I don't get the drama here. I just posted 2 video's who show - imo - an alternative truth. Content I support after my own research (how imperfect that can be) If someone can't take that, it is up to them... #relax ...and I finished with a ironic joke: "this puppy is back into the basket". Don't take this too personnel It's just a forum. And everybody can have their truth, especially if there is no intention to harm one another. The rest is history. PS Belgians are used to it, people feel superior to us BUT we still have the best chips, beer, chocolate, fucked up (read over complicated) political system: eat that!!!

  4. Cronomi also uses bandcamp for several years now. Is very useful if you want to be independent from distributors who take a very big part of your sales money. Advantage is also - for the buyers - you can listen in full length (I also prefer that instead of samples that in the end say not much).

Haha! I don't want to take credit. Don't worry Another quote (that I like and support): Ron Paul Institute for Peace and Prosperity - 12 december at 17:07 "The CIA was founded to undermine democracy overseas, to overturn elections, to influence internal politics of sovereign countries, to destabilize governments. And to lie to us about it. Should we believe a mainstream media report that the CIA believes the Russians manipulated US elections to get Trump elected? Or is the supposed CIA assessment itself a form of coup against the US elections? Have the coups come home? Jacob Hornberger looks back at the CIA coups through history in this important piece..."
  6. Goa Head, Distance to Goa, Destination Goa,... all were found during the 90's in big main stream shops. Labels printed easily 5000/10 000 copies of each release, so the music was much more wide spread and commercial. Artists were (in some cases) even forced by labels to redo tracks so it was more accessible to a bigger audience (heard that story some weeks ago from a artist). Also prices went down a lot. When I bought my first CDs in '99, there were €20/25, now music is €10 (average), while the average wage went up more percentage wise (and we still complain about high music prices - lol). As far I'm concerned goa has never been so underground as it is now (talking about goa, not full on, dark, progressive,... I have no feeling with that scene as I not actively move in it).
  7. I think that is the most spot on I've read so far; regarding an analytic approach on Artha's music. I feel the same way. You understand the music & the why of this mastering In general: it makes me happy Artha's music loosens so many (positive) emotions.
  8. Always some recordings, but not that good so you can hear all the music well. I found some good pictures though... Well, went up stage just before Oforia and after Shidapu, and this was the floor (1500 people) Another amazing experience. Too bad I had to refuse 3 extra parties due to busy job schedule
  9. Ow yes, didn't mention that yet, but I'm on the ZNA ambassadors list. So, those who wants a ticket, let me know in a pm. I receive the tickets next week ...and sold already a few in the first day. Happy Wednesdays
  10. Yes yes, Cronomi is very hot these days. THX for all the kind words and honest feedback on our latest album, namely ARTHA ...it was so much input for us, noting it was only released for a bit more than a week ago from now We couldn't be more happy and delighted to share this 4 years worth of hard work with you, and off course we expected it to be so well received by the scene ...no joke: with the resulting extra bookings in Israel - the biggest goa scene in the world - for example and the many sales already. Thanks for the support, it makes us able to start up the next project, keep it coming, it takes us loser to the next pearl So yes, this is a good news show, not as a promo tool, but cause you guys made it happen. So thanks to you, you are Cronomi!!! What takes us to the next item (mystery) We are happy to announce the track list of the next album (yes not a v/a) is completed. Soon we will announce the logo and maybe something more? (mystery)

  12. Time to reply all you, my cute puppies who were brave enough to speak your mind in a honest way... The fact there are so many reactions to a single release says enough. here we go: Exactly: and - I explained that already on this forum - Artha's music was a bit hard mixed on the high tones, so this type of mastering (without not willing to be responsible for any ear damage) we decided for this version, that appeared on the album. Yes it is a bit more basy, BUT it was - after long discussions and internal debate - the best option. Mathias (aka Dragon Twins who is sound engineer), Sara (aka dj Psara) and I decided that this - out of 2 versions - sounded the best on our monitors (Equator D7 and Adams F7). In our humble opinion there is too little excellent newer goa trance that is worth releasing. (here we go? ) We are as big as it can be according to the standards we have set to ourselves and what we accept as quality music that is good enough to be durable over the decades to come. That is why we accept all feedback here and always try - as much as it is possible - to integrate it into Cronomi. In that way all well funded feedback is assimilated in the label: in other words, you are Cronomi. Yes, we make it quiet difficult on ourselves, but at the same time very easy: we know exactly want we want. makes it very easy to scroll trough the promotional materials we receive. Yes, our promo isd a bit obscure, BUT I'm grown up in a time without internet and cell phones and we had to look for new music. And we still believe that: good music always promotes itself. No need to 'push' people online into it by spamming them (...I found that out by reading it into those exact words into a promotional group just a few weeks ago. Confirming what I was already thinking for some years now). You don't need to apologise, BUT it makes my hart warm you find the time to do so I'm trilled to see this music triggered your mind. This is a huge compliment to Artha himself. We are happy the music itself -and not a hype or hollow internet promo - made change your mind. And you see dreams are always surpassed by the reality. THX, and never forget, you are very welcome THX for your detailed comment. I surprises me every time, that Cronomi gets mainly the most detailed feedback on their releases. I'm wondering why In general: let us not forget - not to dismiss your feedback here - we are only human, so is the artist. We always make the choices inside Cronomi very very,... well thought. We sleep sometimes several weeks over 1 decision (like the mastering). It never goes over one or two night. We even hold skype-meetings to discuss and further discuss some matters. Trough a democratic process we aim for the best quality achievable.
  13. Best dissension of his life. Much respect he knows his priorities.
  14. A few months ago I saw the episode of "That 70's show" where it came from. It felt like coming home I'm very glad you like that track; it is indeed amazing. I wanted to include a downtempo track to grasp back a bit to some older albums & compilations of the 90's who also did that. I very much liked that they put a slow track at the end; made the story some what more complete.
  15. That we are working on a very similar release to this Maybe even better!? Due to the delay of the Artha album now, we postponed this one a few months into beginning/medio 2017 (but the music is ready!!!)
  16. I'm very happy you noticed the difference. You have a keen ear I was very intentional and well thought, we took this decision to choose for this mastering version. We have done two by M-Run. Mathias (Dragon Twins), dj Psara and I decided we opt for the 2nd version. WHY? The 1st version was in our opinion on our studio monitors (Equator D7 and Adam 7) still too spiky and hurtful for the ears. So we opt for a 2nd version where those spikes were 'reduced' and indeed the music sounded a bit more with base and the details could be heard better in the mid and high section. The main issue is that the original tracks are mixed a bit hard on the high tones. And we wanted to avoid ear damage at all costs and no noise on the speakers. So this mastering is a compromise in a way...
  17. I actually like it, BUT... it sounds good as a very solid beginning of a track in the making. For example X999 @ 5:15 - 5:30 is amazing, when worked out better it would be very nice dreamy and melodic goatrance. same goes for X1000 @ 5:25 - 6:05.
  18. Well, I normally would agree here with you, but this is good modern production. It has loads of warmth and depth and sounds very good mixed. Plus the mastering doesn't sound all over cristal clear and noisy. Stuff much newer goa doesn't have. Buying it... Full support to zion604 here...
  19. Indeed I know That is why. BUT also cause I didn't always find all the exact locations of some samples. Even if the series or movies it came from was given there, sometimes it wasn't specified what episode or scene it came from etc,...or the source was mentioned, but couldn't find the movie or series, or video online myself.
  20. I'd love to hear and see some video's some more where goa-voice samples came from Can be movies, commercials, series,... Post'm here. 1) Poem from Jim Morisson Etnica fanboys (like) know the first 2 lines certainly -> Link: -> Track: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KoiigNpUswg 2) Gulliver's travels (1996) Watch the end I'm sure you know it appeared in a track from CHI-ad -> link: http://vidzi.tv/u6ypnzmnlyph.html#close -> track:
  21. Chill babe These are CDs - 30 already - sold directly by our label dj's - who were the first to receive the CDs - to their close friends. You can order here by sending me a pm (as I'm the label manager) or wait until it is on bandcamp (after the weekend) THX for your enthusiasm
  22. Not yet, but the first are already sold and on their way Marek added it on the database as he ships the Cds
  23. Yes, we just received the shipping tracking code of the CDs Didn't feel the urge to reply sooner, cause I had no info yet. They will arrive in one week. We don't work with pre-orders (I don't see any use in it any more). So be ready: one week ARTHA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! <3
