I tought there would be some more philosophical reflection in the (PLUR) goa scene Another example: Chi - a.d. - The Ocean also dreams https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=R3O7qyR2B2w Moral of the story (imo - and what I can see in it) isn't only the emotional setting ofthe intro, but also the voice stating "here, man is far from supreme". A good indication we as a species act too arrogant and cionsuming the earth like there is more than one. Respect for things that are bigger than us, instead of quantifying everything and setting control parameters on it for our own benefit...in the end I think that this entire album is a reflection on life. The last track with the raven also indicates that feeling imo.

PF Project - Choose Life I think the moral of the story is that we can be free to choose what we want, but in calculation the 'iron cage' (cf. Charles Taylor - the ethics of authenticity). We tend to think our choice to make is 100% free, but in the end we all hurdle with the masses in a way: we are social animals with a (free) will. The fact is that we can choose how to implement this freedom in a authentic way in our (daily) life. ...let's put the philosophy into trance

When I bought my first Goa CDs in '99, I payed €15 up to €20 for one copy. And to be honest, I think it is still a fair price for a CD on which the artist has work (normally) more than a year on. Art was never cheap... Not mentioning that our basic income increased, while music prices stayed the same or went down. So music has become a lot cheaper in the last 20 years: so I see no reason to complain as a consumer. For the Goa scene I express this hope: one day consumers will re-evaluate their behaviour and choices for those low prices...cause imo the low prices are an insult to those who put so much effort into this. It's not all free love and bla bla. A good studio with some good synths, etc. costs you at least some 1000's of euro's. A good PC for good art work, and the nessecarry skills to do it, too. Think about it.

Very good effort imo. I hope you shall find the time to invest a bit more time in the fluentness of the melodies and make some bass and kicks deeper and some sounds more organic (less generic). Than this music really deserves a real CD album edition with proper art work. Imo this music is much more psychedelic and better produced than the 80% other so called 'neo' goa of these days. It is really funky, psy rock-ish at certain moments and the stories are complete with more and real subtle trance swirling effects: love it. I'd say, go out there and blow the parties with live sets. I'd totally dance and go in trance on these tracks- 24 replies

Storyline, trance flow and melancholic are all perfect in this track. Doesn't get boring at all!!! But I hope it are my speakers here lying to me. But still I feel the sound overal is rather generic and not that deep & organic as what Kris can make. For example: the live rmx of 'master of the universe' is probably the best live rmx ever made: fucking amazing, deep, symphonic and so very complex and intense. So I hope the production level will be as high as we can expect from him. Good luck guys: UX is a big and especially good name

Artha - Dream Telepathy
HappyHorse replied to Starkraver's topic in Artist News and Labels announcements
My silence is due to the (private) situation of Artha. I don't feel like explaining it over and over again here Just try to understand that 85% of our artists have family (wife, kids,...), busy jobs,... stand with two feet right into a complex and rich life where there is much more than only (the) Goa (scene). We, and you guys, shall have to be patient and wait for him (and at the tempo he produces - we are awaiting two tracks that needed a revision by his hand). Cronomi refuses to work with deadlines (I lost that desire to do so a long time ago): our artists pace is our pace - so we create quality before quantity, never pushing for ... cause we simply desire - and yes that there is the low output of the label BUT we as a label are as happy as you guys are about the album: we thank you for your love and patience you had for our music all these years Much appreciated... Happy guys? <3 -

True; but in my region I found one (bio) butcher and one (bio) farmer. And I by almost all my stuff there now. I've been searching for this for years and finally found it and it really made me so much happier and complete (as a human, cause I feel much more in a real connection with nature, my environment, my real true soul and life energy).

I think when an animal has lived in quality, it can be used for food and be killed. BUT in the current way we live and consume most animals are looked upon as a product, not as a sentient being, so I almost quit eating meat. I try and check the origin of the meat and invest time in learning if it was raised in a good healthy and proper way so it had a quality full life. That is the least we can do. Over consumption not only made animals like product, but we pollute the earths atmosphere in a very harsh way. eating less meat can only not help the animals, but also ourselves and the global context (biosphere).

Gonna post me some new goa here ...and yes, I think it is a monster When I first got my hand on his music (given me by Artha, saying: "hey, I have a friend who makes goa trance, plz listen"), I was blown away!!!

Artha is re-editing a few tracks (and art work is in process). Takes time for edit, as unexpected misfortune happened to him (private, so I'm not going deeper into this - but serious enough to have a delay now).
-
Too bad, cause we really can use a bit more original stuff in the neo-goa scene.

With proper production this could a very nice track Nice mate

haha, lol yes: way beyond Also true: Kris, your live remix(es) has been in my possession for some time after you gave it to me years ago. Why is this relevant. let me explain: To be honest the vibe of these live rmx'es never let me go (read I went mentally insane cause the quality of these tracks stunned me every time again and again). I'm not joking! They contain such an amazing vibe: organic, symphonic, massive,... Especially symphonic, what - imo - no one has done so well as you! I don't think there is - imo - any other goa artist who makes such a rich and spiced up live performance (besides a few exceptions). Playing these (old) tracks live is a must Unless your new music is even better than the old; that f...ck that shit -

Don't worry Well, I contacted Tal personally. He sells the CD too. Don't know what happens to all who already payed him in advance (pre order); but Tal is a live and I think everyone can contact him for the CD. I hope -
Very long time ago I posted a dj mix; wel here it it A tribute to the "Goa Head" series; and it was no lie: it is the "best of goa trance & psychedelic techno" https://soundcloud.com/dj_inada/dj-inada-cronomi-rec-tribute-to-goa-head-mix
