  1. I think Heva means it's easy to smuggle in narcotics. It's a good thing.
  2. I prefer Meteor to Moonchild and I prefer Meteor 2004 to Meteor.
  3. I'm listening to jazz, yes, jazz.
  4. That's what I do, though more out of necessity than choice as I have a Gamecube which don't accept audio CDs. That's what's good about the Xbox/Xbox 360, they can stream audio files directly from the internal hard drive while you're playing your favourite game. It's a good feature.
  5. Trance music could have been created specifically for videogames, they go together so well, especially racing games and shoot 'em ups. When playing a game and listening to trance I sometimes find if I concentrate harder on the music (as opposed to the game) I do better at the game. I sorta enter a mild state of hypnosis and settle down into the grrove, after that playing the game comes naturally, it's almost automated.
  6. I disagree and feel the greats have merely scratched the surface of what is possible in their respective genres. It's peculiar but everyone's such a sensationalist these days. An artist, responsible for what many consider are the two greatest albums the scene has ever produced (Twisted and Are You Shpongled?), releases a remix that's below average and suddenly everyone thinks he's lost it and is done for. It's rather queer.
  7. No worries, I didn't think you were being offending.
  8. Doesn't go with psytrance at all, no, but then only around 25% of the music I listen to is psy trance. I liken the world of music to a giant orchard. Why restrict yourself to just the citrus family (ie psy trance) when there are so many wonderful fruit to delight in? I enjoy most forms of music, every style stirs a particular emotion better than the next. They all have a place in my life.
  9. Not heard of any of the live acts, though that probably says more about me than it does the festival.
  10. Jimmy Hendrix - Purple Haze
  11. The debate continues.
  12. Rolling Stones - You Can't Always Get What You Want
  13. £15.
  14. Whatever the very first full-on track is, it has a lot to answer for.
  15. For uplifting, euphoric melodies I'd suggest Astral Projection and MFG. Oh, and maybe some early Electric Universe stuff.
  16. The sentence was grammatically poor but the message was clear enough.

  18. I dunno if it's insane to spend £150 on a CD, all depends on how much joy you extract from it. Five years ago I payed just shy of £100 for a very rare Japanese CD (classical music fused with very subtle electronic music). In that time I've probably listened to it twice a week, so say I've listened to it roughly 500 times, it means I've paid 0.20 pence each time I've played it. That's pretty good value for money as far I'm concerened, especially as it remains one of my favourite CD's.
  19. I don't listen to psyradio, I'm a BBC Radio whore. BBC Radio 2 for topical debates and good old-fashioned music, Radio 3 for classical music, and Radio 4 for news and current affairs. It's all I ever need.
  20. Oh right.
  21. Led Zeppelin - The Lemon Song
