Man with no Name is one of the best artists in goa history for sure, just listen to this track and you will not disagree to that anymore. this remake is as impressive as goa trance gets.

Because I found out that with the location ust one week ago when I was in that alpine town. In general however I think that when the conditions at the current town are bad, internet contacts are at least a way to talk to someone and for sure am happy that I can talk to some internet contacts like here on psynews or my remote friends on facebook. Anyway it is going well on the forum lately, it is more active gain and I am happy with that, however I don´t think I have any mental illness but instead don´t have the best conditions at the moment.

I just wanted to say, that when it comes to goa trance, UK has one artist that is really a competitor against Israel, Martin Freeland. He is definatly on par with the best Israelian artists, but Israel did have more than one artist like that, however Martin Freeland is another class.

altough UK artists undoutably produced impressive psytrance, I think the UK scene is overrated. UK is incredible when it comes to ambient and dub, but when it comes to psyntrance and goa trance, Uk was not always the leader. Countries like Israel, italy and Germany influenced the scene a lot and artists like Astral Projection, MFG, and Electric Universe produced some legendary memorable goa trance tracks. The emotion, energy and brightness of Israel is something that UK never reached. Israel is a warm and sunny country, whereas the UK is colder and more rainy, therefore the music is darker aswell. I don´t know if that is the case or not, but in general the music from UK is definatly darker than the music from Israel and I like the bright music of Israel. I think Israel was better than Uk when it comes to goa trance.

I decided to extent my knowledge of gao trance and therefore listened a taste of transient yesterday, all tracks on that compilation are impressive masterpeaces. One of the unknown tracks however really got my attention with the incredible goa melodies and the incredible sound. It is the track Sunb Unity network - Lost world. The track has an incredible melody and is very geniune and electronic in sound. Are other tracks by this groub at the same level or is this a special track by them? This track is a real discovery, since it is one of the great goa trance songs for sure. I must check other stuff of Transient, since Transient was one of the best goa trance labels. I also have to check other goa trance labels. I went through the discography of Flying rhin, but almost everything from that label is familiar to me.

there will be Radish vs Imba tracks for sure the next time, I will start some tracks and send them to him. But if there will be such tracks, the tracks will be some of the best masterpeaces of this year, so cross your fingers.

I do not complain about the consequences, in this thread I simply talked about how to get new contacts in a twon, that has nothing to do with my behaviour and the concequences. Some people even like that I am an openminded person who is not limited because he thinks, if I do something that is not labelled normal, people will laugh at me. Taking drugs and listening psychedelic trance aren´t labelled normal everywhere aswell, so I don´t see how I should be different if I do some more things that aren´t labelled normal. Another thing that is not crazy is, to be obsessed with something. If I am obsessed with goa trance, that is not unnormal and I am not ill for that. If I talk often about it, that is not something unnormal. People living in the mountains for example talk abou the mountains every day.

I will go through this another time, but you can trust me, I don´t have any of those illnesses. It is really rediculous by you to label me ill because I don´t behave according to some rules that fall under the category normal for you? I am not a normal person, I have different eyes to normal people and therefore some differencies might come, but I am not ill. You can see it like that, I am a person who is free of limitations like you and others. I am not stick to some rules of behaviour that are labelled as normal, simply because I am not affraid of the concequences. You and many other people don´t really do what they like, they will never do it, because they will think it not normal, therefore they wil not do it. For example I like girl feet and legs, many people probably do it secretly, but they will never admit it, they will think they are not normal because of some imbeciles who say they are not normal, altough there is ntohing wrong with that. I don´t know about you in detail, but I can tell you in general that many people don´t do what tehy want because they are social animals and are afraid that if they don´t do the right thing, they will not have any friends left, and those friends would quit the friendship with them, because they think, others wont be friends with them. I am not like that, only I decide what is normal for me, whether you or anyone else likes it or not or consideres it normal or not. Tomorrow I may go and pay a girl to wank on her long feet with white socks, and if I do it is my decision, whether you consider it normal or consider it a rediculous kind of syndrome. People should get up and realise that their thoughts are free. You should listen to Star Trek and look at their philosophy, where everything is allowed and people who are different wont be diagnosed anything. So, if I don´t fit in your terms of normal and have difficulties getting along with people, who are limited, it is not my fault. I am not like other people Yason, I tolerate everything and want others to tolerate everything. I would not be annoyed if someone would talk about something with me for hours, I would not stop him. I am not a demanding person who limits others. I am open for different things and can talk about anything. On the other hand I find it good when people are like me aswell. I don´t like people who would say, you get on my nerves when you talk about something. Many people always come with their nevers, if a person talks about thigns taht are strange to them. But I am not like that, Sorry if my responce was rough and not what you wanted to hear, but I wanted to make it clear that psychical illnesses very by definition. Some people consider something an illness, which is not an illness in fact, it is just a difference. An illness is, when you can´t remember or can´t do some things others can, but even then it is not neccessarily an illness.

Maybe there are but only with few tracks released. Otherwise why is it that when I ask for recommendations, people have hard time giving me the right recommendation. Is any artist different to the other artist?

But I know the less known artists aswell, just that I don´t like their music that much. The oldschool goa scene was not that big that I would know only 6 percent of. If it were like that, were would be hundrets of tracks that I would like, when I ask somehone for recommendations however, he mostly mentions music I allready know, so it is hardly 6 percent that I know.

How much good tracks do you think you miss in your favourite genre of psychedelic trance. Now we know a lot of tracks, but also don´t know a lot of tracks. I month I discover new tracks, some are very old, and I like them a lot. Last year I discovered many gems like Aquarian Spirit by Boris Blenn. I am sure discogs doesn´t list everything there is and even if it lists most releases, when do we check them all ou. There are so many releases, so many labels that I really think, we don´t know anything there is. Personally I would say I know 60 percent of oldschool goa trance 5 percent of psychedelic ambient 5 percent of newschool goa trance How many percent of your favourite genres have you listened too?

Indeed, the first albums of Xerox and Illumination and Xerox and Freeman are really psychedelic in my opinion. I don´t know about Audialize, have to check it out aswell.

What is good full on for you? For me good full on is Xerox and Freeman and Logic bomb.

Aktually the landscape on that picture doesn´t look ugly at all, altough the Alps are much better. I was at the alps this weekend in Oberstdorf, nice mountains there. I hope you can move away from Vienna if you want and move to Linz. Vienna is expensive as you say, I don´t like expensive cities at all. In the German Alps for example prices for foot are lower than in the area I am. While a sandwich with meat costs 2,60 there, it costs up to 3,50 here.

gmunden is the town I was talking which has mountains and a big lake. Impressive landscape in my opnion. The landscape north of the danube looks strange on the map, I have not seen it in real live, but it seems very hilly and the hills are rather small. Anyway, what do you mean with we had the landscape discussion before? Do you mean by that, that it is wrong I started it again. Maybe I forgot that we had that discussion, I remember that I talked about landscape with RTP, but not with you.

Linz is indeed a good pace to be. I am not sure about Graz. If I were in Austria, I would want to see some mountains, but I think you can see the mountains from Linz and from Graz. Austria has such a great landscape in my opinion. A really great country to listen and enjoy music. The landscape makes listening trance a real pleasure, but south Germany is also very nice, it has some steep mountains and big meadows, however not as good as Austria. In my opinion big meadows with steep mountains in the distance and a big lake is incredible for listening goa trance. Not far away from Linz there are steep mountains and big lakes. An impressive place in Austria is Hallstatt, great mountains, but far away from Linz. Another gerat place in my opinion is around Villach. Really wild and steep mountains. But that is Kärnten and you don´t want to live in Kärnten. One question, do you like your country and it´s landscape?

I saw an interview of Astral Projection and they said just that. It is a big shame they are not releasing their unreleased stuff, because I am really sure there are many gems on their unreleased tracks. I would love it so much to listen to many more tracks by that incredible group, together with MFG.

So why don´t you go to a different place in Austria? Austria is such a nice country with so many interesting places to be in the alps, it is one of my dream countries. Kernten Salzburg area is impressive, but also Lienz and other areas are great to live. But if you have your work in Vienna, I understand that you stay in Vienna.

I see it when they talk about living a very expensive life and spending many thausands of € for a hotel room or having many fast cars and a yacht and inviting woman to the most expensive restaurants there are, just to impress them. In Germany there are a few such people that are fammous for their arrogance, but this is not only in Germany the case, but in the rest of the world aswell. I can´t imagine such people give money to the poor people.

I do worry about them and might donate some organisations in future. However not I but very reach guyss should worry about them. Persons who have many luxurious sports cars in their garages and own many houses with big properties. They live in pure luxury and spend many thausand € but don´t donate anything. When I see such people I become very angry. They could easily support many people, but most of them don´t support anyone but prefer to keep all the money for themselfes. Penzoline, And the reason why goa is not a very profitable scene is because most people download the music and don´t buy the tracks. If they woudl at least buy some of the tracks, goa could be a profitable scene and artists could be motivated with money for releasing good music. Money should not be a reason for producing music, but it is always a nice gift, reach artists deserve in my opinion for releasing good music.

Why stop talking about money? Money is the first motivation for an artist to produce good music and all the big artists have stopped producing good goa trance because people wanted something different. If you think the big artists produce music only because they love the music, you are mistaken. The smaller artists do it for sure, but money plays a role, especially for the big artists. If money would not play a role, there would be enough good music for all of us.

So as I thought about it when I made a post in the Astral Projection thread, I am asking people here, what the minimal income would be, to have a good living throughout the year, not a luxurious one, but not a poor one aswell. For me it would be about 12 000 if I had to pay rent for a small apartment somewhere in a German based country, maybe a bit more in Switzerland. If I had my own apartment, where I don´t have to pay anything, 6000 to 8000 would be more than enough. 8000 would be plentyful. If you live alone and can handle money well and know what costs a lot of money, you can live with little money. ONe person in Germany would barely need more than 200 for eating and drinking at home. If he would go out, additional money would be required, but for eating and drinking 200 is plentyful for only one person. The rest of the money could be divided for going out, for electronical gadgets, music, and books. 100 to 150 would be required for costs like internet, phone, heating, electrcity and the likes. So without the rent for a flat, a person in a german based country could live with 500 to 700 . In some regions 500 would be enough, in other areas 700 would be required. That is at least what I think, but I have not tested it, maybe more is required. The only thing I see is that very little money is required for food and drinks, when someone is alone. a salat, tomates, onions, cheese and other products last weeks when I am alone and I eat very well and healthy. Therefore foot and drinks aren´t that expensive fortunately and I hope it will stay like that. In the worst case you can grow some stuff in your own room if you want. That way I am wondering, how much an artist would need to make a living throughout a year. I guess 15 000 e is more than sufficient for one person in many parts of the world. In eastern europe for example an artist could have a good living with 5000 a year or less.

I wish Icould find 1000 people who would buy the album in order to show that fans are still counting on them and that new oldschool tracks by them would be incredible for the fans. Unfortunately 1000 albums would not be a lot of money for them, but at least something. They would get more money, if 5000 people or more would buy all the tracks on that album as mp3 directly from their site. That way they would earn all the money and get more than 50000 dollars or €. That would stimulate them and other oldschool artists, to produce more albums. If they would earn 50000 € for one album, they could live for one year without doing anything else. They would just have to produce a new album for the next year or do some parties to increase the income. Unfortunately there are many people who don´t buy one single track to suppot the artists.
