  1. I clicked this thread thinking it was news of a 'Around the World In a Tea Daze' remix. You can't begin to imagine how disappointed I am.
  2. Slinky Wizard - The James Bond Theme 'License to Slink'
  3. Mandra Gora - Wicked Warp
  4. Beth Orton - Daybreaker (Four Tet Remix)
  5. The Killing Joke Remixes album on Dragonfly Records is pretty dark, not dark like dark-psy though, more a mix of heavy-metal and psy. It's quite good.
  6. Tracy Chapman - Revolution
  7. Beth Orton - The Other Side Of Daybreak (EMI Records)
  8. Shpongle - Around The World In a Tea Daze (Ott Remix)
  9. You lucky bastard.
  10. Hallucinogen's Twisted does indeed feature a fabulous opening sequence though I prefer The Lone Deranger's as it's beautifully trippy and really creates the atmosphere that you're entering a whole new dimension. Younger Brother's Flock of Beeps is another opening sequence I like, again very psychedelic, oh and Ott's Hallucinogen In Dub where the ticking clock slows down. Brilliant.
  11. Boris Blenn - Portamento
  12. They didn't actually kill him though, did they?
  13. I appreciate it's unwise to judge the whole hip hop scene based on what I've heard but I still do so anyway and believe most people do the same, regardless of genre.
  14. Don't anyone reply with a yawn either.
  15. Sexy, Colombian Shakira?
  16. Posford will create the next big thing. Don't anyone dare respond with a sigh.
  17. It irritates me because what I've heard I consider mindless rubbish created by talentless people who are under the illusion they're someting special. The artists come across as arrogant and that's not something I find attractive. It also irritates me because the music conveys no emotion I can relate to. Maybe if I was living in a rough city dealing with guns and crack and harassed by the police every day I could connect to it, but I don't, I live in a tiny village in the Welsh mountains. I have no interest in guns, Gucci, Mercedes, violence, dollars and bitches. These things mean nothing to me. I consider them shallow topics not worthy of my time. Lastly, and most importantly, I just don't like the sound. Give me pianos, cellos, violins, acoustic guitars and oboes any day. Hehe, yeah, I was joking.
  18. I always feel protective of radi, I don't know why. In this case it's probably because I also strongly dislike hip hop. I just can't identify with the music, it only conjures annoyance and irritation in me.
  19. Indeed.
  20. I'd think twice before buying any albums based on the list as it's commonly acknowledged the vast majority of Psynews members have terrible taste. Truth is you'd probably attain better additions to your personal collection by visiting a gypsy, crossing her palm with silver, and requesting she study the tea leaves for recommendations.
  21. Good, but not as good as UX's Dominion.
  22. I feel the reason most people don't like psy trance is simply because it doesn't connect with them, neither on a mental, spiritual or physical level. I don't believe it has anything to do with musical perception or not 'getting' it, it's just that trance doesn't excite them in any way. It's akin to beauty being in the eye of the beholder, good music is in the ear of the beholder.
  23. I know, I'm a real charmer.
