No, it is not a weird poll, it is a normal poll, as with any other track or artist. If you don`t find it melancholic, maybe it is the Greek weather that does not alllow you to feel the melancholy in that track, other members on this site agree, that it is melancholic.

Which version of this very track do you prefer, the original version or the remix. This track is one of the most driving and melancholic tracks in goa trance history. It is very melancholic, yet has something positive and uplifting, it is not boring at all but makes the feelings just explode when listening to this masterpeace, I find this track so outstanding and great, it is the definition of power. The atmosphere is like sunshine, rain, snow and wind at the same time on a fresh winterday, so it is absolutely impressive. I prefer the 98 remix, because it has even more power than the original. The strings are better and the synths are more freakin out so it is really an explosion of feelings. Only the volume of the strings could be a bit reduced, but otherwise that version is better and in the top twenty of goa trance history for sure. Aktually I have two different versions of the Remix, on one of them everything is perfect, even the string volume, I would really love to dance on it playing loud. The oroiginal: The original version of Power Source - Granda is also impressive and maybe 2 percent less impressive as the remix. The dense atmosphere, the deep melancholy, the extreme energy, it is definatly a goa trance monster and a huge achievment by the creater of this masterpeace.

That track is not very melancholic in my opinion. The bassline at times is indeed very melancholic, but that track reminds me of summer and warm times. It is like remembering a great time in summer and somehow has some melancholy and nostaliga in it, but it is also a bit optimistic, like, hey better times will come. About the drive in my opinion it does have the drive I am talking about. Sometimes people really seem to understand what I mean when.

Do you really consider this melancholic? It is a very good track and has a drive, it is driving, but it is optimistic and happy, not melancholic at all in my opinion, it is very happy in my opinion to be honest, just like some Amen track, for example Electric Blue. That is not melancholic.

It´s different to everyone but many trance tracks are happy indeed, MWNN, where would you find sadness there? Green nuns, etc? But boris Blenn, Power source, Oforia, Chi Ad, Morphem, those have sad stuff indeed in my opinion.

Youare absolutely right, I think the same and that is why I like that kind of tracks so much, especially at this time where leaves are falling and autumn turns to winter, the music mirrors the atmosphere outside.

Absolutely, those tracks have nothing to do with melancholy. Granda 98 Remix for example does have something to do with melancholy, it is very melanchoic in my opinion.

Astral projection is stilll very good, no doubt, however the track that can be heart in the video here is not really my cup of tea. It is uninspirative and a bit simple. The first part of it is pretty good, the second part is not as great in my opinion, in a new album I would expect better tuff. Back from hell is lightyears better than that track, also the Stimuli remix I have heart.

So here is a list of my favourite melanchoic mornign tracks. All of them are very melanchoic in my opinion and very driving aswell. They all hae beautiful strings and are as dynamic as a winter with 20 times sun and snow in my opinion. They are heavy and driving enough to really let me drift away and have a great melachoic day. It highly depents on the country you are living I would say. Because here in Bulgaria, Macedonia, Serbia and Germany, the countries I know stuff about electronica is liked like several years earlier. The Macedonian Antenna 5 radio plays house and other electronica regurarely and many other radio stations do. When I go out and listen to the music in the centre, many café´s play electronc music without vocals and singing, so I have really not noticed any declining of electronic music. Nor did I notice any grooth of electronic music in the last 5 - 6 years. When you own a café you have to care what you rcostumers want to listen and most importantly you have to choose a very varried collection of electronic music in order to please them. Normal electronic music is not that varried anyway because it lacks of melodies and changing synthlines, which is why I think the electronic night could have been better with some very good electronic music from the goa and psy genre. There is enough of music in that genre without psychedelic melodies and it represents the best electronic music in my opinion. Very varried filtersweeps and interesting percussion make the track sound changing even without having a lot of melody. That is also the thing that probably annoys people in electronic music anyway, the mnotony that comes with it. Many tracks are just a one note bassline, simple filtersweeps and a kick and a clap. That is all and I can`t stand such music.

Lol, I wish I were here when those things happened, it must have bee very very funny to read those things and how he fights a lot and the big arguments. But probably he went too far so it is understandable he is banned. And about Alien, in my opinion he was a very emotional personallity and I could not stand him at all. He always had to have the last word and many characters here did not please him. He was very narrowminded and did not like any kind of psychedelic trance. He used to fight with me a lot and acted like a little insulted kid from time to time, which I did not like at all. It is funny to see people in the age he was to act so immature and respectless towards other personallities or music and similar stuff. I can`t even find teh words for his personallity, but I would describe him as very temper, impulsive and narrowminded. It could easily be distinguished that he is in a hot country like Brazil, since his behaviour did not show any cosmopolity or respect for things he doesn`t like. And by respect I don`t mean that he says, he respects any kind of music, but respect also means that you aktually try other kinds of music, other kinds of food, other kinds of games, other kinds of books and so on. Saying you have respect means nothing. Alone the fact that he said, he doesn`t like any psytrance made me jump to the wall. Any person who says all tracks of a specific genre, even fi you don`t like it, are very very ignorant

So I really love to use intelligent and professional language, especially when I see other people here do it, that gies me the reason to do it even more. Not that I need to talk like that or want to sound intelligent, I don`t care, but it really sounds very funny to me when I read it so I try to sound as professional as I can. I say return instead of come back, active instead of turn on and many other funny phrases, so that I sound as the funny articles, who explain computer stuff or similar. Even though some of them are for newbies, the authors try to write as complex as possible so they sound cool and intelligent. So I do the same thing and sometimes exaggerate on porpuse so I laugh out lout when reading my texts or the answers of them. But sometimes it is needed and I am serious, for example when talking about behaviour of people and similar things or analysing dvelepment of things in goa trance or other things. It is needed sometimes, but sometimes I do it on porpuse to laugh very hard about it. Did someone notice that yet?

Such things always happen because people try to play the mother of other people. I respect that artists are well likek and appreciated but when it goes to an extent that other people help Colin and leave Neruogen alone it is clear that he will react badly to it since many people are on the side of Colin, while one or few people are only on the side of Neurogen. So in that case it is best to let them sort out the arguemnt instead of acting psychologically incorrect and helping one or the other person. When two or three are gainst it is no problem, but when many people take only one side it is clear that it will lead to an argument. Colin OOOD is a big artist and I do think he is mentally healthy enough to protect himself without others helping him out. It is a big shame such things happen but I also don`t understand why Neurogen wanted to go. I can`t really imagine that everyone hated him just because of that particular argument, in no way that is possible. If for example Elysium would return now or another psynews member, I would act with respect to him because Iwasn`t there when the arguments happened nor have I read what they were about.

So this summer at the end of August I went to the seaside of northern Greece. I went to Stavros near asprovalta and it was very nice. The landscape of northern Greece is really beautiful, it is similar to Bulgaria, big and steep mountains, high with lots of rocks, even near the seaside. Some mountains are even shared between Greece, Macedonia and Bulgaria, like the mighty and steep Belazica mountain at Promahon / Kulata. So the landscape directly at the seaside was very good and the sea itself was great aswell, no waves at all at this part of Greece. The water was very clean and you could work in 200 - 300 meters until it got deeper than your body. Ideal conditions for swimming long distances for example, which I did. Swimming on the seaside is easier than on normal water due to the sold inside the water. The temperature of the water was very warm and so it was a pleasure to stay in for a long time. The lack of waves was also great because you would not get sold in your eyes from waves that are higher than your head. If it is not too hot I can go there again. One think got my attention however and not I was dissapointed. The menu at the restourants were bad. They only listed in a few words what you can order to it, no description about the ingridients, about the ammount of garmish wahtsoever, that was really dissapointing and I have not seen that in other countries yet. The foot itself was very tasty and not very expensive (For Bulgarian standarts however pretty expensive, but for Greek it was ok I think) But very dissapointing was, that the meals included a lot of meat and very few potatos. I ordered a Gyros and it had only about 10 - 15 potatos and lots of meat, the ammount of potatos should have been twice as much. In another restourant I ate a chicken leg and this also had way too few potatos. I hope it is a local problem in Stavros and Asprovalta and not in whole Greece. The salads where tasty however. The girls I saw there were so incredible it was unbelievable. I don`t know where they were from, lot`s of Serbians, Macedonians, a few Bulgarians and Russians and probably Greeks, but they were very cute and thin. Only the best of the best when it came to girls, it was more than a pleasure to look at them. I could not distinguish where the girls where from, only the people at the beach since I heart which language they used to talk. The roads however where not very nice and clearly not as good as the Bulgarian roads. But that is normal due to the crysis there is no money to repair or rehabilitate the roads. The motorway from Drama to asprovalta was closed because it is under poor condition. The Greek music at the radios was nice as I like Greek music. But really why are there only Greek channels in Greece, no international ones? Macedonia is much better, only good music from Macedonia. Macedonia is very fammous for good music, for example their Antenna 5, which plays a lot of electronica. Yes, that was my report about Greece.

I agree, it is to some extent melanchoic. The track is very good by the way and the French style can be heart right away. Very similar in sound to Total Eclipse.
