinion, the reasons why so many newer goa is so a like. ...and what I also notice is that it starts bugging people more and more in the scene, that everyone sounds the same and overall too generic. I made this post also when we were discussing almost the same topic on Sonya's fb (ManMadeMan): to my suprise it got many likes there (especially from elder people/goa artists like Sonya and Hallucinogen,...). QUOTE: "1) Many festivals book "old" names, because the general public thinks only older goa is always better (but believe me, my collection is also full of crappy older goa). Stuck in dates, they care much less about newer (quality) goatrance. Never giving it a fair chance and judge it upon its quality. 2) Because of this newer generations (festival organisers, listeners,…) hardly give new names a chance (unless you 'fake' hype yourself - with cross bookings & the friends-booking-friends carusel) they recive less visibilaty and newer names always have to fight much harder. 3) The two above make it that also (bigger) festivals always book the same old (hyped/recycled) names cause they are a sure thing. People come for names, not music. Festivals sell an experience, not music anymore. ...but I must add on one very important thing: most new goa producers don't have lived the old psychedelic rock, acid, house, new beat, techno,...were goa utimatly was a blend off. They mainly just copy the 'old' names' sound or copy eachother (or that what is mearly populair). They lack musical skills, create a superficial sound and don't have this rich musical history most 'old' (quality) names have. In my opinion the scene now isn't rich with what we call artists that put productionquality as a priority. They must become more people who create something unique: soundwise, soundscapes, complex stories, a resonating deep bassline or a dynamic and rich percussion or a deep kick. They aren't much of artists with a creative force driving them to the perfection music deserves. So in the end the scene today needs to look for good new quality music and give that a fair chance + the general public in the scene (as well the festival organisers) need to search for good music, oblige and demand that (new) artists nowadays do an effort to create good unique music, instead of just typing in notes into a program… ...and now comes why I stated the above: When I was talking with one of the founding 'fathers' of goa he added: “You weren't booked in Goa – India – back in the days if you didn't do or create something unique and quality wise top. Well, it is time the scene strives more for quality and this new music will promote itself and will be high in demand; just like the good old music still is.Togheter we create a better scene, it is like a social structure in which we all take a part (read: responsability) if we want to sustain it(s quality)."
  18. Cute release: just good enough to wake my 1 month old puppies No, really nice stuff: good luck guys It's nice to have a proof that not al newer goa has to be generic and can be melodic in another - more subtle - way. Love the cover btw
  19. Great you play at BOOM But I'd change one thing in the movie @ 2:00 and say "production is important" It always was/is vital for evey artist than means serious busines in creating music as a whole (in every music style). Good monitors start to vomit sound when production is low The best (real) artists were not only musicans, but also very good in the studio with a) unique sound colors, very good mixing, c) a good mastering job and d) good refined melodies they played into the machine instead of programming notes. Production is ruled out much these days, that is correct. But it show in the populairity of older goa: every generation again when searching in dept, grasps more to the older goa than the newer goa. PS If you find me 5 (big old skool goa) artists who say this isn't true, that production is vital for good Goa, post here their quotes & mails, so I can spam them PPS "M-Run" also plays in Croatia, and is next to Goasia the biggest from there - gets booking requests from Brasil to israël
  20. Indeed, with proper mixing and production level this could have some potentional. Certainly around 5:54...very goa feeling overall, so for that this track is very good imo! Classic tempo, not too fast, not a cliché over the top melody. I hope you improve the production skills cause love it (no joke)...funky vibe. If heard this track, without knowing it is yours, I'd say it was a very old (and bad mastered) goa track from '95 You took all the ingredients and mixed them into goa: techno, house, trance, acid,..Instead of copying 'the' goa sound from others and generating this generic neo goa. Well done <3
  21. His new album - expected soon after the summer (delay due to technical troubles @ studio with few tracks). Will contain the same style as the EP (old tracks from the 90's) and new work.
  22. Working on it, but the best idea's ripen long time
  23. Perfect track list. Great job "Oktoman" A good blend of diffrent styles & 'old and new'. Could motivate new guys to strive for the sample quality that tends to make us still graps more to the old instead of the new. Plus this gives old guys the opportunity to evolve and be accepted by the scene now for what they do (instead of did) Better variation in tracks/styles and quality than most newer goa compilations, who tend to go all in the same mono-styled direction imo. This blend sounds very promising. Deep sounds, rolling baselines (+ not to forget: complex melodies in the baslines) and deep resonating kicks. Complex stories that can be called mind challenging, no over the top pseudo 'melodic' activity. Melodies today are often mistaken with 'programming notes in a bar' Gonna buy this puppy Spacedock for the win Note: + I'm happy and trilled more than one label recognizes the mastereing quality of M-Run (and Artha and M-Run tracks... <3 They didn't make it on the albums , but they are winners for sure <3 )
  24. Ow yeah!!! That's a great one
  25. Well, than you are gonna love our release end 2016 Expect a suprise after the Artha CD
