Power Gen is indeed a good track but I always liked the Live version better. the sound is softer and more satturated, the atmosphere is much wider and more present. Powergen sound s a bit simple and empty, but this is due to the limitations of that time I guess. the life version sounds more like a track from SFX - The next Millenium or Dancing Galaxy. Very good song.

Instead of posting the videios users could enrich the thread by posting longer posts and really tell why the tracks are great and what they mean to them. Astral Projection is worth more than one sentence to why a track is underrated, at least in my opinion. this is not meant negatively, but I would like this to become an interesting thread and one thread with only videolinks to youtube. @johnb820 Free Tibet and PowerGen are indeed great tracks by Astral Projection and I think Free Tibet is one of the better tracks by Astral Projection.

I thought maybe some other artists have released such material or maybe Nova Fractal, altough everything I heart from Nova Fractal was like New Kind of World stuff and not The Prophecy stuff. Maybe some other newschool artist did produce such stuff.

Yes, it gets mentioned frequently so it is one of the popular ones. However I like that you define it as dark goa. Others probably wouldn´t call it dark or would call it euphoric or something like that. You define it dark just like I do. In another thread we can discuss similar tracks to this track beause I´ve always been looking for similar tracks to this one.

So when we talk about Astral Projection, only some tracks are mentioned and praised, while others are dismissed and not talked about a lot. It is always Gancing Galaxy and the other tracks of that album, Kabalah, People Can Fly, Another World, Searching for UFOs, Visions of Nasca, Aqualine Spirit and Life on Mars. Many other tracks however are dismissed and people don´t talk about them, while I find that there are many other Astral Projection tracks that are impressive and I don´t know if anyone else except me has talked about them in the past. Let´s list some tracks and other users can list others, if they want. My list contains The Feelings that is such an impressive track and has a very uplifting atmosphere and hypnotic sound. For me it really sounds like Astral Projection and is more geniune in sound than many other Astral Projection tracks. It has two main melodies and both of the melodies are iimpressive and incredible. For me the melodies sound positive and euphoric. I connect a lot with this track and have listened to it many years every day. It is one of the best Astral Projection songs and I am really wondering why noone has been talking about it in the past. Virtual Booster This is another great track and dismissed by many people. It is very active in sound and sounds like other tracks from that period. It has a great melody and the same sounds as 10 minutes to sunset, 12 000 suns and other tracks of In the Mix and Unmixed. It reminds me of Flying into a Star aswell. It is yet another track that is underrated altough it is very good in my opinion. Cosmic Accension Remix This one is another incredible Astral Projection track and at least as good as the original. The charmony of the sounds playing is great, since they included many sounds in this track and managed to keep them in charmony. The track doesn´t sound crowded or anything like that but charmonious despite of the many leads plying simultaniously. In my opinion this is also an underrated track and should have been mentioned more in the past. Mahadeva 99 This is an impresive remix of the original Mahadeva and as good as the original in my opinion. It is not as euphoric and positive as the original Mahadeva, but a bit more melancholic and not as fast as the original. The fresh atmosphere of Another World and the soft melody leads can almost make me cry at times. It is positive yet melancholic and very deep in sound. When I listen to this track, I think I am in a very big city with big mountains nearby and many modern buildings and snow. Or I think I am at a place similar to the coverphoto of Anotherworld. They managed to draw a very accurate cover that fits the music very well. Still, Mahadeva 99 is not a track that is talked about often and I think it is underrated. In my opinion it is one of the best tracks by Astral Projection. What do you think about those tracks and other underrated tracks by Astral Projection.

Does anyone know similar tracks to MFG - the Prophecy? I only know the tracks that were produced during the time Prophecy was produced, but I am wondering if there are other tracks with the same light yet melodious sound of MFG? The Prophecy sound was the best sound of MFG in my opinion, it was not as harsh as the later sound. Especially the basslines of the older tracks and the kickdrums wehre not as hard and sharp. Even some tracks on the album The Message have similar basslines as the old MFG tracks, for example the track "Dark Waters (Brighter Remix). This track is an impressive goa track in my opinion, as it is almost as good as the older tracks, just less melodic and a bit repetative.

But I don´t see very well and I will have problems recognising psynews members out of all the other people.

The track is in my opinion very dark in style and has a dark mode.

Still, if I come we must decide how to meet, because I am not coming for the festival mainly, but in order to meet psynews people. Will the psynews community meet on the scene or where will they meet?

Abasio, you can spare yourself such commends, because the track is aktually very melancholic. We argued about it in the past and many users agreed that Oforia sounds melancholic. If it doesn´t sound melancholic for you, how does it sound then? Whether people find music said or not depends on the instruments and keys choosen and Oforia - Soil is a melancholic and sad track. It is much different to Astral Projection - Chaos for example, a very happy sounding song.

They don´t neccessarily have a bad taste, but they simply don´t know about the real goa trance artists and the artists from the ninetees. They mistake goa trance with different styles of music just like proggressive and someone needs to tell them what real goa trance is. But most of the young people will not contribute to the goa trance scene even when they know and like it, because they don´t spend money on music and usually don´t go to official parties where the big artists play.

But I have one question. How high is the volume on such a festival, because I am sensible for very high volumes. I know there are loud parties and very loud. I would not like it if this particular party is very loud. And if I come someone has to give me his phonenumber so that I find you guys and not be alone in the big festival, because I want to meet the psynews people. It would be great if we could also meet after or inbetween the events, when no music is playing to be able to talk without having to try.

So I am looking for very melancholic ambient tracks like Jaia - After the Rain. This track is very melancholic and has a very serious sound. I havn´t heart many tracks that are so intense at dark as this track. After the intro a very dark part kicks in with a very melancholic melody and really dark bassline rythm. Also the bright filtersweeps that sound a bit like metal are not very common for ambient. They add more aggression to the track and make it sound even darker. Therefore this track is as dark as Oforia - Soil, one of the darkest ambient tracks know to exist. I would be pleased if people can recommend me similar ambient tracks that are not only about glitch and elegant lounge sounds.

Indeed that is the case. However I find barking of big dogs pleasant, if it is not too loud and aggressive. Many dogs just bark when they hear other dogs. Aggressive dogs however bark to people and bark very loud, which is indeed very unpleasant to hear.

I listened to those tracks again and listened to many other tracks by Michael Cassette. In myopinion the music is impressive, except that the mastering and mixing are a bit harsh. The music itself is incredible in my opinion, because such melodies are really uncommon and very twisted. Some people say this is house, others say it is trance. In my opnion this is trance and it is very hypnotizing and twisted.

I have always had big respect for your music and some of your tracks are the best goa trance tracks ever produced. For example Subconciousness (Remix). That is really an impressive track just like many others including the tracks from Devil´s Circus. I always enjoyed your music enormously and think you are a talented artist.

If they had created it together, the track would sound even better as it sounds now. They should create another version of it, because Aqua Line Spirit is one of the best goa trance songs that have ever been created.

IF it is very close then yes, but if you hear it coming out of the window with low noise, it is pleasant, at least to my ears.

The months I staied in Bulgaria from August 2013 til February 2014, I heart dog barking frequently, especially when it was cold. The sound of dog barking is very calming to me and as if some animals are there as friends. I always liked dogs and they give me the feeling of protection, as if they are guards that protect the world from bad people. Here in Germany dog barking is uncommon, but at the place I am in, there is dog barking and it seems some people keep a dog outside. It is a big dog, because the barking sounds like the barking from a sheeperdog. Dog barking sounds warm and as if I am living in a warm country. The last days were not very warm here, unfortunately, but dog barking has something awakening and lifelike, that is really pleasant to hear. For me it is something to reduce stress.

In my opnion Doof would fit well with Calr Cox and Union Jack.

Now on a serious note though. Astral projection and Electric Universe. If they would work together, they would create the most emotional and best goa trance. Sunset Skyline , Synthadelic Gliede and Protamento are some of the best goa trance songs, combined with tracks like Visions of Nasca, Searching for UFOs or Virtual Booster the result would be impressive. Add Thrilithon and Art of Trance and it would be the best music to exist. But only Electric universe and Astral Projection can produced exceptional music. Another supergroup of goa trance would be Green Nuns, Slinky Wizard, Tristan and the Infinity Project. Such a group could produce fantastic acid goa trance, combined with the darkness of the infinity project.

I can come, I just hope at the time when I visit that there wont be flashlights from cameras flashing around.
