I have this track and I odn´t liek it so much because it´s more mainstream, more like Astral Projection - Dancing galaxy, altough it´s a pretty good track with lots of emotions . I am looking for tracks like witchcraft - magic frequencies, witchcraft magic, Johann, Intellect, Stranded, slinky Wizard - Anytime and similar stuff, that´s what I am looking for.

I have some colorbox tracks already and they are too hard for me, they raen´t mild and sound like Indian and Asian goatrance, for example Tinky Pinky or how the track was called, there is also another colorbox track which has very hard sounds, something with grey, tell me if the other colorbox stuff sounds different but the colorbox stuff I have has very hard Bass and sounds. But maybe I have a cd with wrong artist names, it is on a very old Goa trance 3 cd, the goa trance 3 is in green and I´ve heart that the cd is from a Dutch label where fake artists produce tracks and then call after very fammous artists tracks.

why does the thread not continue? I´ve checked some of the stuff recommended but most of it I did not like at all. I´ve checked subcouds, Adrenalin drum, Inscape, I have lots of tuff from flying rhino records. The only new stuff I got which I really like and which represends the unique standart of oldschool goa is witchcraft - magic frequencies and witchcraft magic, both of those tracks are really lovely, they sound exactly how goa should sound. I´ve also checked colorbox and omnimus but I don´t like them at all. do you know something milder, something more goaish, not so hard? something like magic frequencies?

I´ve tried some of the recommended stuff, I tried some Adrenalin drum but unfortunately I didn´t like most stuff. I don´t like Kunadlini at all. I am looking for something milder, not so much Indian sounding. I very authentic track I like very much is Witchcraft - magic frequencies. I´ve checked on psynews but it appears taht Witchcraft has only 3 tracks as a whole, is it right or is the info wrong? I searched for Sandman since it´s the same guy but I found nothing on discogs and that´s sttrange, could you guys please link me to the witchcraft discography so that I can see how many tracks he has or Sandman? I´ve checked the transient stuff but they mostly have the known tracks. I probably should get all the Order ordonata because that are the only real compilations with tracks on them with great analogue synthsounds like the magnificent SH101, that´s really a warmsounding psychedelic synth. I can´t stand too Indian sounding goa stuff but need something authentic like magic fequencies, LSD, Mahadeva 96, the Resistor, far too few artists used the very warm and authetic sounding synths unfortunately, instead bad fx and exotic stuff is being add but very few goa tracks have really good synthpresets.

Radio powernet is probably the best psyradio with biggest oldschool ammount in the psychannel and a great ambient channel.

I forgot to reply to you nemo, but I have the track Afrotrance since a very long time ago and yes, it is very goaish. But it´s not about one track, I want find many new tracks.

I checked the psyko disco stuff but didn´t like any of them. I know one artist with awesome sounding goa called inscape. I have it on greetings from goa and I just checked in discogs, there are very interesting compilations there like "The truth of communication" which really sound promising. I will look for not very well known artists in the big discogs and hope to find great stuff.

No, it´s the other way round, an artist who uses the same melody in the whole track just can´t think of another melody and wants to finish the album quickly because he just has to make out one melody of his head and then varries it a bit. There is a Ra track I know very well, sign of life, which is pretty good but after a few listenings it gets boring if you have to lsiten the whole track, there shouldn´t be one melody for 7 minutes. Even old electric universe tracks like Galaxia, Astral Voyage, sunset skyline and so n altough very simple have more variations. Ra stuff could be way better with changing melodies. The same is with Dimension 5 but I don´t like Dimension 5 anyway. In hallucinogen you can hear the same melody for the whole lengh of the track in Alpha centauri. Alpha centauri but the melodies are like question to answer. the answerlike melody kicks in for the first time at 1:54, the questionlike melody kicks in at 2:23 for the first time and then it´s a play between these melodies, but similar types of melody arrangments you can only hear in very few goa tracks probably only Posford tracks. Ra can´t do such things, he just adds a few more notes at the end of the track and that´s it. They are all euphoric however.

Yes, To sirius was cheesy for me, but if you say the new Ra album is different I can try it. And the building ups were lame, litle built ups of the same melody during the whole track, the melodies themself were good but too little built ups. Dimension 5 is not cheesy but it´s homophone, there are often the same sounds and it sounds very simple.

Same here, I don´t really like the Khetzal, Filteria and Goasia, they sound to me like neophite stuff. Khetzal has way too many sounds and layers in his tracks so there´s no real focus, everything is going on in his tracks but there´s no real atmosphere. Atmosphere doesn´t come from adding lots of layers in cubase or logic just because Khetzal or filteria have a quadcore at 3,6 GHz or a dualcore E8600 @ 5 GHz. For a good atmopshere there must be a balance and fine tuning of the important layers in the song like hallucinogen. There are lots of sounds in hallucinogen but they are al well tuneda and so on. Altough I don´t really like Khetzal and filteria, (a few tracks of Khetzal are ok though) I do like Astrancer, Ethereal, Lost Buddha, and some Afgin stuff. I aktually think they are beter than the bigger guys like Khetzal and Filteria because they have more powerful melodies and their tacks already sound more oldschool goaish not like the extremly cheesy fileria. I never liked cheesy Ra and dimension 5.

No, not tracks I like, I also like less fammous tracks. But the fammous tracks of the scene, they are below 500. If someone recommends tracks to gao newbies will he recommend him Electric universe - Galaxia or mfg - desert suns or Earth nation - An artificial dream (dragonfly rmx). No that are not the most fammous tracks. The fammous tracks are hallucinogen - LSD, Astral projection - Mahadeva and so on which appeared on most comps at taht time and I am sure these tracks are less than 500. you can consider them wellknown if you don´t like the word fammous.

Sure there are, there are many more than 300 tracks, but if you would start making a list of the known and fammous tracks in goa you probably would end up in a list with less than 500, you see that I don´t count tribal oriented stuff like Elysium to the mot fammous stuff, or Hunab Ku for example or the tracks released under other nicks of psychaos.
