Some say that Boris Blenn was medicore at best. I agree that he was one of the best artists in the history of goa trance.

Not bad but it is a joke to the real Boris Blenn. Alone the rediculous string is enough to make the track much less great in sound as the original. Boris Blenn used the Uupiter 8000 or juno 106 to create the string. Therefore it sounds full and strong while the string in much less impressive and sounds cheap. The rest of the sounds are also not spectacular and the kickdrum is very annoying in my opinion. I don´t like such kickdrums at all. The track is nice but no comaprison to the original. Therefore Midsphere should call it cover and not remix. A remix is of equal quality as the original, a cover can be made by an amateaur aswell.

That one is very nice. Sounds like israeli goa trance, like Astral Projection or Guy zabbag. The melodies sound fresh and euphoric, however they are a bit one after another and that is a bit bad. The kickdrum could be a bit different since it is a typical nitzho kickdrum, but otherwise the track is great. I guess I picked the wrong tracks.

I just checked it out and don´t like it at all. The tracks are mastered very loud and have very hard kickdrumss. That is an absolute no-go for me. Also the tracks are very fast and overcrowded, typical for newschool.

Can anyone please recommend me some good newschool goa trance that sounds similar to oldschool goa trance and has high quality mixing and mastering? Lately I tried some Skarma because it is similar to Astral Projection, but I was very dissapointed by the soundquality. The mixing sounded bad and homemade, as if I had created the track and not even used mastering plug-ins. I was very dssapointed by Skarma, even the music was by far not as good as the real Astral projection. What can be recommended from the newschool artists? Artha? Nova fractal? Artifact 2? I wont listen to Filteria because it is too busy for me, just as Khetzal. Goasia has some nice tracks, the older goasia at least, I don´t know about the latest Goasia.

It may be since there is other Nitzhonot on the cd such as Cyan, but there are tracks from The Delta and analog Pussy on the cd aswell. First track is Analog Pussy - Infinity. That track is the eitgth on the cd.

Nice choise about Man with no name - Earth moving the sun. The album is incredible.

How came those two tracks have the same main melody? On Anaao Pussy - Infinity it tarts at 2:30, on Cosmosis - ahrenheit Remix it stars at 4 19. Wicha track existed before and which artist copied from which one?. Anywaay both tracks are great, but Infinity by Analog Pussy is a masterpeace and it is a shame they did not create many tracks of that kind.

For me that is not real goa trance, but much closer to psyntrance. Goa trance is more progressive than this stuff.

so tell me which Koxbox album is goa trance and which is not, because the Great unkown and later is not goa trance for me. It is psychedelic trance with different melodies and sounds as goa trance. If I listen to Astral Projection, Man with no name or some other artists and compare it to Koxobx, the sound is much different.

you know that Ormoin knows a lot of goa aswell and he did not know it, just like other people who did not knew the track. So betting that Annoebis will know it is risky I would say, but I wont bet with you.

If all those people who posted here don´t know this track, I think that Annoebis wont know it either. Probably it is one of those tracks made by the unknown artists who worked for the commercial labels, like the label who released alot of goa trance compilations with colorbox on almost all of their compilations.

Because the melodies have a strong emotional impact. Some people define emotional differently to other people, but in my view emotional means when a track has strong and powerful melodies, which are not too light or too dark. I don´t want to go into details however since I don´t want to start an unneccesarry discussion about emotional or not. More important is that we find out what track that is. There is another incredible track there with a female sample "We are going to transform you into another shape, destructive changes will be made in your system, this is the infinity of analog pussy", but it doesn´t sound like the style of analog pussy. But I just found out it is actually Analog Pussy - Infinity, one of the best goa trance tracks eve3r I think.

Koxbox is not goa trance, but psychedelic trance. In their style Koxbox is very complex indeed and they might be more complex than Etnica. In goa Trance I don´t know any artist who created more complex melody structures than Entica, for example floating universe, Phthalic vibes, history, and many more. If anyone can list an artist with more complex melodystructures, he should do it, I would be pleased to learn about that artist.

This is the most emotional goa trance track I know and I know about it for many years. I got it burned on a cd from some Bulgarian friends even before I had internet. I never found it on the internet, but the track must be from some big artist because the sound is familiar to me. However I don´t know where it comes from. I disagree. Electra is not an overly complex track for their standards in my opinion, but a very good one still. Maia is indeed very complex, but I don´t like it a lot because it is generic in sound. Headspin and Family of Light are different in sound aswell and I don´t like that kind of sound a lot. In general many Pleiadians tracks and all Etnica tracks of the album Live in Athnes are very complex.

So today I decided to listen some Etnica and Pleiadians and typed Etnica in the windows media player, showing all tracks by them. After hearing some tracks from Etnica and from Pleiadians I can say that those people the most complex goa trance tracks or at least the most complex goa trance tracs I now. Today I listened to Phthalic Vibes and this is one of the most complex goa trance tracks in soud that I´ve ever heart. The complexity of the melodies and the song structure are just outstanding. Many key changes, many different melodies, great harmony, even the kickdrum is not the same during the whole track. That tracks is really incredible and can almost be labelled intelligent trance. Another example of that is Pleiadians - Starbase II. That track is a very emotional goa trance track with similarities to Etnica History. I like it a lot because it is also very interesting to listen and has some unpredibcable sounds. The main nelody is impressive. Pleiadians - Time Dilation and the remix are both very impressive tracks with complex melodies and lots of well choosen sounds. In general many tracks by those people have a lot of sounds, however you can´t say that any of those sounds is not at place at all History by Etnica is another amazing track and one of their best, the track is very interesting and keeps you listening like a peace of classic. Pure brilliance here aswell, unmatachable. Other examples of that are floating Universe, Plastic and Vinama. That is my point of view, does anyone want to add something to it? In general it appears that Etnica/Pleiadians were very careful and didn´t leave any second of their tracks with carelessness.

First you should try the incredible album "The Prophecy". That is the most melodic and psychedelic album from MFG in my opinion. Than you should try New Kind of World and Project Genesis. All of those albums are impressive and many masterpeaces can be found on those albums. The best MFG tracks however havn´t been released on albums, but on compilations during 1995 and 1997. Great examples of that are Psychic Resonator, Desert Sun, Journey Beyond the planet, and many more. Also check out any old passenger track, it sounds almost like MFG since he is a member of MFG. Impressive tracks produced by those two guys.
